Late last year, I have activated all the computers. After that, I had only one activated. Tried to activate the second. He writes that he can no longer, because the 5 computers already activated. As I now turn off all computers? P.S. 1) I can not wait for Year 2) The password for the account did not tell anyone.

Need help, we have CS3 Design standard licences, that have not deactivated just reinstalled computers and now I'm unable to active CS3. The maximum number of activations allowed for this copy of Adobe Design Suite standard CS3 has been reached. How can I deactivate or re-use my licences? Where I need to contact, I don't want to call, wait many hours on the phone by lottery of support competence.

  • HT1420 Deauthorizing computers help!

what about if you have sold your other computers and just found out that you had to deauthorize users? is there a way that it can be reset? i have a new macbook pro and i dont think any of the computers that I have had have been reauthorized. please help

    Hey mstogs101488,
You can easily deauthorize your account on another computer but it has to be already hitting you 5 max computer authorized.
iTunes Store: About authorization and deauthorization
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1420
If you need to authorize your new computer and are unable due to already having five authorized computers, you can deauthorize all computers by doing the following:
Click iTunes Store on the left side of iTunes.
If you're not signed in to the store, click the Account button, then enter your account name and password.
Click the Account button again (your Apple ID appears on the button), enter your password, and then click View Account.
In the Account Information window, click Deauthorize All.
Have a good one and enjoy your new MacBook Pro

  • HT1420 Which Computers are Authorized

I've got 5 computers authorized and I don't know which they are. Can I view a list of the authorized computers? I can't tell if I want to delete them because I don't know which they are.
    DK

You can easily discover if a computer is authorised or not by trying to play protected content from the iTunes account on that computer, if the computer is authorised for that account, it will play the content, otherwise it will ask for authorisation.

  • HT1420 deactivating a computer from iTunes

how longs it take be able to activate other computer after deactivation a previous computer

You should be able to do it pretty much immediately (assuming that they are connected to the internet) - it just took me less than 10 seconds to deauthorise my computer and then reauthorise it.

  • HT1420 5 computers authorized, most I cannot get to

If I de-authorize all computers, do I lose all my purchased songs in my library?

No. Deauthorizing does not delete your items but you won't be able to play them unless you re-authorize.

  • HT1420 authorized computers?

what if I no longer have a computer that is one of my authorized computer?

If you've got 5 computers authorised for the account in question, and you need to free up authorizations, I'd do a "Deauthorize All" from one of the computers you have access to, and then reauthorize the computers you have access to.
For instructions, see the following document:

  • HT1420 authorizing computers

I am no longer using or have the computers that were authorized. I think users should have the ability to deauthorize their computers whenever they need to if we have to register a debit or credit card to use the service then we should be able to make changes whenever we need to

  • HT1420 Deauthorizing computers I Don't Have Anymore

I need to deauthorize four other computers, that I no longer have, in order to authorize the one I want. How can I go about doing that when I no longer have those computers?

If you no longer have, or access to, the computer(s) you want to deauthorise,
Log in to iTunes,  go to "view your account info" on the itunes store, deauthorise all five, (Please Note: this can only be done Once every 12 months)  and then re-authorize your current Computer(s) one at a time.

  • HT1420 deauthorizing computers I no longer have???

I have 2 computers that have crashed and are no longer in my care... how can I deauthorize them so I can transfer everything over to my first MAC computer? And once I deauthorize them, how do I go about transferring all the previously purchased items to it?

Easy. From the iTunes Store menu, click View my Account...
Sign in, then click "deauthorize all".
To download your purchases, from the Store menu again, select "Check for available downloads".
You can only "deauthorize all" once per year.

  • HT1420 Deauthorizing Computers

I am trying to deauthorize all of my previous computers.  When I try to add music purchased I get the message that I already have 5 computers authorized.  I followed the instructions to deauthorize them all and I don't get the link to click to do that shown in the instructions.  Instead, my account says I only have one computer authorized.  How can I get my current computer authorized and all others deauthorized?

De-authorizing Computers (contributed by user John Galt)
You can de-authorize individual computers, but only by using those computers. The only other option is to "de-authorize all" from your iTunes account.
      1. Open iTunes on a computer
      2. From the Store menu, select "View my Account..."
      3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
      4. Under "Computer Authorizations" select "De-authorize All".
      5. Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
You may only do this once per year.
After you "de-authorize all" your authorized computers, re-authorize each one as required.
If you have de-authorized all computers and need to do it again, but your year has not elapsed, then contact: Apple - Support - iTunes - Contact Us.
For more information on authorization and de-authorization: iTunes Store- Authorize or deauthorize your Mac or PC.

  • HT1420 no computers are authorized and it won't let me authorize my new mac

I dont know what to do it doesn't give me any options.

How are you trying to authorise your account on your computer's iTunes ? There should be an Authorise option under the Store drop-down menu e.g.
Is that option not showing ?

  • Cloud clients vs. Team Ready Clients getting mixed up

Before getting a Team Ready license going for the various PCs and Macs in my department (5 seats,) I had already purchased a Creative Cloud license for one of my Macs, which I also share on the Macbook I take work home on since it's good for two computers for exactly that reason.
Anyway, apparently since the log in for all of the computers is under them same Adobe ID, I have a couple that, even though I installed with the license key for the Team, keep thinking they are on the Cloud account and require me to deactivate one of the other computers to keep going.
What I need is a way to consolidate all the units under the Cloud so I can avoid this.
I received an email before the end of 2012 saying I'd be contacted at the beginning of this year with new Cloud options, which I'm hoping will solve this problem, but haven't heard anything.
I'm hoping you'll have some advice so I can quit either constantly deactivating computers or re-entering license codes.

    Hi Troyelister
Creative Cloud only allows you to use two different computers with the same Adobe ID/email address - even if you have two separate memberships linked to the same email address. If you want to use them on four computers it would be best to change the email address for one of them, probably the team one would be easiest. If the work one has replaced the need for your individual one, you might want to contact our customer service department regarding cancellation options.

Hi I am trying to sync my ip3 but wont allow me to transfer music purchased on the phone to itunes on the laptop. States I have 5 authorised computers on my account but when i  logg into my itunes account it only identifies 1 so i carn't deactive all to start again? I am trying to backup data fom myip3 to put on ip4 so carnt even complete sync atm Any ideas on what to do??

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use.
If your sister doesn't know the password for her old ID, and if her old ID is an earlier version of her current ID, she needs to temporarily recreate the old ID so you can delete if from your phone using her current password.  To do this, have her go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with her current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to her old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to her old email address.  You can now use the password for her current ID to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for her old account ID.  After you do this, Next, have your sister recreate her current ID again by going back to https://appleid.apple.com and changing her primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.
Then your can save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to the camera roll on your device, then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted.  You will be prompted to either keep or delete the iCloud data from your device.  If the data is already in another account you can choose Delete.  If you need to migrate it to another account, choose Keep, then choose Merge when signing into the new account.
