HT1430 Connection to the server failed. Was working fine and  then just stopped. Done everything the forums suggest.

My mail keeps coming up with "connection to server available". Was working fine then suddenly stopped. I performed the ISO 6.0.1 update afterwards hoping it wild fix it but it didn't. Have followed all the instructions on other forums ie turning phone off, deleting account and reactivating, even logged out of hotmail at home . Nothing has worked. Please help, I need my emails for work.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts   Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

    Printer has been working fine since we bought it but tonight I suddenly began receiving an error message stating that the printer is offline. I have turned both off and on checked to ensure they are both on the correct router, but then problem persists.

    Here's a relatively easy way to make sure the printer has the latest firmware, which may well solve your issue:
    There is a free app in the App Store called Epson iPrint.  Download and install it on your iPad, then open it, and see if it sees your printer.  If so, click Maintenance in the lower left, and then click Printer Settings on the bottom.  Then click Firmware Update.  It will detect if your printer has the latest firmware and install it if not.
    Hopefully that will fix your issue.

    Sounds like you have corrupt backup data, if this occurs from one phone to another. Try restoring the phone as a new device, without a backup. Try using for a day before installing any other apps, etc. See if that improves the battery life. Then try syncing back applications a couple at a time. Something seems to be locking in the processor which is draining the battery.
    Do you live in an area where there are Apple Stores? If so, try making an appointment with the Genius Bar to have the device checked out.

    My Acrobat Pro IX license was activated and was working fine. Then the application stop launching after an update was by Adobe. After a while I uninstalled the application successfully, logged on to my adobe account, viewed past purchases, re-downloaded the application successfully, activated the license and entered my serial number. The next day I get a pop up message that my trial licenses is set to expire in 29 days. I clicked again to activate my license and this time, the message stated that the license for serial number has been revoked.
    How do I resolve this matter?

    I own a HP Pavilion dv6 7039tx Notebook.  The OS is Win 7 64bit. I made 4 partitions after formatting the 1TB HDD as the C drive would not reduce to the  40GB size I wanted through disk management.
    It was working fine till now and then it suddenly got stuck during startup.
    I talked to customer support and they said it was a OS problem and I should order a set of 6 Recovery DVDs. i want to know if using the HP recovery disk
    1) Has an option to repair the system and leaves the disk partition unchanged?
    2) It resets the notebook to factory condition?
    3) There is an option of recovery disk which I should specifically ask for?

    Ok, my mac was fine yesterday.
    I have an Imac 20" inch 2 gb of ram...
    I had shut it down, and I turned it back on. It came up but started running sluggishly. So It ended up freezing, so i held the power button down. Now it's stuck at the apple white screen with the little spinning thing. I have logged in via single user mode, and tried to run fsck -fy... It gets to checking catalog file... and sits... then an error comes up....
    Failed to issue COM RESET successfully after 3 attempts. Failing...
    then

    I don't know what to do. I just need to know if its the hard drive took a crap or something more serious... or if something simple... I don't have a retail cd but I am trying to find one...
    I have boot camp installed, and windows booted up once... Ran fine for a little then kinda froze... so i'm not sure... Is there something i can do if i can get the windows side running? Please help me out as I have no idea where to look up error codes...
    I also tried target mode from my powerbook to my imac... and it just kinda freezes when I try to look at the volume..... anything... Please help...

    well mine was a bad hard drive... that was the problem... Now whether or not an update can cause a hard drive to fail.... not sure.... But i bought a new 500gb hd off of newegg it was only $60... so not too bad... Taking apart the mac sucked though... hahahaha.... get a suction cup... and lift the screen... i broke my hd temp sensor though... so the fan was running at like 5000 rpm.... i got fancontrol and went to the terminal and found out the correct command to set the hd fan to MAX speed of 3500...

    everything is working good now...

    My iphone was charging and then when i looked at my phone it said this charging is not supported with this accessory. When i plugged it into my macbook it still recgonized the phone but wont charge. Why is it all of a sudden not working. the cord isnt bent or damaged and it was working just fine.

    Try another cable, it could just be that now that cable is faulty.

    If you are using the iphone as designed then you should lose very little or nothing.
    You should be syncing contacts with your computer regularly, so all of your contacts should be on your computer and you can sync them back.
    You should be importing all pics taken with the iphone to your computer regularly as you would with any digital camera, most especially before any attempt to update.
    You should be transferring all purchases made on your iphone to your computer: File>Devices>Transfer Purchases

    Hi you guys,four days ago my FT and iMessage worked well on my iPhone 5 IOS6.1.3,but my phone Number did not in the caller ID loop,so I turned both of them off,when I wanted to turn it on again,but failed,I tried so many times,but make no difference,It shows me"waiting for activation".Then I found the solution on internet,and you know there are many possible solutions,just like:
    1.change the wifi DNS to 8.8.8.8,8.8.4.4.and you must turn your cellular ON.
    2.restore the phone setting.Settings>>General>>reset>>all the phone setting.
    3.restore the network setting.Setting>>General>>reset>>the network setting.
    3.reset the network.
    4.reset your Date&time.Setting>>Date&Time>>set automaticlly>>ON.
    5.change another network to activate.
    6.take out the sim card to activate.

    And today afternoon,i try to activate again,when i turn iMessage on,it activate successfully.OMG,it is really amazing.and the same to my Facetime.
    I am so exciting and strange how it happen...
    I followed all the setting above 1.2.3.4.5.6,the only difference is i turned the "enable 3G" OFF(Settings>>General>>Cellular Data>>Enable 3G>>OFF),but it keep ON before now.
    seriously,i am not sure if the "enable 3G"causes this problem,but it really happened to me,so you guys can try if you have the same problem,

    For your work email, do you use a well known server or do you use their own server? Their server IMAP and SMTP addresses might of changed or you entered them in wrong. It might be something with your router but unless you blocked every incoming connection, then it should work. I would talk to your tech guys at work to see if it is on their end.

    The backup disk image "/Volumes/Data/Linda's Computer 1.sparsebundle" could not be created (error 22).
    I tried resetting the Time Capsule and connecting with an ethernet cable, although the Ariport Utility says everything is working fine through WiFi.

    If the light will not turn on the TC is dead. No matter that the hard disk is running.. it should only run at start up or when it is accessed not constantly.. that means the board in the TC has failed. Apple do not repair them.. They will replace it under warranty or applecare.
    If you have gone over the 12month warranty it will still be covered if you have applecare on any computer or an Apple TV. In fact the cost of the apple TV plus apple care is still cheaper than buying a new TC.. so it is a route some people are taking.. certainly depends.. in some places like Europe or Australia now, there is a recognition that statutory warranty must be longer on a product that is premium to the market. 12months is not good enough. Apple will sometimes listen.
    They might be fixable but I do not know how.
