HT1725 My Itunes has downloaded my album but I only have 8 songs, I should have 10
Itunes looks like it has downloaded the whole album I purchased but when I go into my library, I only have 8 songs in there when there should be 10!
Does the Store > Check For Available Downloads menu option on your computer's iTunes download those two tracks, or dow they show under the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes for downloading (music won't show as a category there in all countries) ?
If not then try the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support (these are user-to-user forums) : http://reportaproblem.apple.com
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work then you can try contacting iTunes Support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

I downloaded an album but one of the songs is corrupted, it only plays for about 4 seconds. When I try to re-download using the iTunes Store and "Purchased", it won't give me the option to download it again. How can I get the song I PAID for!!??
Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting that track from your iTunes library and redownload it via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if it re-downloads in the same state then try the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support : http://reportaproblem.apple.com

I have purchased and downloaded an album, but some of the songs did not download correctly as the songs are not complete. How do I redownload them without purchasing the album again.
If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the track and try redownloading fresh copies.
Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the items that are not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the items, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items.
(Not entirely sure what happens after you click that link, but fingers crossed it should be relatively straightforward.) -

I downloaded an album but some of the songs won't play - says my computer isn't authorized to play the song. I checked the authorization, and this computer is authorized. How do I fix this?
If just some of the tracks on the album are doing that, that suggests those tracks are damaged.
If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the dodgy tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:

If you have a US-address credit card, you could use it to set up a new account, but you'll runs into all sorts of other problems. -
I've purchased an entire album but some of the songs stop playing midway through. How can I rectify this?
Welcome to the Apple Community.
Try deleting the problematic file (electing to remove original file if/when prompted) and then re-downloading the file from the iTunes store.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option at the bottom of the screen of the iTunes app (or video app) on your iOS device.
If the problem re-occurs, select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History using your computer. -
I purchased a complete album, but most songs are only about a minute in duration rather than their actual lengths. The times showing indicate the full song was downloaded, but in reality, its like listening to a sample. I want to get entire songs, but the itunes list shows it as downloaded, so it does not seem to give me the option to download again. I sure would like to get what I paid for. Any suggestions?

HT204406 I have downloaded soe albums but some of the songs do not play. Help!
I downloaded 5 albums on my iPhone which work fine. When I downloaded them onto my PC, several of the tracls across all of the albums don't appera to have downloaded correctly. The file size is correct but there is no sound. Also when I try to create an mp3 version to play in the car, I get the failure message: Error occured while converting the file "track name". An Unknown error occured (-3).
I've tried the apple help but its terrible and absolutely useless! And there isn't a **** email where I can ask for some support!
Please help.Delete the tracks from the iTunes library, allowing iTunes to move the track files to the Trash. Then download the tracks again from the iTunes Store via this procedure:
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519
That fixes the problem for many people. If problems with the tracks persist, go here:
iTunes Support
and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store.

I downloaded an album, but it only shows up in the purchased playlist section
So I downloaded an album from iTunes and when I search my library it comes up as I'm typing it in, but when I hit enter to pull it up there is nothing. I doesn't exist under Albums, Artists only in the Purchased Playlist
I have a Smartplay list called "Recently Added", created by a list of the last 25 items most recently added.
I sometime find things I've purchased or copied in there.
If it is not there,
Choose, “iTunes Store” on the left.
Choose “Purchased” on the right.
Choose, “All Songs” or a specific album.
Choose your previous purchase

Today I bought an album on itunes. But when I listened to it a handful of the songs weren't all there. it would play to a certain point then skip to the next song.
Assuming you are in a region where you are allowed to redownload your past music purchases, delete the broken tracks from your iTunes library, go to the iTunes Store home page, click the Purchased link from the Quick Links section in the right-hand column, then select Music and Not on this computer. You should find download links for your tracks there.
If you don't see them straight away it may help to close and restart iTunes.
While downloading select Downloads in the left-hand column and make sure Allow Simultaneous Downloads is unticked.
If the problem persists, or that facility is not yet available in your region, contact the iTunes Store support staff through the report a problem links in your account history, or via Contact Support.

Like I said, I had well over 100 albums on my computer. These were all imports from physical albums, some of which I don't have anymore. I updated iTunes this morning and now I have 5 albums. I've tried rolling iTunes back to a saved point, but it didn't put anything back in and now that restore point is gone. I thouht I could just search for the albums on my computer and re-import them, but they seem to be wiped from the entire computer. What the heck? Is there any way to get them back?
See this older post from another forum member Zevoneer covering the different methods and software available to assist you with the task of copying content from your iPod back to your PC and into iTunes.

I downloaded an album, but one of the songs cuts off a few bars in. Do I need to reload that song/that album and how do I do that? Also, how do I take songs out of my library and "park" them somewhere in case I want to put them back in? Right now I'm just really sick of some songs.
