HT201441 iTunes is requesting to activate my iphone through an apple ID, which apparently isn't mine, after working perfectly. I hardly found the guy that i bought the device from, and he cold blooded tells me that he no longer uses that ID?!?!?!
I mean do you Apple guys ever thought that this might happen?...that economically we're weak, that people sell their own phones to do something?...ever thought what can happen to us that buy from them?....that they might be irresponsible and just cold blooded tell you that they no longer use their Apple ID and forgot them?...i've asked a lot through mobile shops, they didn't had any accurate solution, until one of them asked for 100 EURO???!!....I MEAN COMMONN!!!
I'm kindly asking from you guys, do something about it, you produce we buy, i'm holding your product on my hands, but i cant use it at all, because u didnt left any option to restore it or something??

But as i see, you misunderstood my concern.
No I don’t buy and sell phones, I’m just a regular guy, that bought an iPhone from a guy that I know, which sold his phone for his reasons, which may be economical.
And so on, I kept using this phone, until I’ve decided to upgrade it to iOS7, and when the phone upgraded it’s software to newer version such as iOS7, the phone restarted, and in order to activate the device it requests it’s previous owner’s Apple ID and password, which it seems that he left in iCloud or something similar.
So what I did, I hardly found the guy that I’ve bought the phone from, and I thought I was lucky, I kindly asked him for his Apple ID, so I could activate my iPhone, and he cold blooded said to me that he forgot what kind of apple ID he was using, and even if he knew, I wouldn’t definitely remember the password he said…
And I didn’t knew what to do, so I went to the different Mobile stores to ask for the solution, no one didn’t had a clue od my concern, until one of them replied back to me and said “If you give me 100 EURO’s, I might activate your phone”
So today I’ve directed my issue to Apple Support Community, asking them if they ever imagined that something like this can happen to a regular guy like me, and if they did, I kindly request for the solution, but if they didn’t then how come a brand like Apple didn’t thought about this.

In order to download to your phone over the air, you need to be connected to WiFi.
It's possible the Internet connection through Verizon is not stable enough for the downlaod to begin (it is a very large download).
You might want to head over to Starbucks with your laptop for the afternoon and see if you can download it over their WiFi. -

That's the portrait orientation lock (keeps the screen from rotating to landscape mode). To turn it off, double-tap the home button, swipe the list at the bottom to the right, then tap the left-most icon (to the left of the music controls).

The Apple ID is right everywhere else. I've synced the phone. I've reset it in Settings on the phone. I've changed it at Apple.

Ever since I updated what looked like iTunes 10.6.1 my computer has been corrupted with Malware, which has filled up all available space on my hard drive. What do I do to get rid of the Malware?
First, reboot. That will temporarily free up some space. According to Apple documentation, you need at least 9 GB free for normal operation. You also need enough space left over to allow for growth of your data.
Use a tool such as OmniDiskSweeper to explore your volume and find out what's taking up the space.
Proceed further only if the problem hasn't been solved.
ODS can't see the whole filesystem when you run it just by double-clicking; it only sees files that you have permission to read. To really see everything, you have to run it as root.
First, back up all data if you haven't already done so. No matter what happens, you should be able to restore your system to the state it was in at the time of that backup.
Launch the Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ If you’re running Mac OS X 10.7 or later, open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the page that opens.
After installing ODS in the Applications folder, drag or copy — do not type — the following line into the Terminal window, then press return:
sudo /Applications/OmniDiskSweeper.app/Contents/MacOS/OmniDiskSweeper
You'll be prompted for your login password, which won't be displayed when you type it. You may get a one-time warning not to screw up.
I don't recommend that you make a habit of this. Don't delete anything while running ODS as root. When you're done with it, quit it and also quit Terminal. -
When will Apple ever make it convenient for the customer, I just bought an iPad Air and I'm very upset that I can only use iMessage, iPads are the biggest mistake to buy if you like texting family and friends. I'll never buy another one if I can't text using SMS or MMS. Is there any hope for a patch or new operating system to fix this issue, or an app to use with iPad Air

My computer(A toshiba) crashed and when I bought a new computer(a Mac), my previous apple ID does not word and I was only able to get songs that I bought in 2004. I am unable to authorize my account to get to songs that I purchased recently. Please help.

While this won't help if you are having password problems, I did want to point out that you do not need to access old machines to de-authorize them. Once you are signed in at the iTunes store, access "my account" by clicking on your username in the top navigation bar. Then "manage devices". You can remove any old machines that way. -

The short answer is no.
Unless you are selling the app via the Enterprise Deployment option, everyone has to download via their own iTunes account ID. Yes, iTunes can be used by multiple IDs but this makes it very messy to resolve later.
What kind of app is this? Which Expo? If an Expo for selling apps has poor Internet connection I would question the validity of using such an expo in the first place. -

The nice thing about owning this overpriced POS is that Apple not only doesn't support it, but also doesn't want to hear about anything negative regarding it. So I spoke to the so-called "support" people at Apple who successfully screwed up my contacts beyond repair. I got a nice email from Apple asking me to rate the support I got. I was actually civil and described the issue tactfully. What do I get in return? Nothing. Not a damned thing!! You're luck you've got me by the short hairs on a 2 year contract but I'm still tempted to throw this POS through the front window of the nearest Apple store!! Not only will I be replacing this phone with a competitive product but I won't be buying anymore Apple crap. I guess when you con 27 million people into believing your rhetoric and sales lies, you don't have to care whether some customers get screwed or not. I'll be going back to Verizon and threatening legal action if they don't take this electronic dung heap back but I'm sure the teams of lawyers Apple and Verizon have on staff have insured that I have no rights in this matter and you're free to screw me anytime you please. Sad. I used to love Apple as a company and your products. Now you're just another Microsoft with more trendy looking junk. I've had it with you.
