HT203128 Why can't I sign in to buy music on iTunes? The prompt doesn't process my Apple ID and password after I reset my password.

I reset my password for my Apple ID. Then go to Apple to sign in and my new password works. But, when I go to my iTunes App to purchase anything, when prompted to enter my Apple ID and password, it doesn't go through. I don't get any errors saying that I entered anything incorrectly or anything. I just get the prompt to enter my Apple ID and password over and over and over again, which does nothing but **** me off. Someone please help me!!

Same problem. I enter my password correctly, and I can't get in. but I can get into Apple Support and other login pages with the same (correct) password. Arg!

Please follow these steps in order to get it working properly again.
Please change your Apple ID back to your old email address (that you used as Apple ID before) here:http://appleid.apple.com
Then go to all your devices - iPhones, iPads, Mac etc. - ("Settings > iCloud") and delete your iCloud account from this devices (+ turn off Find My iPhone, but I guess it will ask you that anyway)
After that go back to http://appleid.apple.com sign in again, and now change your Apple ID again to your new email address.
Finally, set up your iCloud account on all your devices again.
Now, everything should working properly again.

You don't need an AppleID to access an iTunes library. An iTunes library is stored on your computer.
Default location is /Music/iTunes/ folder.

To finish the upgrade setup, can't get past the screen where you need to log in with your apple id and password. Error message appears "could not sign in" "Could not communicate with the server." Tried a reboot, but that didn't work or get us anywhere either.

Go to Settings then down to Facebook then select account then delete account and select remove info and re enter your user name and password and then it will work again

You cannot activate the phone without the password of the previos owner. I am sorry for you, but there is no other way.

Why can't I sign in to vtok, I cannot access the key pad on my iPad when I try to sign in to vtok. I was able to do it yesterday.

I am unable to log in on vtok this morning. I was able to do so till yesterday. The key pad does not pop up to type my user I'd and password.

Update: Managed to fix this by going into Settings > Safari, then under Privacy & Security i changed 'Block Cookies' from 'Always' to 'From Third parties and advertisers'
Not sure how the setting was changed from its default but yeah.
After this I was able to sign straight in with no problems!

I bought my music on iTunes and downloaded it with my other iPod. I know how a phone and when I download the music from the already purchased area it states that I can't download it anymore because I have I wait 90 days to download

Try rebooting your iPad: Press and hold BOTH the power and home buttons at the SAME time for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple Logo and then let go of both buttons and your iPad will reboot. You won't lose any settings or data. See if that stops the problem.
If it doesn't. Go to Settings > App Store Sign out of your Apple ID, then sign back in. Make sure all the information is correct.

Yes. You are being paranoid.
There is no Fcetime icon on any iphone. You turn it on in settings. Select a contact and scroll down to the facetime button in order to make a facetime call.
You cannot delete or add the app store.
It was likely on another page, in a folder or you have restrictions set.
Don't know what "can't download anything " means.

Why can't I make a purchase of music on itunes?

I just downloaded music I want from the itunes store but it won't let me purchase them. I just have a list of sound bites, not full songs!

Again, It's not up to Apple. They would love to have every track available to everyone in the world. The record companies and other rights holder are different in every country, though, so they require separate negotiation by Apple for the rights in each country. And since the rights are held separately in different countries, they all restrict Apple (and every other legal download store) to selling only to users within that particular country.
So again, Apple can do nothing to change this unless and until the record companies arrive at a cross-border sales agreement, something I don't see happening anytime in the foreseeable future, even within the EU.

Why can't I get an icon for auto complete in the toolbar? I installed it 3 times and still NOTHING! Grrrrrrrrrr

ok so I installed auto complete "3" times, read and did everything FF said and STILL can't get the darn icon to show in the toolbar and don't know where else to look for it or what else to do. At this rate I may return to IE exclusively, although it is very slow, at least it works.

Which extension was it exactly?
Normally any extensions that provide one or more toolbar icons are found in the Customize window.
Right-click on an empty section of the Tab bar or a tolbar, select Customize... and the Customize Toolbar window will open. Then drag the toolbar icon to a toolbar and then click [Done].
