I have had an Itunes account for some time maybe 8 years and my account is setup through my work computer which I have had updated to new systems at least 3-4 times. I try to authorize and it states I cannot authorize since I have hit my limit on computer

The 90 day association doesn't stop you authorising an account, it only stops you from using another account for iTunes Match or automatic downloads or redownloading its past purchases : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4627

HRTRV_IF_MODIFY_TRIP - account authorization check in PR01?

I used the SAP standard function module HRTRV_IF_MODIFY_TRIP to modify the trip expenses for our customerized Travel Services online tool.
In this function module, it called T code PR01 instead of PR05.
Some of the users will get run time errors when they called this function module HRTRV_IF_MODIFY_TRIP because they do not have the authorizations for the cost center/WBS element used in trip.
How can I turn off the FI account authorization check in PR01?
We do not have this FI account authorization check in PR05.

I finally figured how to fix my issue of this function module HRTRV_IF_MODIFY_TRIP. In my case, I assigned the expense of the whole trip to account 1 and business area 1. I put this account assignment in the table COSTDIST_TRIP.
If this whole trip had two expense items - $500 for Hotel and $100 for Meals. I assigned $60 of the meals to account 2 and business area 2 and I only put this assignment in table COSTDIST_RECE.
Because the function module are expecting the rest of the account assignment for the meals which I assumed that it should go to the account assignment for the whole trip, the business area 1 for the whole trip disappeared after the data were modified.
After I change my program and adding the default account assignment
(account 1 and business area 1) for the $40 of the meal in table COSTDIST_RECE, everything worked.

Account Authorization Checks

In SRM 4.0, we use the backend to determine what account authorization a user has. This has worked pretty well until we applied SP12.
All of our users were given the Employee job role in SRM in order to create carts. If the user is considered a central user, they can create carts using any account. After SP12, these users were only able to create carts to funds centers in their profile and it did not look at the fact that they also had central roles.
Our programmer has modified his authority check function module. However, this will look at users that have any central role. We don't want that to happen. Without completely modifying the function module, how do other organizations allow their central users to create carts using any account. Are they given a separate role on the SRM side that differs from the departmental users?
Would the separate role in SRM override their R3 security?
Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Monique,
We do not limit g/l accounts by user per se. That is a large task for a company of our size and we have too many exceptions to the rule.
Instead, we created a custom table, overriden the search help and added custom edits to limit g/l accounts by material group (product catagory). This guides the usage of g/l accounts which keeps our account group happy.
BTW, we also doo addtional check for account assignments (orders, WBS elements, etc.) to prevent problems in R/3, which keeps our purchasing group happy.

One of them may be authorised twice or you may not have removed an authorisation from a previous device.
You can't de-authorise just the computers you no longer have access to.
Your only option is to de-authorise all your computers and then re-authorise those you wish to be authorised. You can do this by logging into your account settings in iTunes on your computer (Store > View My ID) and selecting the option to de-authorise all.
Please note however, you are only permitted to do this once in each 12 month period, therefore you would be better de-authorising your computers before you lose access to them. you can do this from the 'Store' menu in iTunes.

How delete account or reset the limit of account authorize

HT1420 cannot authorize with old apple id

I just bought a new mac mini - my imac died a few months ago. I had backed up all my itunes files on an external drive. When I started importing them nearly half of my purchases (of a 12000 song library) will not play. It asks for me to authorize this computer for the songs bought under my old (very old) apple id
[email protected] - and no matter what I try or which password I use I cannot log in to authorize them. I have tried resetting it, the email will not send to any account I have, it says my birthday is incorrect when I try through security validation.
What can I do? I have thousands of dollars of songs that I cannot play now.

Auth Group for Accounting Doc and Account authorization for Vendors

Hi guys,
I have question regarding Accounting Doc for Vendor and G/l Account. I have a security client whree I build my business roles for end user but we we configuration client where all the functional focus wokring and doing configuration. My questiion when I start creating business roles and start going into these authorization objects and filling up the field values (F_BKPF_BEK, F_BKPF_BES, F_BKPF_BLA).
I won't see auth group that will be c reated by functional cocus because they are working on configuration Client and they probably create auth group for above authorization objects in Config lcient and I'm building Roles in my security client.
If it is true what would be the best way to create business role. I'm in realization face of the project Should I build my roles in Config client? Please advise.

What is the benefit of a "security client" in DEV? I don't get it...
You anyway need to protect the namespace... and the authorizations for role development (SU24) and admin (PFCG).

HT1420 De-authorization

I just got a new system and while trying to install itunes I discover that all five of my authorizations have been used. I don't have access to any of the other systems save my last computer, is there another way to de-authorize a system without accually being at the system?

Open iTunes. if you cant see the menu bar, press Alt. go to Store>View my Apple ID (account address), find where it says Deauthorize All. click that. this will clear out all of the computer authorizations on that account.

You can add authorisation to check GLs.
For this follow the following steps:
1. Create a role with Authorisation object "F_BKPF_BES".
2. Assign acitivity as 03 Display to the authorisation object.
3. Assign the role created to the respective user IDs.
4. Also in GL master Assign the Authorisation Group in "Control Data" tab.

I have authorized 5 computers/ipad/ipods to my Itunes account. How do I DE-authorize a computer that has crashed and cannot be access anymore in order to Authorize a new computer?

You need to copy them from your old computer or the backup of that old computer.

I have 1 computer and 1 Nano, 1 Touch, iPhone 5. My account is locked out. Message says my computer has maxed out on authorizations. I cannot access my downoaded songs and play them. I need to deauthorize all and start fresh. What should I do to fix this.

Folks,
Question if you have more then 5 devices and you want to enable home share
what is the workground for authorization limiit.
It really painful proccess. I have one single computer with entire library.
two mac mini connected to tv bunch of other device laptops etc
and I want to share alll my content on any device at my home network.
So what is the solution ? The number of device connected to the home/cloud
increase day by day and apple need to increase a default limit.

You can get another Apple ID and authorize under it, but there is a wait time between switching which is 90 days.

Trouble with account authorization-can't play purchased music

So my iBook g4 just got back from "depot" where they installed a new logic board. They kept the hard drive. Evidently, however, they took the liberty of installing all of the updates, including iTunes 8. Now, I cannot play my purchased music.
When I click on the song, a window box appears telling me that I need to authorize my computer. I enter my apple ID and password, then get a message saying that I have now authorized 1 out 5 computers. But when I click back on the song...I get the same window box asking for my account and password.

First, make absolutely sure you're authorizing for the same account used to purchase these items. I suggest double checking one of your purchased files... select it, go to your File menu and choose Get Info. On the Summary tab, in the middle section, right-hand column, it will show you the Account Name (Apple ID) of the account used to purchase the item.
Beyond that, you might try deauthorizing the computer (repeatedly) until it says you're not authorized. (Store menu > Deauthorize Computer). Then, go back and go to Store > Authorize Computer, enter the info, and see if you can play a purchased item.

First, deauthorize your computer from iTunes. Then, follow the steps in this document regarding deleting the SC Info folder. Then, authorize your computer again and see if you can play your purchases.

Account Authorization

I have used up all of my 5 computer authorization's for iTunes and I've recently bought a new computer and installed iTunes but I cannot transfer anything from my iPod because iTunes says I'm not authorized to play/sync anything. Help please.
