The "device may need service" means a hardware problem. In that case make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

If your profile is correct you're already on the final version of Snow Leopard (10.6.8). Sure it wasn't Lion it was asking for?

Are you talking about the green '+' button in the top left corner? That technically doesn't enlarge it. It switches the window from the default window size to the custom size you made. You can enlarge the window by moving your mouse to the bottom right corner of the window, and dragging until you get the size you want.

I can understand this with videos you are streaming, i.e. maybe you have a slow data connection.
Videos on your phone should not do this. Try a reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.

Thanks Shootist007, by blockd files I mean files that I have changed to blocked and when I tried to move then for the first time, I had to unblock again. I am trying to backup my pictures, my songs and other files like word documents and excel tables. First I put all of them as blocked, what caused the first problems on trying to move them. Then, I've unchecked the block option and if I try to move one by one, there is no problem. The issue is to move all together, because it gets stuck in the preparing to copy files step. Anyway, if I cannot do all by once, I'll do it one by one, event though that was not suposed to happen if we are talking about technology, right? Anyway, I thank you again for trying to help me!

Your source video file is probably muxed.
Neither QT Pro or iTunes has the ability to successfully encode a muxed video file with audio. You'll end up with video and no audio.
See: iPod plays video but not audio of some exported files.
You'll need to use some other third-party software to do the conversion. There's a handful of software available. Just search the forums and you'll find many titles mentioned.
Try MPEG Streamclip.

Can Pay To the Order of be different from Vendor Name in Check for Payment

My client has several vendors, where payment goes to an organization with a different name. I have created Pay To addresses with the correct information, but would like to automate the process such that the Outgoing Payment, whether created manually or from Payment Wizard will fill in the Pay to the Order of field on the check with a name other than the Vendor Name.
I can manually go into Checks for Payment and enter a different Pay to the Order of name. I want to know if this can be done automatically.

I have a Mac Pro and an Imac, both with thunderbolt. When I connect the two together with a thunderbolt cable each recognises the other as shown in the system report, but when I try to use second screen in Aperture, the option is still grey and unavailable. What do i have to do to activate second screen in Aperture via thunderbolt?

In actual fact this seems a bigger problem than I thought. Linking the two computers via the Thundernolt cable and selecting cmd F2 no longer shares the screen at all and Apple say it may not be able too in Mointain Lion - What are they playing at, hundreds of customers link computers together and share the screens - Lets hope they are wrong and tell us what we need to do other than move back to Windows.

Whenever I open Reddit, I get the pop up, "Firefox HTML Document (0 bytes)" which asks for my permission to be downloaded. On Cricinfo, I get a similar pop up.

This would also occur on other websites, but these are the two of the websites that I frequent a lot more. The problem is, even if I click on "Do this automatically..." button, all what it eventually does is that all such files gets saved in the default "download" folder which slows my system down. Help?

This behavior is not the right behavior - neither of these sites would prompt you to download any files when you visit them. Can you please check if this happens when you open Firefox in safe mode too. Instructions for running Firefox in safe mode are below

well mine is remembering history but this happens even when im in the middle of something and a tab will open that's blank!! really really drives me nuts!! and the remember isn't the problem it does this after awhile, could it be faster fox browser add-on? or another add-on that's making it do it?
