HT1766 I have videos coming into my messageing and they are coming in blank. It says there is a video however when I try to play the video the screen is black? any suggestions
How do I get videos to paly that arrive in my text message as a MMS. Currently the videos are coming in with just the arrow on top of the video, but when i try to paly them the screen is black only sound.
The video file size is too long (big)

Oh, and I'm not sure how relevant or necessary this information is, but the iTunes store on my computer doesn't work either, which led me to buy the music on my phone. I try to open it and the top says "Accessing iTunes Store..." and never gets past like a little bit less than half. I looked at some other discussions but none of the suggested solutions worked.

If you restored to factory settings/new iPod and still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem.

When I try to play a video on my iPad that I purchased from iTunes, I keep getting a message saying I do not have permission to access the requested resource...why?
I experinced this when I tried to watch a YouTube video. What I did was restart the iPad and it should work. If it does not work, try doing hard reset, by holding the home and wake/sleep button, ignore the red slider, until the apple logo appears.

from what I read on the discussion boards there seems to be little or nothing to do that may not mess up the computer (Like jerky videos if Quicktime fix is tried) except wait for Apple to do a proper fix with updates at this point. I am not willing to try the fixes explained so far. The reviews of them are spotty on them working if at all. My I Tunes works on everything but the videos and that is better than nothing which did happen at first. So I will keep watching for any other fixes that might be promising or an Apple Update.

I have a iphone 5 and I can login with my apple id to purchase music. However, when I try to login into icloud using the very same username and password that I use in the apple store it does not work to enter icloud, so what what gives???
I could do that, however when I select the icloud button (or whatever the heck it is) I am asked to enter the apple id and password. So if you are suppose to create another one for icloud you'd think it would give you the option at this point which would be logical.

Did you copy the songs directly from a CD or did you download the files from a website?
You can use a different player than the Windows Media Player to play the songs if you copied them from a CD to avoid that. -
I recently purchased a 7th Gen iPod nano which I have downloaded my music to. However, when I try to play this it is showing on the iPod as play but I am getting no sound through. I have checked the headphones and reset it. Any ideas?
Haha I had the exact same problem. Once I had tried it like 4 different pairs of headphones i was ready to give my iPod back. Then I tried pushing the headphones in further and proceeded to kick myself. I seems a lot of people have the same problem, post it on here and realise a few minutes later.

(OSStatus error -54.) when I try to play a video in iphoto
I get this error message when I try to play my video " the operation could't be completed, (OSStatus error-54). I am sorting out my albums and was putting all my videos on on cd, There are about 10 that won't play or get transferred to the cd, Our they just blanks or are there anything on them? These are all done on a 2012 MacBook Pro 15",and updated to the latest OS X 10.10 , Same with iPhoto. Ia it because the speed of the ones left behind is to high. and I need a DVD instead of a CD?. If you have Perian and 3ivx, these could be the ones guilty of the error. I had the same problem so I installed 3ivx and Perian. I'll install Perian again to test if it works, but I won't place 3ivx on my Mac again. This link helped http://forums.cocoaforge.com/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=23502

When using my MAC desktop, when I try to play a video on the Apple Homepage I just get a spinning wheel and it says "missing plug-in". What's the issue?
Yep. I installed Lion this morning. Open Mail. All is good. Went to video on the Apple's homepage and my whole computer froze up. I couldn't even shut down the computer properly. I just had to shut it off and restart. :|
Although, no "missing plug in" prompts were coming up for me. Just a frozen (brand new) iMac. -
When I try to play some of the songs in my itunes library, I get a prompt saying the file cannot be used. When I hit the locate button, the file cannot be found. I didn't delete any songs/files and there is no common link between the missing songs.
