I have the system Library on a second internal drive and it is syncing with iCloud with no problems. Also the Media Browser it seeing it there.
Only make sure, your external drive is directly connected and correctly formatted MacOS Extended (Journaled).

I have a 2012 MBP currently running OSX Mountain Lion. I have had no issues connecting my MBP to my HDTV, however, when I watch a TV show or movie in Full Screen I am unable to use the MBP desktop. Not really. Some outdated sites might have a "Best experienced with Internet Explorer" note around somewhere, but even those might work just fine in Firefox.

What this message means is that you have more music in your itunes library than there is free space in your ipod.
I had this same issue at one time. This is what helped me put my music on the ipod. I used manually manage.

Actually, you can in fact restore it or re-activate it using iTunes. A bad ESN just means it can't ne activated for phone service, but it can still be used as a touch. Phones with bad ESN's are not necessarily stolen, if the owner/account holder fails to pay their bill, the carrier will list with a bad ESN.

Record the guitar and the vocals to separate tracks. If you only have one microphone, record both tracks separately, one after the other.

Be aware that the emails you move to local storage ("on my Mac") will be the only copies that remain.

Other than the initial 30 day trial period, you can only use the software if you're a paid up member.
It's a subscription service. As a subscriber you can use the software. When you cancel, you lose access until you re-join.
