Do you mean the Remote app?
This app requires both devices be connected to the same Wi-Fi network, are they?

No, it does not. It transfers purchases from the iDevice to the computer. The computer must be authorized for the Apple ID that the content was acquired with.

When you set up your ipad did you or your husband also set up a rescue e-mail address for you? If so, that would be why he received the instructions. Or do you sync your ipad with his computer?
Actually in terms of it being a problem, it actually makes it easier for you to answer your security questions and follow the instuctions to get back on your ipad. Otherwise, you'll have to call Apple Support.

I imagine a ton of people are attempting to activate after the update, and the server is getting overloaded. Simple patience, maybe keep trying, and if possible, try a little later. Think of it as all those people lining up at Apple Stores + about a million more.

If after you charge it for about three hours and it only last about five minutes the battery is probably dead or there could be another hardware problem. I would go back to the Apple store and ask them specifically how can it be OK if the fully charged battery only lasts five minutes.

MY iPhone 5 keeps blocking incoming phone calls with a message "call blocked" there is no addition information on who/what is being blocked or why. If a user has blocked their caller ID there's nothing you can do but either answer the call or don't.

I bought an iwork family pack in Feb 2012 online and can not find a link to download it so that I can put my serial number to install it. Anyone can provide one? I tried at the apple site but couldnt find anything that was not the individual applications

Thanks for your reply. My bad. I meant Macbook Pro (Not powermac). I still have the receipt and the email from the apple store. The total price was $99 as you can see below on the screenshot of the email. I changed the order number just in case. Anyway. After installation the new version 2.0.1.4120 Firefox does not run any more; does not accept any key, but is waiting for a confirmation!

Restart iPhone: Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the home button together until the apple logo appears (ignore the ON/OFF slider) then let both buttons go and wait for phone to restart (no data will be lost).
