That is true in some limited situations, such as if you purchase a gift for someone else.
Usually, if you purchase something for yourself, it will come out of your credit balance if you have one. That also wouldn't be true if you change country in the interim.
Authorizations will be obtained using your credit card from the Apple Store, but those are not charges.

Connect the camera to the computer with a USB cable and use the camera as the card reader. Make sure the camera is in playback mode.

I rented a movie on my mini iPad from iTunes. There is a blank box in the video folder and no download button. When I press the box the movie comes up but won't download. There is usually a download button at the bottom of the screen but is not there. Any suggestions?

My Macbook Air says I have movies but I don't
I have looked at all the replies to this question (many people have the same problem) and none has taken me close to a resolution. The Spotlight index option simply doesn't word as described. OmniDiskSweeper finds small residual amounts of 'movie' but insignificant. i have looked under user and applications and am satisfied that there is nothing there. Meanwhile the computer keeps waring startup disk full and I cannot use it. This is a nightmare. This little box of tricks is almost unusable.

You should be able to start up in Safe Mode to clean the excess off of your hard drive and make your macbook usable again OS X: What is Safe Boot, Safe Mode? -

What you can redownload will depend upon what country that you are in (not all content types can be redownloaded in all countries) and whether they are still in your country's store (content providers occasionally remove their items from sale) - if you go into the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your computer's iTunes you should see what you can re-download :

I downloaded tv series from my backup on the cloud. It says on the cloud that they are downloaded but they do not show up on my iPad. What gives?
I can redownload it, and I can watch it as it is downloading, but I can only do it one-at-a-time. I hope someone can answer this. It is a serious pain. My internet is slow at home, but fast at work. I like to do my downloading at the office.

MP4 in HTML5 -- playbar moves, but no video

I have Captivate 6.0.1.240 (64-bit) installed on a Win 7 system. I have inserted MP4 video in Captivate 6 using the Insert Video > Multi-Screen Synchronized Video > Progressive Download method and published as HTML5. When I play it on Safari 5.1.7 browser, the playbar moves, but I don't see the video on screen.
The output plays fine in the Google Chrome v24. However, I might have some users on Macbook using Safari. So, I need to ensure that it works.
As of now, I am testing it on my local system. Once things work fine here, I will be uploading to our LMS.
What am I missing here?
SreekanthTubesock had a bug in their software which was allowing it to create invalid MPEG-4 files. The latest version of QuickTime will no longer play these invalid files, so if you just recently upgraded, that's your problem.
The fix is easy, though. The developers of iSquint have released a Debreaker application that you get for free with the download of the free iSqint (it's all free is what I'm saying Download that app and use the Debreaker to fix your files, and you should be set.

for itunes 11: movie that are not purchased via itunes are now loaded into and catagorized as "home videos". I want all of my movies in one spot under Movies as they always were. How can i tweak/resolve this?

Since up grading to the new OS Lion basicly problem free except my iPhone iPod and iPad all give me sync issues they load apps , music , books , movies , but refuse photos and the sync ends with an error 50 message most times , yes I have re booted reinstalled new i Tunes and all my others help ! I have update every thing I can re installed , no other issues apart from Parallels and windows which I have deleted and will reisnstall and up date when I get my discs back moving house so in storage boxes somewhere ? , but who needs Windows ? is any one else suffering , or have any solutions

Currently my desktop is not connecting at all, Everytime I connect, it's states "We have now logged you out" and requests I login again.
I have of course rebooted,
Gone into taskmanager, killed all the relevant threads, tried again to login through the desktop, no luck, I'll have to uninstall it, make sure the threads are killed, then reboot it and then reinstall it, but I've not had the time to do that.
On another note, and just as a point of reference, myself, personally, I hate these "cloud" file repositories (not to be confused with adobe cloud services which I love) but the file repositories themselves imho, are a blackhole of resource usage when one doesn't/isn't using them,
Is there a way we can use it more of a "ftp" sort of thing, when I want to I can put files there? There is no way to "Download" the repository, no way to download the folders.. only individual files and then it takes I think three different steps before the download starts.. I find this very inhibiting. Just an fyi. for what it's worth.

Suddenly, a month or so ago, every single time I open a new page, Mozilla opens a pop-up window. Yes, I have clicked on Tools, etc and set my settings to block ALL pop-ups. Yet, Mozilla has decided to circumvent this setting. If this situation is not handled within a week or two, I shall find and begin using another browser (not that anyone really cares).
