Make an appointment at an Apple store, 'cause you won't be able to use recovery mode to restore your phone, with a broken sleep/wake button. They will offer you an out of warranty replacement, cost is US $149.

Is it the Home button that doesn't work, or the Power (Sleep/Wake) button? If the Power button works, you can switch it off. Not sure how you have been able to do anything without the Home button working?

Unless somebody else has a micracle workaround I don't know. Probably get the phone in for repair since it has been living on borrowed time so far and now you absolutely must have a working button.

Apple doesn't sell insurance. Talk to your insurance company. The warranty does not cover accidental damage or abuse.
If you purchased AppleCare+, you can get up to 2 discounted (US$49) replacements over the course of 2 years for user inflicted damage. Sounds like that's not what you have.

I recently broke my lock button when it dropped, and wont work again, also i shattered my screen a while back, but it didnt bother me. Now that i want to get the button fixed, will the apple store only fix the button, or the whole phone. I still have 2 weeks of warranty left so it's not like they'd fix one thing and not the other when either way they'll both be free ya know?

Now doesnt work, I call premium resellers in Argentina and they said me that the didnt work with apple guarantee

Sorry for my bad english.The iPhone has NEVER had an international warranty. Warranty is ONLY valid in the country of purchase. You will need to bring your phone to Panama for service from Apple.
