2 Computers & iPAd Mini Issues
I have 2 computers I am trying to sync with my iPad Mini. One is my home computer and I have been successful at putting documents onto my iPad Mini with DropBox so I am good there. The second is my work computer. I am trying to sync calneda and contacts in Outlook 7. I have installed iCloud and iTunes as recommended but it will not sync. It creates new calendars in Outlook but they are not going onto my iPad Mini or iCloud. Furthermore, my control panels in iCloud and iTunes do not have the setting options in the directions. HELP!

Charging ipad mini issue. Urgent help needed.
Please help me. Past 2 days, I notice my ipad took longer time to fully charge. Normally, it just take around 3-3.5 hours, but now it take 8 hours to complete. What is the problem, was it my ipad, or my charger adapter issue.
Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W or 12W (5W on Mini) USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (2.5W, most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.

have updated ipad via itunes but after update screen has gone black with an usb image pointing to the itunes logo & won't turn on?
recovery mode
open itunes on computer
plug cable into computer not iOS device
turn device off
hold home button and plug cable into IOS device. do not release home button until an itunes graphic appears on IOS device.
look to computer should have message about recovery mode click ok and restore

Try #5.
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)

• In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

Photostream on iPad mini keyboard blocks comments section
When commenting on a photo on Photostream or Facebook, the keyboard blocks where you are writing. This means you can't see what you are typing and also makes it difficult to fix any mistakes.
Also, there is no option on this form to submit it as an iPad Mini issue in the product drop down menu.Don't know why it tagged your reply as helpfull.
First off it's not a task bar, it's a recently used App bar. Wether an App can run in the background, suspend itself, just hang around in memory or kills itself on exit they still show up in what you refer to as the Task Bar.
This suggestion should have been negated by the line "No, removing App icons/stubs from the resently run Apps bar does not release all memory used by [an] App".
Your second idea was covered in the line "Yes, I have [the same problem] with newly boot[ed] device".
Ok, I left out a few words, but surely if you feel qualified to provide answers you should have been able to infer entened information.
Based on the complete text why would think these basic solutions would have been missed. Neither of these suggestion are solutions, this would be like call ing your car manufacture with the problem, "I drive my car for about 15 minutes and then it stalls, after I roll to stop and wait about 2 minutes it will restart again" and thier answers is "Stop driving after 14 minutes, turn your care off, wait 10 seconds and restart your car". -
IPad mini not able to charge to 100%, it stuck at 90%.
Having an iPad mini, it does not fully charge when I plugged into the 5W power adapter came with it. But it is able to chrage fully when I plugged into a 10W power adapter. Is there anything wrong with the 5W power adapter? I have a few friends who is using iPad mini having the same issue with charging. Did sent my iPad mini to AASP, but they say no issue found. Tried DFU restore iPad mini, issue still persist with the 5W power adapter, it just stop charging at 90%. Any solution out there?
Thanks Diavonex, yes, using 10W adapter works fine. But it does not make any sense if I purchased an iPad mini come with the adapter and it does not charge fully, hence I need to get another 10W adapter?

Got the dreaded no wifi on my wife's iPhone 4S. Wifi greyed out and no luck with the reset network instructions. Why isn't Apple addressing this issue? Two or three weeks ago, I had a cracked screen replaced on my iPad Mini 2 with retina display (32G). It worked perfectly for 2-3 weeks, so I don't know how relevant the screen repair is. Anyway, the iPad is currently running iOS 8.1.3. I completely reset it because I want to sell it, but recently, the screen display started to have issues. One afternoon I turned it on and the screen was a faint gray with vertical streaks that went away after I turned it off then back on. That night, the screen would stay black when I tried to turn it on. It was a different black to being off, though. When I try to turn it on it changes to a brighter black, if that makes sense. I can see a change in the shade of black, but there's no color or app icons. The sound works even when the screen doesn't. The only way I can get it to turn on properly is if I hold it in my hands/arms for 2-3 minutes. I think the heat from my hands has something to do with it. It's just weird that regular room temperature seems to be too cold. We've had a cold winter in NY this year and my iPad may have spent 1-2 hours in my cold car the day this happened, but I can't say for sure. Has anyone else heard of this issue or does anyone have a solution?

In my situation, the screen simply started exhibiting the same symptoms a few weeks ago (early February) for no apparent reason. At first I thought the screen was dead, but discovered the heat solution by accident. Now I turn it on and keep it from going to sleep until I go to bed. Thank goodness the battery is still awesome on this thing.
I bought it new and still has the original screen, I keep it at home (never below 62 degrees). Coincidentally, this happened a day or two after the expiration of the warranty!! Any help figuring this one out would be eternally appreciated.

IPad Mini Retina Display Intense Flickering Issue
Hi all, I've got an iPad Mini Retina 16 Gb iOS 7.1.2, I purchased at end of November 2013. Beginning yesterday, I had two incidents several hours apart where the display would suddenly start flickering like an old black and white TV set. First time it occurred I thought it may be an app issue/incompatibility as I had just downloaded an app from the App store. I couldn't do anything with the device, so I held the on/off button down to do a hard shut down, I couldn't actually see the swipe bar to shut down but I swiped where it usually is and then shut the thing down. It was fine when I turned back on, so I just chalked it up to a one-time anomaly. About 3-4 hours later the same thing happened completely out of the blue. Did the same thing, intense gray scale flickering like an old b/w TV. Did a hard shut down again then turned back on and it was fine. Well it just happened again today which means the display flicker issue has now happened 3 times in the last 24 hours. I even took a photo of the display flicker with my iPhone so I'd have something to show someone at the Genius Bar.
Anyone else hear of this issue? If so, anyone know what causes it? I've resigned myself to a Genius Bar appt in the next day or two which hopefully means a quick swap with a replacement device. Input appreciated!You can't downgrade the iOS level so forget about that. I doubt that this is due to iOS 8.
Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10-15 seconds).
No data will be lost. -

Wifi issues with iPad mini since iOS 8 update
I Have a First Gen iPad Mini now running on iOS 8.1 . Since the original update of IOS8 . I have had issues with Wifi it connects disconnects itself always looking for a signal.. Nerve had this issue before update of the new IOS 8. It's extremming slow and the apps and Safari keep crashing.. It becomes unresponsive unable to click on website . It also freezes .. I've have numberous times done a complete factory reset . Still having issues. I have reset my router and I don't have any issues with any wifi at the house. I do have a iPhone 5 that had the exact issue as my IPad mini but it was replaced under warranty via Best Buy. When I reciecevd my iPhone it was still operating on IOS 7 . The gentlemen at Geek Sqd told me to NOT to upgrade the software till Apple gets a fix.. They had a lot of people in with the same problem and there devices needed to be replaced. My last resort would be to go to the Apple Store and hopefully they can help or buy a new IPad. As far as the new iPad Air2 I have seen here they too are having issues.. Hopefully Apple can fix this soon.. Till then I will not be upgrading my iPad if a new one will have the same issues..

IPad mini now terrible to use, apple support no help because warranty is up. All cause by new ios8 update, wifi issues, many apps no longer work, apps that do work now crash regularly and sometimes take several instances and reboots to even open.
need help uninstalling ios8 and going back to 7 where things worked please.
