HT1923 I had Windows 7 and Itunes recognized my Ipod Touch with no issues. Now that I've upgraded to Windows 8 I can't get my Ipod Touch to be recognized by Itunes. Any suggestions?
I can't seem to get my Ipod touch to be recognized by Itunes now that I'm using my new upgraded Windows 8 Pro. Has anyone else experienced this problem and do you have a solution?

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I used the wrong password to join my new belkin wifi. Now that I have the correct password, I can not get the to the join screen with the space to type in the password. I continue to get the unable to join message. I have put the touch to sleep and I have turned on and off the wifi and join options on the Network screen page. Does anyone know how to get pass this block of the wrong password to a new page that will allow me to type in the correct password. I see there is a option that asks if I want to reset the network settings.. is that what I should do? and what does it erase when I do that? Thanks for any input anyone has.
Yes. Reset network settings. Head to Settings -> General -> Reset and tap Reset Network Settings.

After 2.3 update I can't get 3G to come on or stay one. Any suggestions ?
I noticed that since the 2.3 update that I can't seem to get 3G to activate. I do have data roaming on.
Sometimes when I turn off wifi the 3G symbol flashes, but it goes away quickly.
This happens regardless of location, but I am testing it at home where I did have 3G coverage in the past. So I expect it to work.
Any suggestions?

I did the *228 - 2 option a few days ago without an issues. Now when I try *228 it fails to dial and tells me to contact customer service. Hard to do without a working phone.
**bleep** at VZ and Moto need to do a better job with software updates. Between these issues and the new data plans i will be willing to go elsewhere when the contact is up.
Going to reboot phone and see if that helps.

Thanks. Actually, after I posted this question, I figured out what I had to do (of course. Isn't that the way it always works. ;-) I cleared the cache and that fixed the problem. That caused the site to check my location again and now I'm getting the U.S. site.

How can I get Final Cut ProX to recognize my Canon Vixia HV30 camera?
Does your Mac have a FW 800 port? If it does, use a 4 pin to 9 pin connection. If you have only Thunderbolt, use a FW>Tb adaptor. Either way, your Mac should see the camera. If it does, so will FCP.

I have a 32gb ipad 2. I dropped it about half an hour ago. When I sit at my router, I get full bars of connection. Every step I take away from my (BT) router my connection rapidly decreases, until about 3 metres away, the connection cuts out completely. In my settings, my router icon only appears when I'm directly in front of my router. Should I take it to the Genius Bar? Please help! My iPod will not synch photo now that I have upgraded to iTunes 10
I recently upgraded to iTunes 10. Ever since, my 80GB iPod classic will no longer synch with my Photo Library. It synches everthing else fine, but it will not synch photos. Does anybody know a fix for this?
Change your itunes settinng from automatic mange music to manually manage music.
1. Go to your photo tab in itunes
2. Tick on sync photo from specified pth from your computer
3. press the sync button

I am using Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS.I've never had this problem before... today I opened iTunes and it prompted me to download the newest version. I use iTunes all the time and have updated it multiple times with no issues. During the installation process it gave me an error message that said:

I quit the installation, uninstalled iTunes and rebooted my computer. I now receive a similar message with a slight difference:

I did not leave anything out from the error message. It doesn't point to a specific file, it just ends with "(x86)..." Every time I boot up my computer, this error message pops up on my desktop.
How do I repair this issue? I have found multiple suggested solutions but am unsure which one is the best, and I don't want to try a bunch of different things for fear I may make the problem worse. I would like to try and fix this myself if possible but I need to know if that is really possible or if I need to take my computer to someone for repairs. I can't get my iphone to appear under devices within itunes, my iphone appears as my ipod under devices therefore I am unable to sync my music etc onto my iphone. any suggestions???
iPhone 4S and Windows XP the first thing that jumps to mind is that the iPhone 4S needs a USB 2.0 connection to sync with iTunes. Check your computers user guide to see if the PC has a compatable USB 2.0 input.

I had my iTunes set up to play music through my receiver & speakers upstairs. I have airport with RCA plug ins to my receiver auxiliary jacks. Homesharing is on & everything checks out but it no longer works. Any suggestions? I have no firewall & I have removed Smith clean program to fix this issue. I am running OS 10.8.2
I called AppleCare this morning and Sean helped me out in a huge way. In all of my attempts, I had not done a factory-default reset on the main base station and apparently some sort of endless loop had occurred between those two stations. Sean was very helpful and patient with me, but now the system is working as promised. Moral of this story is if a factory default rest doesn't help on the "problem" base station, try resetting all of the units.

my kids set up itune account on my computer years ago and no one remembers the password. They started new accounts on their macs. I want to start my own itunes account, but I would like to get some of the music off this account. Any suggestions?
The easiest way would probably be to recover the data of the old account and change it to match your current info, after that you can continue to use the account without any problems. To recover your account go to: Apple - My Apple ID
Alternatively if you want to start a new account do it and then contact iTunes support to see if the y can transfer your purchases (I know of cases on which they have done it) -

Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 n above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

I just switch from a Windows 8 machine to a MacPro and when I try and sync my iPhone 5s for the first time it says that sync will erase everything on my phone because it is still synced to my old computer. Any suggestions?
