i downloaded ios7 my iphone 4s now isnt working i am unable to slide to unlock my iphone, yet my lock button at the top of my phone is broken and has been for sometime so i have been using the accessibility feature to lock and switch off my iphone i can still click on this button and i can still swipe up and down but i am unable to swipe too unlock and enter my passcode.. so i am thinking somethings wrong with the software? when i try to restore my iphone in itunes i am unable to as ios7 needs for location services to be switched off in iphone but i cant do this cos i cant get into my iphone, can someone please help me,,, please,,,

IF the device does NOT have a cracked screen or liquid damage and is in hardware warrenty.. apple can repair/replace the device for free.
Call apple tech to find out what your croverage is for fixing that button
IF IT DOES then you will pay a fee for repairing

The "Find" feature is useful if you mislay the phone, but not usually of value if the phone is stolen.

Switching off location services disables cell service?

Is this right? If I switch off location services, I cannot send or receive cell phone calls. Basically switching off location services is the equivalent of putting my phone in airplane mode?

No, it's not right. Turning off location services should not be the same thing as putting the device in Airplane mode. Airplane mode turns off all of the radios (wifi, cellular, BT and GPS). Turning off location services doesn't disable cellular or, rather, it shouldn't in a properly working phone. I'd start with the standard troubleshooting steps.

I don't believe that this will happen, however, the entire iPhone will shut down when the iPhone reaches the auto-shutdown power level. There is no way to turn that Off other that connecting the iPhone to power.

I just downloaded the ios7 successfully (love it) and after putting in a NEW passcode when I went back to the phone, it wouldn't take the passcode I thought I had entered. Phone is disabled, I never backed it up to my computer so it is not recognized, I can't get into it to get the serial number, and the Apple support won't accept the MEID # from the back of the phone so I can get help. I imagine a ton of people are attempting to activate after the update, and the server is getting overloaded. Simple patience, maybe keep trying, and if possible, try a little later. Think of it as all those people lining up at Apple Stores + about a million more.

There is no logical expectation for Whatsapp to be listed under location services or for that to have any affect on what the app can access.

Yes I already went to Settings > Privacy > Location Services, is not allowing me to turn it off.
And yes I have disable the restrictions too.

When I tapped the screen, there was a symbol on the left that looked like arrows going in a circle and on the right were the arrows crossed. The crossed arrows were orange, when I tapped this orange symbol, it turned to white and the songs STOPPED shuffle.
