HT2500 What do I do when My original Apple ID was with an IPod & windows pc setting & Now I have a Real Apple Macbook that I just want to work with My Mac, Should I change my Apple ID so the setting are all correct?

I am new to the Macbook Pro OS x 10.7.3 Lion and am having some issues with cross browser becuase I believe I used a windows Vista & XP pc with my Apple ID before I got my new Mac( I just LOVE IT!) It is already too late but should I create a new apple ID and go from there to fix some little problems I am having?
I want to have the apple ID that works just with my macbook so I do not get confused. Any help on this matter would be helpful.

Your Apple ID should not be causing problems with your browser. If you describe the problems you are having we might be able to help with those.

Why did you delete the hard drive? If you delete the contents of the Macintosh HD you have no system to boot into. That's what the flashing folder/? means. What system were you using before deleting everyting.
You're going to have to install a system on the HD before you can boot.

That version cannot be upgraded further if it's a 2G model. The 3G model can be upgraded to iOS 5.x.x. You can't have a 2G model because the maximum iOS version is 4.2.1.

Who ever uses the iCloud email address or has their contacts, calendars etc etc on the account should keep the existing ID for iCloud, the other one should create their own ID, you can both keep using the current ID for iTunes if you have a shared media collection.

Your description of the issue is not clear:
What format, bit depth and color was your original file "from the net"? It sounds like it was a Color Indexed GIF, which would cause what you are describing.
In the Macintosh Finder, select said "net image" and do a Get Info on it (Command+i). When the Info box appears in the Finder, take a screen shot and upload it here by using the little camera icon in the Reply Editor in the forum's web interface.
If the image is a 256-color GIF, remember the rule: GIGO = garbage in, garbage out.

I am trying to stop using my I-pod under my husband's I-Tune account. It was set up under his account and the only way I can use it under my account is to erase all of the songs my husband loaded on for me. If you are going to change your AppleID login you will need to log out and back in on all your devices. Turn off 'Find My iPhone/iMac/iPod' first or you will find yourself unable to sign out and be stuck.

Nothing to worry about. If you open Settings and scroll down and tap Phone, you will see "Respond with Text" and one of the standard replies on mine is "Can't talk right now ... I'll call you later." I would guess that a button got hit while in your bag.

You do realise that wiping the disk means that everything on the disk is erased. Everything. Photos, music, emails, ...
So the first piece of advice is to make sure you have a back up of everything.
You need the OS disk to reintsall the operating system. You will use that disk first to erase the drive, then to reinstall the OS.

As for MS Office, you will need the original disk that it came on to reinstall it.
