hi i was user of iphone4 since 3 years thats awsome experience but i bought iphone 5 <used> all well but for first time i have noticed that my fone didnt show contacts name even those are feed in my fone they perfectly show in phone book all of them are local numbers i tried many thing even i upgrade my iphone to ios7 but the problem is still there,i drop my fone in home and start to use my nolder iphone 4,could some one help that issue???
Did you get this fixed? I went from 4s to 5s and now iPhone 6. I kept my original Kia 30 pin connector cable and bought a 30 pin to lightning adaptor (the one-inch square thingie). Unfortunately it would not connect with my iphone 5s case getting in the way of the connector site, but I was able to shave off the extra plastic and make it work. Because the original Kia cable connects to both the audio and the USB, the adaptor works great. Don't use the non-Kia USB-lightning cable, it is missing the audio connector that the Kia original cable has; I'm wondering if that is the issue for you. I am able to get my phone calls as well as my music through the car. By the way, I never use the Kia dashboard controls; they're horrible.

I am also having problems with a site I am building. No matter what websafe font I use it displays as New Times Roman in FireFox. The correct fonts show in both IE9 and Chrome.
In addition, text shifts in FireFox. I have to position other text objects farther and farther apart as I go down the page or they start to overlap. Nav buttons and other images also have to be positioned in the wrong place for them to be in the correct place when the page is opened in FireFox. FireFox should display pages correctly by default. I can't expect th average user to have to tweek his/her settings to display my site.
I have been recommending FireFox on my website as the best browser. I might have to change that and abandon FireFox myself. -
can i use a 2nd iphone if i install itunes on another user account.when i tried to create a second library i messed up both phones, the second one now has all my contacts and when it sends txts it either says its my other phone or email address. i can cope with the first phone and getting it back on itunes but dont want to syn the 2nd phone until i know it is independant of the other one. Does it matter that both phones use the same itunes store account?
Deleting the account on your phone only removes if from your phone. The account and it's data remain intact and doing so will not effect your daughter's phone.
To do this, first go to Settings>iCloud on your phone and turn any synced data (contacts, calendars, etc.) to Off, and when prompted, choose to keep the data on the phone. When finished, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. Then set up a new iCloud account with a different Apple ID and turn any data you want to sync with iCloud (contact, calendars, etc.) back to On. This will upload your data to your new iCloud account. -
I recently got the new iPhone 5c I used icloud to back everything up from my 4s to my new 5c. Now, I keep getting a pop up that says Continue Restoring? (This iPhone has not been backed uprecently because it has not finished being restored. Would you like to finish downloading any remaining purchases and media before backing up, or delete them along with any app date?)
I seleted to finish downloading because I didn't want to lose anything. It still will not finish downloading and I have tried this several times.

This message is displayed if your iOS device has been trying to complete a restore for more than three days. This can occur if your restore has been interrupted due to network connectivity issues or some other problem occurs.

My iPhone has not backed up to iCloud in 44 weeks. But yet, when I went to iCloud.com all my new contacts were updated, but I noticed my PhotoStream did not appear on the Home screen. When I try to update on my iPhone it says the next backup is too large (I only have my contacts and photos saved to iCloud). I have about 500 photos, and I know people with over 1,000 photos whose phones get backed up with the free 5GB just like me. Can anyone tell me what is wrong and how I can fix this problem so I can backup my photos?

My iPhone has not backed up to iCloud in 44 weeks.
This seems to be because you don't have enough room, have you been to settings > iCloud > Storage & Back Up > Manage.... and looked up what is taking up the room and how big your next back would be.
I noticed my PhotoStream did not appear on the Home screen
Photo Stream isn't one of the features of iCloud.com -
E52 not showing contacts name in inbox
Hi,
iam facing this problem of my e52 not showing contacts names in inbox.
Some of the contacts name are shown, those which was originally in my phone memory.
because i do a lot of trading, i constantly adds new numbers to my contacts from the sms they sent. But the main problem is here is even after i added their contact giving them names, the names doesnt show up in inbox, its still just numbers.
desperately need help for this. how can a business phone have this kind of problem?

Go to Solution.This happens to me too when I store the number under two names, or the synchronization creates double entries, for example:
Two names:
1234 Anna
1234 Bea
Double entries
1234 Anna
1234 Anna
When the text message comes in, there's no name. But you can send a message either to Anna or Bea and the message outbox shows the proper name.
The solution is to delete one entry or merge the duplicate contacts.

Suddenly my phone has stopped displaying my contacts names when I receive a message from them and just a number appears instead?
This happened to me and I was baffled for a bit. I went to my contact list and that contact (that was now a number) had disappeared. Then, multiple contacts started disappearing. Subsequently, they reappeared but in duplicate and sometimes triplicate. I believe that it had something to do with iCloud sync. I ended up removing the contacts (in settings) and then bringing them back in. Everything seemed to work after that.

You should only need a SIM in it to actually activate it in iTunes. Once activated, leave the SIM in or remove it, it should not matter.
Then, turn on airplane mode. And then, go into wifi settings and re-enable wifi (this leaves the cellular radio in airplane mode = powered off).
Now your iPhone is effectively no more than a (wifi only) iPod Touch. -

I went to calendar app. And the tapped calendar , and pulled the screen to refresh it.
Thereafter the synch is in terms of the sequence of my list as well.
Now any change in the sequence of cards on the iPhone is followed by the same on the iPad , via the cloud ,!! -

ThanksTurn off your phone by pressing and holding the power button and then swipe right to turn it off. Then turn it on and try connecting it to your phone. Make sure both the itunes and your iphones are signed in with the same apple id.

This may be an error caused by the update. You can try to sync your contact information with iCloud and backup the rest of your data and then restore the device and see if it starts to work normally again.
