HT204053 Hello, i wanted to ask if i can put in a diffrent email for my iCloud so that the verifying email could be sent to, beacause the first mail i was using is no longer working and that way i can't backup my stuff into iCloud..please help.

It's not actually my account but it was already in the iPad when i first bought and i've been using this ID for more than three years now, but all the email and verifying email from iTunes get send there instead of my own email, and even that i tried to log in the person's mail it was deleted and no more excisted so i can't verify to iCloud , what can i do? Can i replace the email of the ID with my own?
Please help.

All downloads from iTunes are tied to the account that downloaded it, you can't re-download content via a different account. You checked the spam folder on yourr old account as well as the Inbox, and depending upon how long ago you did it, have you retried getting it reset : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password' ?

    It depends on how you installed it. You have to shutdown the MySQL service first. If you used the standard, but obsolete Startup Item, you can do that with the Startup Item. If you created a launchd script, you can do it with launchctl. Once MySQL is no longer running, you can delete the Startup Item or launchd script and the rest of MySQL.

  • My computer crashed and I was using Chrome, not have firefox and cannot figure out how to get my "Favorites" into firefox. I have located the file on my computer, but it's not on any ISP.

    Once you have those bookmarks in firefox use the firefox Bookmarks menu to see and click on the required bookmark, that will take you to the location of that bookmark, which usually will be somewhere out on the Internet.

  • Several pages of CC aren't working and all my apps including CC is out of date! Please help!

    I have tried many solutions including chatting with a Adobe Support person and he couldn't fix it. Ive uninstalled everything using the cleaner several times and oh so much more. When i open Creative Cloud, the home page will not come up including the fonts page and behance and the apps page doens't have all the apps its supposed to have plus! their all out of date! i keeping getting the old verions. cs6. i have no option for CC. and even when i install them half of them don't work. the ones i wanted the most. since day one of purchasing creatice cloud ive been having errors and just a little bit ago the techinal support dude told me to click this link and go from there. the link was NO help at all!!!

    I have an issue with my computer.  the volume was working fine on wednesday june 29th 2011 (thats the last I could remember) and today is july 3rd 2011.  so when I start the computer up it does not let me play anything trough the iTunes volume when I start a song it goes immediately to pause but no sound comes out.  When I click on the volume in the menu bar it does not allow me to raise the volume up, nor does it allow me to play volume through my speakers when I am on youtube.com. AND when I go to system preferences it has checked off that it is on mute, BUT  it is a light gray color and it does not let me check the setting off.  please help! what do I do? I think it is still under warranty because it is only between 11 months-12 months old.

    That you are getting the BONG is a good sign, it's unlikely to be hardware if you are able to hear that.
    Start by running SW update. It's not that there is a specific fix, but when updating it may rewrite some system files which may get this going again purely as a side affect. Worth a go, and should not harm the system.
    Try reset the PRAM - Resetting your Mac's PRAM and NVRAM
    Hopefully one of these quick fixes works, otherwise we'll need to try isolate the issue next - so if still having a problem, I'd try create a new user and login as that user to see if the issue persists (which will tell us if it's system wide or user specific)

    Since updating my Imac 27" 8 month old computer it will not let me open up any programs including safiri and iphoto. it is pretty much saying that i need to install all the program again, which i can not afford nor have the time too. can someone please help me be able to get it back to the way it was or help me to fix it so i can keep using it with this software update

    For starters, you could boot from the OS X install DVD that came with your iMac (insert the disk, reboot and hold down the "C" key after the bong). On that disk is Disk Utility; run that, choose the iMac's hard disk, and run Repair Disk. If errors are found and repaired, try running it again until it's deemed OK.
    If that doesn't help, try to get the OS 10.6.8 combo updater from Apple and run that. It will replace a lot of the Apple software that's already on your iMac and may refresh things so that they'll work.

  • I upgraded to Firefox 6 random websites are using illegible fonts from my computer instead of the default. No issues with Firefox 5 or any other browser I use. Each time I open Firefox or reinstall it a different illegible font appears. Please help.

    When I delete the font that keeps showing up as the default, a new illegible font appears. The fonts are not 'garbled' they are just decorative typefaces that are being grabbed from my computer. I have never had an issue with my fonts on old Firefox versions or other browsers like chrome, safari, etc., so I don't think the issue is my fonts. I also don't want to have to delete all the fonts off of my computer. I uploaded another photo of when I deleted the font that was appearing before. Please help if anyone has found a solution to this problem with Firefox 6+ :/

    Some of the links in a site I use are no longer working now that I have done the software update.
    Ie.. I use an online canteen programme to order lunch for my kids but now I can no longer use some of the websites links.  I've contacted the company and they think its an iOS update issue and have stated its out of their control- how can I rectify this?

    I know it must be frustrating when a website that you normally use is no longer working the way you would expect. The first thing I would suggest looking at your cookies in Settings > Safari. Please reference the attached article for further information. The article goes up to iOS 7 but the settings are in the same place in iOS 8.

    Your best bet for a power adapter is to get one from Apple. Third-party adapters just don't seem to be reliable (or safe). You can also buy a replacement battery directly from Apple, of course, but they're a bit more expensive.

    iTunes and the iTunes Store won't have anything to do with your photos. Those would be stored only on your laptop unless you made a backup of some sort. If you didn't, and the hard drive in your laptop has failed, then your photos are gone unless you wish to pay a disk recovery service a lot of money to try and get them back.
    As to your music, if you purchased it from the iTunes Store you can probably re-download it. Go to the iTunes Store, log into your account, and click the Purchases link under the Quick Links. From there you should be able to re-download some or all of your purchased content. Note that not all content has been licensed for re-downloading in all countries at this time.     Try a reset:
    - Hold the home button and sleep/wake button down at the same time. When the Apple logo appears release both buttons then try and charge again.
    If issue persists try:
    - Another known working cable
    - Check the charging port for any damage or debris
    - You could also use a dry soft bristle toothbrush and gently brush it on the port to clean it of any debris that could be in there

    There is no other way you can do now. Actually, you don't need to create a new Apple ID account, you can change the Apple ID from old email account to other email accout easily by all the steps below.
    1, Open iTunes > iTunes Store > log in old Apple ID > Click on your apple ID on the right hand side on top > choose account > Apple ID > Edit
    As long as you only change your Apple ID, then all the old apps are still under your new email account as well as you can keep downloading new apps.
