My Ipad is locked with a message This IPAD hasn't been backed up in 2 weeks. Backups happen when this IPAD is plugged in, locked, and connected to Wifi. I have connected to wifi and the error message remains.  Cannot power off because screen is locked

Hold the Sleep/Wake and Home button down together until you see the Apple Logo.
Note: You must hold both buttons down together.
