are running into a new security feature. Whoever owns
the ID that it is asking for is the only person who can
remove the security. That iPhone is worthless to you.

Just got a new iPhone 6, selling my 5 to Amazon. Trying to follow Apple instructions to erase content before sending but 5 will not connect to iCloud so I can't proceed - when promoted to enter password I keep getting "Verification failed. every once in a while my iPhone 5 fails to recognize my Apple ID. I don't have to go all the way to Restore to Factory Settings, I just have to turn off the phone. (Hold down top button until screen asks to slide if you want to turn it off.) Give it a few seconds, turn it on again. -

I updated my Apple TV and now it will not connect to iTunes but it will connect and play Netflix. I have restarted Apple TV and checked wifi connection.
1. First you should try logging out of your iTunes Store account (settings > iTunes Store > accounts) and then back in again.
2. If that doesn't help, try resetting the Apple TV (Settings > General > Reset > Reset all settings).You should also try restarting your router.
3. If both of the above don't help, you should try a restore (Settings > General > Reset > Restore). -

IPhone 2G will not connect to iTunes
my friends iPone 2G is disabled and asked if I could unlock it which is normally not a problem but when I go thru the steps of unlocking the device it will not connect to iTunes, but my computer recognizes the device when plugged in. I am running the latest version of iTunes on Windows 7. I have even tried restarting the Apple mobile device service in Windows, tried restarting iTunes, and restarting Windows all together. Nothing I have tried works, I have searched online and all I can find is to make sure it is the latest version of iTunes which I have already installed on my computer, I am open to any suggestions to fix the problem

Pluging the IPad in is recognized by the PC. There is the sound and the iPad appears in Device manager. It behaves as expected when unlugged. But Itunes (Latest) is unresponsive to it. As stated above my Iphone behaves just as it should so the services are operational. If I plug it into another PC it works just fine. -

Turn your phone off and connect your cable to the computer, but not the device just yet. Start up iTunes. Now, hold down the home button on your phone and plug it in to the cable - don't let go of the button until iTunes tells you it's detected a phone in recovery mode. Now you can restore to factory settings.
Unfortunately, the data on your phone is already gone if you're seeing the connect to iTunes logo.
