HT204406 I have subscribed to match on iTunes and organized my music on my Mac Book. Why does it not appear the same way on my iPad
I would like my music to appear organized in the same way on my iPad as I have done it on my Mac Book. (and on my iPhone as well) Since it is in the cloud, why does it not appear the same way in all devices?
The purpose of iTunes match is to make your music library available to all of your devices anywhere. It will sync Playlists, but no other type of organization you may have made.
If you're having trouble, be sure you are logged into the same Apple ID on all devices but be sure to read this article and pay special attention to associating your devices with an Apple ID. There are important restrictions you should know about.

You can give feed back to Apple from the iTunes drop-down menu in the iTunes menu bar..

I have rented a movie on apple tv and wish to finish it on my mac book air. When I open iTunes on my mac book air I can not see the movie in iTunes. It is an authorised device and I can see other purchases just. How do I fix it?
Rented movies downloaded to an Apple TV can't be transferred to any other device.

Yes, you can download iTunes for Windows using Parallels. If planning on making purchases here and/or authorizing already purchased tracks (from your Mac iTunes library), you are permitted to authorize five (5) computers as per iTunes Store terms of use, regardless of computing platform. No need to create a separate new iTunes Store account.
However, judging from what you would like to do, your best bet would be to convert the WMAs to AAC/MP3 in iTunes-Windows (iTunes-Mac cannot import WMA files), and drag the files from the Parallels window to your desktop to add to the iTunes-Mac library. (as the iPod itself is currently linked to your iTunes-Mac library)

I have a 17" Mac Book Pro and a 13" Mac Book Pro...both use the same Apple ID. My wife uses the 13" and now wants to change the Apple ID on the 13" to her Apple ID. How do I do this and not loose the information on that computer?

Was creating beautiful abstractions by zooming in and wanted to create a new image of the result. Have since discovered that cropping after zooming takes me a little way to where I want to go but it isn't the same effect. Will perhaps have to try to create it when actually shooting. Am doing a photoshop course in February and maybe will learn a bit more then, too. Am pretty much an amateur just finding my way.

I have changed my apple id password as appstore was not accepting old password and the password change was successfully done but again i m facing the same problem in app store and unable to download apps
Settings > iTunes & App stores.
Tap AppleID then Sign out and sign back in. -
For no discernible reason when I opened iTunes and selected the iTunes Store, this message appeared:
The item you've requested is not currently available in the U.S. store.
rebooted computer. Flushed iTunes cache. I see lots of references to this in older posts (2012 and earlier) but nothing recent.There are several posts about this in the last 15 minutes
Look around.
Be patient, itunes will correct their issue. -

Well you could have asked if i had the last update,which i had not,so after updating to ios7.1 it seems to work much better now.

I did buy an ipad mini with retina first but it had even worse problem with scrolling and very bad wifi reception,so I took it back to the store and bought this ipad air instead....
It seems to be a difference between every ipad,so the stability of production of ipads is not really as it should be ! -

Itunes and Organizing Media/music
Hi,
i want my itunes media/music to be in c:\users\<myuser>\music
but everytime i add music to my libaray it kepts putting it in c:\users\<myuser>\music\music
why is it creating that extra music folder?
my itunes media folder is set to c:\users\<myuser>\music
i just don't understand whats going on

If you have upgraded from version 8 (or earlier) to iTunes 9 (or later) at some point, then your media folder (everything inside the red outline) may still be called iTunes Music instead of iTunes Media (or in your case it is just Music). The extra Music folder inside the media folder is used if you have allowed iTunes to Upgrade to iTunes Media Organization (iTunes 9) or used File > Library > Organize Library > Reorganize files in the folder "<Media Folder>" (iTunes 10). Depending on your choices for Keep iTunes Media folder organized andCopy files to iTunes Media folder when adding to library plus a little bug in which one build changed the name of the file storing the choice of layout it is quite easy for some of your files to be organized according to one layout and some the other.

ITunes says 3.2.2 is current for iPad. Why does it not see the new 4.2
My computer is running Vista. I have been using the newest iTunes 10.1.0.54 for a while now, but when I plug my iPad in, iTunes tells me that my iPad is up to date with 3.2.2.
Can anyone shed some light on why it's saying this. I have no other way of downloading the new OS?If history is to be trusted, it should hit at roughly noon my time (central). So 10:00 by Cupertino time. Sorry, I don't know about UK time zones. I would say 8 more minutes, give or take an hour.

If the keep me signed in option is not working, you may have a malformed cookie. Try deleting Google/Gmail cookies, for details on how to do that see [[deleting cookies]]. -
