Will the app run on iPhone3GS. Some of the newer apps require IOS 5 or later. This info should be displayed witht the app in itunes store

Whilst downloading a movie, my iPhone ran out of charge. Since recharging the "processing" bar has frozen. How can I delete or complete the download?
I called Apple and spoke with a customer service representative regarding this issue. I was given the two things to try, and if they don't work, I was told I can call back in:
1. Go to iCloud.com and look at the advanced options. Since Photos can be deleted here, the representative thought there may be an option to remove songs here as well.
2. Go into the library that has the songs that were deleted and click Update iTunes match.
I tried #1--this didn't resolve the issue, as there is no option to remove songs this way. I can't try #2 right now since I'm at work, but if anybody else with this issue can try that step it can help us get the ball rolling on it. After I try that, I'll call Apple back to discuss this further. -
Updated my iPhone 3gs yesterday to ios 6 (first time ever). Backed up my content to icloud, but it wouldn't quit. Remained on that screen for HOURS. Finally disconnected phone from computer. Still would not go away--just the "circle of death." Restarted phone and lost EVERYTHING (pics, contacts and apps). Can I get them back? Are they somewhere out in cyberspace or lost for good?
You're not alone. I am having similar problems with my Ipod 5th gen 30gb.
When I connect it to my laptop (Vista - basic) it is not recognised by itunes. Itunes simply locks up.
So far I have tried the following to no avail:
Checked my pc's device manager - it recognises the device and says it is functioning properly.
Checked the drivers to make sure they are upt to date.
Uninstalled & reinstalled a previous version of itunes (as it worked fine before the latest release).
Reinstalled the latest itunes.
Reset the ipod.
Put the ipod into disk mode and reconnected to itunes.
Have tried to use the windows tool to scan and fix any bad sectors but it fails to complete a scan without locking that up as well.
Placed into disk mode when fully charged and then allowed the battery to drain completely. Then reconnected ipod (in disk mode)and it still is not recognised and locks up itunes.
At this point I dont really want to part with another $300 odd dollars for a new one. -
Recently downloaded, syncced iphone 3gs, restore complete. Iphone now frozen.

Press continue.; Enable Location Services, press next; choose a netgwork, press next; Your apple ID is used to set up ICloud, App store, iTunes Store, and more on your iPhone Sign with an Apple ID. Seems the iphone is frozen and won't respond. it is nothing to do with iOS 8 or any other iPhone issues
The servers are not available regardless of the method used to access Mac Windows PC etc etc

The Issue Is Majorly Caused When Any Effect Is Applied On The Video And Rendered The Issue Occurs. And By Closing The Application And Restarting The Application Its Works Fine Again But As Soon As The Effects Are Applied Same Problem Occurs Recursively.
What is the format of the material you are editing, is it variable frame rate?

I'm trying to add the Epicurious recipe clipper to my toolbar. It shows Epicurious recipe clipper in the tool bar but without the icon. Looks like it is not allowing me to completely add it.
The Epicurious recipe clipper is not working in general. I tried to use it once I read this and attempted to open it on two different browsers just to test it and both didn't work. Firefox is not causing Epicurious recipe clipper to not work so what I would do is contact them and tell the company that Epicurious recipe clipper is not working so they can fix it.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
You can only wipe your device when it is logged into iCloud and 'Find My Phone' is enabled, additionally the device will need to be switched on and connected to a wifi or cellular network.
Unfortunately, you cannot activate iCloud or 'Find My Phone' remotely. -

I m from south india, living at God's country called Kerala k. well , in that iphone it showing activation screen and trying to activate. not more than that..plz help!

In order to allow it to be used on a different carrier, the phone was hacked or jailbroken. An unauthorized modification was made to the phone. That modification has damaged the phone. You can not get support for it here or from Apple. -

Error 1604
This error is often related to USB timing. Try changing USB ports, using a different dock connector to USB cable, and other available USB troubleshooting steps (troubleshooting USB connections. If you are using a dock, bypass it and connect directly to the white Apple USB dock connector cable. If the issue persists on a known-good computer, the device may need service.
If the issue is not resolved by USB isolation troubleshooting, and another computer is not available, try these steps to resolve the issue:
Connect the device to iTunes, confirm that the device is in Recovery Mode. If it's not in Recovery Mode,put it into Recovery Mode.
Restore and wait for the error.
When prompted, click OK.
Close and reopen iTunes while the device remains connected.
The device should now be recognized in Recovery Mode again.
Try to restore again.
If the steps above do not resolve the issue, try restoring using a known-good USB cable, computer, and network connection.
