The Duplicates function is still available, it's just been moved. It is now listed as "Show Duplicate Items" under the View menu.

The show duplicates feature is now under the View menu. Use Shift > View > Show Exact Duplicate Items as this is normally a more useful selection. You need to manually select all but one of each group to remove. Or use my DeDuper script if you don't want to do it by hand. Please take note of the warning to backup your library before deduping. See this thread for background.
(If you don't see the menu bar press ALT to show it temporarily or CTRL+B to keep it displayed)

Moving the lid will dim the display and even put it to sleep. any ideas?

I have an iBook G4 800 and when the lid is even slightly moved it goes dim, which leads me to thinking that the inverter is bad, but it also puts the computer to sleep. That last part really confuses me. has anyone seen this before?

Our G4 iBook could be reliably put to sleep (pulsing light etc) by light pressure on one area of the upper right of the screen (your right as you face it). Tekserve in NYC fixed it (under warranty) by replacing the "reed switch."
This seems to be part of the wiring that runs through the hinges to the screen. It has worked so far.

I just stopped downloading the dodgy version half way through after reading the problems encountered!

My sync problem has been going on since I updated to IOS 8. I have had two telephone help calls and one Genius Bar visit. I am no further forward.
MY iPhone and iPad will randomly fill to capacity with OTHER files requiring a complete reboot. I have disabled iCloud drive and tried reorganising and deleting files from my iTunes library. All of my devices worked almost perfectly prior to this upgrade. I now dread syncing either of my devices to see what latest iTunes problem is now present.
I Have one simple question which no one at Apple has answered. When iTunes finds a file it doesn't like or will not sync why does it not flag it up with the reason for the problem. iTunes has done this for many years with incompatible files and missing album art work. If iTunes could only tell us why it is continually waiting for sync to start or give us a reason for our iOS device suddenly filling to capacity with OTHER files at least we would be able to do our own diagnosis and repairs. Apple need to sort out this issue soon. I'm losing patience and faith in Apple products. So no iPhone 6 upgrade for me till this gets properly sorted.

When closing 2 windows(with multiple tabs each), system restore does not properly restore the second window's tabs. Is this a bug in the new update/any ideas to fix?

I regularly use 2 windows with multiple tabs each and session restore would work to get them all back, but after this latest update the second window does not restore properly, with the first tab not visible on top(only in drop down menu) and the add a tab button now on the left(instead of right). The add a tab button is not really concerning other than it indicates other problems with the tabs on tab of the 2nd window. Not having the 1st tab visible is frustrating, because I can not move it or as easily navigate. Also, the tabs on top of the 2nd window that are visible no longer have the "x" to close visible unless that tab is selected. I'm assuming this is a problem with the new release/update, since this is the first time I've ever encountered the problem, and I've shut down and restored Firefox a few times to make sure this was a recurring problem and not a one-time deal. Any ideas on how to fix would be welcome(other than perhaps cramming my tabs onto one window or sucking it up XD).

Same problem here. I bought an iPhone 4 off eBay because I didn't want to sign a new contract with AT&T. The phone's screen was broken, but I was able to replace that no problem and replaced the battery as well. Phone worked great for about 2 weeks, then one day wouldn't charge. Tried several chargers and cables, nothing worked. Hard reset didn't work either. Nor did cleaning the dock connector with contact cleaner.
The only thing that worked was doing a software restore in iTunes (essentially re-install iOS 5.0.1). I also installed the BatteryDoctor app and that got the phone charged to 100% no problem, but the next day I was back to square one. At this point the battery is essentially stuck at zero and the phone won't even power on.

I have a report that displays many duplicate rows where all fields in several rows are exact duplicates. I would like to know how to make it so that the entire row does not show up if it is an exact duplicate of another row. Any ideas? Thanks.

I literally have been pulling my hair out for the past 3 days with the same issue. I'm new to SSRS. I created a new report where I basically only wanted to show order header info, but unfortunately, some of the info I need to show at the header
level is only kept at the detail level. So, when I linked the order header to the order detail (one to many) I got a duplicate row for every line that was in the order detail. I tried to group just by order number (thinking it would roll
all the dups up) but that didn't work. Doing a group on all the fields on the report did the trick.

We have a requirement to alter the text on few buttons and headers for a Published Site. I have modified the Seeded JSP and saved as xxseeded.jsp and deployed in $OA_HTML. Now i want to add this custom JSP to the Display Template but i don't know how to find the Display Template Associated with the Seeded JSP. So, i need to know the Programmatic access name for the Display Template which uses this Seeded JSP as Source file. Is there any where i can check?

'Show duplicates' is now under the 'View' menu. To see the 'Date added' column go to 'View options' from the 'View' menu and check it in the section under 'Stats'.
Click an audiobook once to select it and hit command-i (Mac) or control-i (Windows). Go to the 'Options' tab and set 'Media Kind' to 'Audiobook'.

Right-click on this direct link to ExactDuplicates and "download" or "save link as..." to a location of your choice. Double-click to the file to run it. You should get something a bit like this:
If your system will allow it my script will produce a progress bar so you can see what is going on, otherwise you will have to be patient, it will carry on working in the background.
After scanning for duplicates it then adds them to a new playlist. For large libraries this process can be quite slow. (Very slow if you also have old hardware like me.)
Finally you'll get a results window like this (from a different test run, as I didn't have time for the full one to finish when I was grabbing screenshots).
You can use shift-delete to remove selected tracks from the library as well as the playlist. Leave at least one track behind from each repeated group and don't send anything to the recycle bin unless you are sure you have more than one physical copy.
The DeDuper script has several advantages over cleaning by hand. Automating the process allows preservation & amalgamation of ratings, play counts, playlist membership, etc. See this thread for more detail.
