At this point your data is already gone. YOu will have to proceed with the restore. However if you backup on a regular basis, once the restore is done, you will have the option to restore from itunes or icloud.
If you don't have a backup, then sorry you won't be able to restore your data back.

Have you tried resetting the device (nothing will be lost): Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Apple appears (up to 30 seconds). Once the Home screen redisplays, see if your Music app is behaving normally.

This is bad news, but you will have to be patient in this case.
Since day before yesterday iPhoto is no longer sold by Apple, so it does not show at the App Store. You should still be able to update iPhoto to version 9.6.1 from the Updates page of the AppStore, but the is not always offering the download. Try regularly; Apple Support promised that the update will be available again soon.

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (Later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.

Should you get the error iTunes.exe - Entry Point Not Found after the above reinstall then copy QTMovieWin.dll from:

The above paths would be for a 64-bit machine. Hopefully the same fix with the " (x86)" omitted would work on 32-bit systems with the same error.

I have been battling against the same issue for over 2 weeks now. After tracing what was happening on the machine to find that the crashes we're happening slightly after Apple's program we're identifying the Time Zone of the computer, I had the idea of checking the date/time properties of my Windows XP machine.
I unchecked the box to update the time from a time server (Internet time) and it's seem that this was what was causing itunes and its descendant to crash.
Now it seems it turned back to normal operation.
Please let me know if this fixes it for you as well.

Sounds like you have a phone that was hacked to unlock it. Updating has re-locked it to the original carrier. ONLY the carrier it is locked to can authorize unlocking it. Contact them.

If Apple's service database says that your iPhone was replaced, then Apple will no longer provide any service for that phone.
First, get a new SIM from your cell carrier and see if that corrects the problem. If it does not, try the usual steps for addressing software problems: restart, reset, restore.

If you try restoring from a backup and that doesn't fix the problem, try restoring to factory settings and, if the problem goes away, then sync back your apps and content. Swipe upwards from the bottom of the screen to open Control Center. You will then find the orientation lock in the top row, last icon on the right. White is on, black is off. Tap and turn it off. If you see the lock symbol, then orientation lock is on, and that is what is keeping it in the portrait mode.

Yes. You will lose everything that is not on your computer.
You should be syncing to your computer regularly, so most everything should be there.

My iPhone was accidentally locked down with "Find my iPhone" by the previous owner while I was recording a interview for my exams.I already contacted the previous owner, who said that he dealeted my phone device from his "find my iphone" app. The Iphone also inform that my sim-card is locked and asks for the pin-code. But it is not showing the telephones keypad.
Is it still possible to get the recorded file or is it deleted now that my phone is locked?

What you need to do is dependent on what is wrong with it. If the screen broke, or you have reason to believe that other hardware damage occurred due either to the fall or it getting wet, then you will need to take or send the iPhone for service. Apple does not repair iPhones, but will replace the entire iPhone for a flat fee; see the Repair Pricing section here:

Unfortunately, you cannot do very much with your phone unless you get assistance from the previous owner, they should either provide you with the password to unlock it or remove their account from the phone entirely remotely through iCloud.com > Find My Phone.
