Where are you looking on your iPad for the shows? In iTunes? If so, look under Videos.

I just bought splashtop, you have to have your home computer online,and download the pc version. I have used it ot watch movies and to "go to work" on my ipad. It controls the desktop through the ipad. Whiteboard by splashtop does that and more and is on sale. The education director at the hospital I work at is using that one.

If the apps are not on your computer's iTunes (did you do File > Transfer Purchases prior to starting the update ?), then you could try downloading them to your computer (re-downloading) and then restoring to your backup and see if that restores them and their settings/content - a backup doesn't contain the actual apps, just their content/settings, so for the restore to work fully iTunes needs access to the apps so that it can restore them.

i had to change my apple id, i did it on itunes through my account settings, but for some reason it didnt carry over onto my ipad, its still using my old id, and i cant get the new one onto the ipad. i cant find anyway to change the id on the ipad.

i did that and i am able to log in on my computer under the new id, its the ipad that will not change to the new id i created, it still has the old id and there is no place to change it on the ipad.
on my ipad, it still shows the old apple id. lets say it shows the old id as [email protected] and now the new id is [email protected]@hotmail.comm.
the computer shows newid@[email protected] and i can log in and use on the computer, but the ipad is still showing [email protected]
now what i need to do, is get the new id on the ipad so i can download and use the app store.
i went through all the steps on the computer, confirmed with new email that was sent for the new id

Fire up I photo on the Mac. Plug the pad in. ( make sure you are not automatically syncing to I tunes. ). On the left pane in I photo the pad will show up as a device. Click on it and it should show all new pictures on the pad. Select your video and at the top, click import selected.

I spoke to apple in February and they helped me put ove a hundred PDF files onto my ipad. When I open acrobat under the heading of documents is where all the files reside. I even made subfolders. Well, I forgot how to do it and called apple again today and they told me with the new ibook update, all pdf files get placed under ibooks. not only that, I cannot make subfolders. Their only suggestion was to get an account with acrobat and transfer them that way. I uploaded the files here, but now I cannot figure out how to get them onto my ipad. You can either select GoodReader at the bottom of the iPad's apps tab when connected to you computer's iTunes - it should appear as one apps that support file sharing (there is info on file sharing in the manual which can be downloaded from here http://support.apple.com/manuals/#ipad). Or the app itself supports wifi transfer via you wifi network - just touch the wifi symbol (next to the camera) at the bottom of the app on your iPad, and you should be given an address to use on your computer's browser so as to transfer files to/from the app.

Also check to see that iCloud is turned on in general for the phone and that you are signed in (Settings App > iCloud)

I have a new primary PC. My music Library is on an old dying laptop. I have found all my music has disappeared from my phone. Some is on the cloud, but it appears to only be the music purchased on iTunes, only about 1/3 of my collection. Have also lost all my ringtones which were a Podcast that WAS purchased through iTunes - now gone.

I did this last night, and copied all the music from old laptop onto new one. But there was still a lot of stuff missing, mainly from my own CDs that I'd ripped. Connect the iPad to your computer, launch iTunes, select your iPad name on the left side of iTunes under "devices", click on the Apps tab in the window on the right, click on the sync apps heading, click sync or apply in the lower right corner of iTunes.
After you sync the apps onto the iPad, you can choose to sync over WiFi. Click on the summary tab of iTunes and then click on the button - Sync this iPad over WiFi - then click apply in the lower right corner.
You can sync automatically with iTunes over Wifi when the iPad is plugged into a power source, iTunes is running on your computer and the iPad is locked. You can sync manually as well in Settings>General>iTunes WiFi Sync - tap the arrow and then tap sync now in the next window

Let's get to the bottom of this iCloud backup issue. Have you ever had your Facebook contacts synced to your contact list? Did this issue begin after a software updage or downloading of an application? If you go to Settings>Facebook does it show you signed into your Facebook account there?

How do i get folders to show thumbnail previews, instead of just a folder icon. Like how windows does thumbnail view.

No, you can't use the .NET code directly in DIAdem. I'm not sure what the point in suggesting it was, as it would take significant modification to be able to use similar code in DIAdem.
Have you tried using the VIEW Legends? Expand the legend for each graph and then double-click on the legend, at which point you can configure what information shows up about each curve. By default, the legend will show the Curve Name, Curve Units, X-Position (of the cursor), and Y-Position (of the cursor). Feel free to augment or contract this as needed for your preference.
After expanding each legend, switch to the Curve Cursor, and you should be able to see the Y-Position of each curve, completely synchronized.

most of my tracks on my i phone have the cloud symbol with an arrow pointing down, what does this mean and why do i have to keep re loading the track when i want to listen to it? why cant i just have the tracks i choose to listen to on my phone when i want them? i dont like this i cloud business its ***** and it cost me money to download if i not in a wi fi area!

This is a new feature in iOS 7 called iTunes in the Cloud. More information on this can be found right here:

Songs are downloaded to iPhone when you play them. You can also download songs and albums manually—while browsing, tap .
Note: When iTunes Match is on, downloaded music is automatically removed from iPhone as space is needed, starting with the oldest and least-played songs. An iCloud icon () appears next to removed songs and albums, showing that the songs and albums are still available through iCloud but not stored locally on iPhone.
You can choose to only show the songs that have been downloaded onto your phone by following these instructions:
Just show music that’s been downloaded from iCloud. Go to Settings > Music, then turn off Show All Music.
Remove iPhone from your list of “iTunes in the Cloud” devices. In iTunes on your computer, choose Store > View Account. Sign in, then click Manage Devices in the “iTunes in the Cloud” section.
Then, when you would like to re-download your purchased music, you can find it in your past purchases list:
