i would like to know to delete a number that still shows up in my text message people i can send messages to but is no longer a contact in my phone. but since i have sent the person a text in the past and when i type the name in it will pull it up how do i delete that

When the name comes up during typing, if the name is no longer in your contacts, there should be a blue arrow to the right of the name. If you touch this arrow you will be given a choice of actions one of which is to delete the name from recently used. If you select Delete the name should be gone.

I updated to Mavericks and a bunch of my info deleted. I tried opening a previous iDVD I made, but when I click on it, it says to look for themes. How do I get my movie to work? Thanks.
Did you do an erase and install of Mavericks? If not look in the HD/Library/Application Support folder for an iDVD folder. There should be a Themes folder in it. If it's not there look in your Home/Library/Applications Suport folder for the iDVD folder.
NOTE: In Mavericks, 10.9, the Home Library is invisible so go to your Home folder and use the View ➙ Show View Options menu to bring up this window:
Select Show Library Folder. Now you can check to see if the iDVD folder in there.
If you find the iDVD folder launch iDVD, go to its Advanced preference pane and point iDVD to the Themes folder:
If you can't find the Themes folder you'll need to reinstall iDVD from the source you installed it from originally, i.e. the disks that came with your Mac or an iLife 09 or 11 disk.

I have my phone numbers stored in contacts but when I go to type a message in messages I get all the contacts I have deleated plus my partners contacts to ?....
Deleted information or previously used information (your partners) does not get "shredded/destroyed" but placed in storage/cache in order to be overwritten when space is necessary for the device. Since size of those contacts files is very insignificant, that overwrite takes very long time. The only way to completely get rid of that info is to go through complete erase/restore of the phone. All other data will be lost and have to be restored back the way that will not bring cache back. Essentially - no restore from the backup.

I deleted a contact from my address book but when I go into text message it is still there. How do I fully delete this contact? It is only in my text messages not in my address book.
I don't believe there's much you can do about it...have a look at the "More Like This" pane on the right side of this page.
One way though to eliminate the issue (although not a very good way) is to restore the phone as new. -
My husband and I both have iPhones. We are currently using the same Apple ID. I have my own ID but when I send him a text message it comes back to me or goes to my computer. How do we separate the 2 ID's so we can send messages?
You need to reconfigure your phone for use with your Apple ID. I suggest you restore yours as new then reconfigure it with your information and Apple ID. Be sure to disable Find My Phone, if it's enabled, before proceeding.

You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.
You can restore from a backup if you have one from BEFORE you set the restrictions passcode.

I've deleted some contacts but when I create a new message it still suggests the deleted contact. How do I permanently delete that information?
Restoring should not be the only solution !
Apple should work on fixing this issue.
The option is available when u email,
A blue arrow appears and when u click it,
It asks if u want to remove it permanently
So i think the phone # after u send a sms/text
Should be able to be deleted at will.

When I attached my USB flashdrive to my new Mac Air no icon appears and the same when I attached my new superdrive. I just finished downloading pictures off of my old Mac and that one worked as expected. The new computer doesn't show anything but when I pull the USB flashdrive out, a message prompts me with an improper eject notice. Any ideas on why no icon (a disc) appears and how can I get it to?
Open Finder preferences, click on the General icon in the toolbar. Check the boxes for what you want displayed on the Desktop. Click on the Sidebar icon in the toolbar and do the same for what you want displayed in the sidebar.

When I take pictures with my iPad they go to my iPhone but when I take pictures with my iPhone they don't go to my iPad. How can I get the pictures I take with my iPhone to my iPad?
Check the following:
From your Home screen, tap Settings > iCloud > Photo Stream, and make sure the slider is set to the ON position.
From the Home screen, tap Settings > Wi-Fi, make sure the slider is set to ON, and that your device is connected to a wireless network.
Ensure that Camera app is closed on the device where you took the photo. Photo Stream will not upload photos from an iOS device until the Camera app is closed.
Ensure your iOS device has not fallen below 20% battery power. To preserve battery life, Photo Stream downloading and uploading are disabled when the battery reaches this threshold. Downloading and uploading will resume once you charge your device, and the battery charge is greater than 20%. -
I am trying to find out about on line payment dates.
When I have made payments via my checking account, I am able to schedule those payments.
Today I made a credit card payment and was unable to schedule that payment for my due date.
I was charged today.
I don't understand why I can pre-schedule an e-check but not a credit card payment.Hey,
I think you will find that you have to have a debit/credit card stored on yur account regardless of whether your have iTunes Credit or want to purchase a free App. I don't know why, I assume its for ID verification or is part of the terms and conditions. I occasionally have to re-verify my credit card info even when just trying to run Update on one of my Apps or like I said downloading a free App.

My dad has a 1st gen iPad. He is 83 yo. I recently purchased an Apple TV for him because he loves Netflix and I told him that he could view his photos via the television. BUT, I'm not having success with Photostream. Help me.....I've been researching and trying everything I can and so far, no luck. I have typed in email addresses into Contacts, but when I try to do an email, most of them have an exclamation mark and won't let me send! Where am I going wrong ? It is really sapping my confidence!
Did you set up your email account info in Settings?
Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendar > Accounts > your account should be listed in there with the appropriate incoming and outgoing mail servers and correct user names and passwords.
