HT201210 iTunes keeps telling me I need to delete the backup for my iPod or something because it's corrupt before I can update and re-backup my iPod. How do I do this?

It's all in the title.

Then delete the backup. Go to iTunes>Preferences>Devices and select the backup and click on Delete.
