If it's asking you confirm anything or in any way provide personal information, then yes, it's almost certainly a scam. See:

Just delete the message; do not reply to it or provide any sort of personal information through any of the links in the email. You can sign into your iTunes Store account directly through iTunes and confirm that nothing has changed.

Please can someone explain how to delete and email address that when typed in brings up one name but when you hit return to confirm it jumps to another name. I can't find them in my contacts list but they do come up when you type the first few letters of a name.
EG If I type xyz and the name of the person comes up, when I press return to confirm that's the one I want then it jumps to [email protected], always the same def address.
I can't fathom it out.

Try this:
Start a new email. In the To address bar, type in xyz like you normally do, press return to confim, and when the address you want to remove shows up in the address bar, move your cursor over the address you want to delete.
A small triangle next to the name will show up. click on it, a drop down menu will open, click Remove from Previous Recipients List. Then do the drop down menu again and Remove Address.

Recently installed parallels on my iMac and created email account in outlook express where all my emails now are but have gone from my mail on the mac

I have recently installed parallels on my Macbook and created my existing email account within outlook express which has all emails but by doing this it has removed all emails from Mail on the Macbook. I don't won't to delete from outlook then find I have lost them forever. I'm just trying to find out how I can get them back to their original place in Mail.

If has more than one account, the Inbox icon, for example, should have a black triangle if the accounts have been correctly added via the assistant. If that triangle is pointing sideways, then he clicks on it, it should turn downward, and reveal the Inbox for each account. If he does not have but the one account, then the Inbox should be that of the AOL account. Same with Sent Drafts, etc.
If the triangle beside Inbox reveals other folders such as Sent Items, click to open that, and then click Mailbox in the menubar, place cursor on Use this Mailbox for and choose Sent.
AOL is IMAP access, so can be tricky. The folders under AOL lower in the Sidebar are for other archiving. AOL only allows messages to stay in the Inbox and Sent folder for 27 days, and then you must Move the messages to the Saved folder to keep longer on the server. Of course, various On My Mac mailboxes can be created to save messages, and those will be on the hard drive of his Mac.
In Mail 2.x and OS 10.4.10 there is no longer a separator for On My Mac in the Sidebar, but is with 10.3.x and Mail 1.3.x
This may or may not be such a good idea to have switched him without being in front of his computer to provide some instruction

I can not find the printer email/code to get more apps on my Photosmart Plus B210

My printers App section has the "get more" button and it directs me to HPePrintCenter.com , so I doubt it isn't compatible. However, when I follow the directions to get the printer's email/code the Wireless Network Test Report that prints automatically when I re-establish the wireless connection there is no information suggesting the printer has such an address.
I am absolutely lost as to how to get this code now.
Any help would be appreciated. =D

I bought a HP Officejet 6500A Plus e-All-in-One. setup was quick and easy and nothin went wrong as far as I know. my problem is that I cant add a printer in my account at the hpeprintcenter because it asks for a printer code. It says my printer should of printed it out after the setup. that didnt happen. so now i cant find it and dont know where to look. the only icons on the display of the printer are the fax setup wizard, wireless network wizard and an icon called 'Discovery'. within discoery there are icons named eprint, and web app and two others i cant think of. when I click on one of them, it doesnt bring up options for settings, it just brings up little 'animations'. what should I do? is there a way to restore the printer completey and start again? or any other solution? It's connected via wireless if thats relevant. Thanks for your help!

Same thing happened to me. My son's iPod touch suddenly started indicating that my "username or PW had changed" or was "incorrect" so I paid Apple $30 to find out that all that was required was updating the software by plugging his iPod into my computer & syncing with iTunes. My problem was then solved.

I am getting increasingly frustrated at the battery grossly overheating ( as in cannot hold it on legs as gets too hot) also that I have to keep it on constant charge a other wise it discharges from 100% to zero in well under and hour. Is this a battery or design fault of this particular model. Its not even a year old but I also know whilst they brought it out in March 2012 they discontinued in October 2012...

This is off the top of my head, but here goes.
I'm assuming you have Keynote on the iPad.
1- in Mail, press and hold on the image. You should see a pop up that'll say something along the lines of "Save Image". Press Save Image
2- As a sanity check, open the Photos app and look under the album/event "camera roll" or 'saved photos' Make sure said photo is there.
3-In Keynote with a preso open, press the little Picture icon in the upper right. From there, choose "media" choose the 'saved photos' or camera roll' album and then the image.

I can't I open any links or attachments in any of my email accounts with my iPhone 5. When I try to open an attachment Or a link the screen freezes.

Yes, I have a similar problem on iPad 3. It started after it had been upgraded to iOS 6.
When I click on a link in the body of the email the email app freezes and the only way get it back to life is to terminate and restart. I can open attachments though.
Does anyone know a solution for this?
It made the iPad nearly unusable for me, I rely on email a lot.
