HT3529 Why do I not receive a ringtone or vibration when receiving a text message?
I Have an iPhone 5 but it doesn't make a ringtone sound or vibrate even though it is checked in the settings, does anyone know why?
Is the device on Vibrate?
Is a valid ringtone selected?
Is there a notification when a call is incoming?
Has basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide been tried?

During a two weeks process, little by little I notice my phoe doesn't ring when I get a phone call. So Far I have missed 22 calls that I am aware of. Moreover, the phone does not alert me when I get a text message. Sometimes I receive notice the next day that I received a call or a text message.Follow the basic troubleshooting steps outlined in the user guide... reset, restore from backup, restore as new.

Not able to generate AS2 MDN when receiving custom XML via AS2
Hi friends,
I have setup the trading partner and the corresponding TP certificate import for receiving the custom XML via AS2 channel.
I am receiving the custom xml properly to oracle b2b and able to receive the same to bpel as well. however in the oracle b2b console under reports tab i am seeing only one record for inbound document receive and i am not seeing the other record for the AS2 MDN going back to vendor. I have setup the AS2 channel under the external trading partner --> Channel using the vendor AS2 URL and selected all the security parameters while creating the Outbound AS2 channel.
1. Not able to generate AS2 MDN when receiving custom XML via AS2.
2. eventhough i am able to decrypt the inbound custom XML and ablr to recieve it in bpel also for processing, in the reports tab the inbound message state is changing to MSG_ERROR and it has the folloing error message:

for AS2 MDN generation for custom XML receiving using As2 protocol, do we need to setup anything other than the outbound As2 Channel using the external vendor AS2 URL?
Can you please help me how can i generate the AS2 MDN for the inbound custom XML document i have received and also why the inbound message is failing even though i am receiving the custom XML properly to bpel?

Vendor has enabled the ACK mode as SYNC.
Below are the headers for the inbound message to B2B. and we are able to receive the input message to bpel also.

Why do text messages from my iPad appear to some people as if they came from my email address instead of my phone number? This does not happen when I send text messages from my iPhone.
You need to link your iPhone number to Messages - and Facetime if you use it. For Messages go to Settings>Messages>Send and Receive at>You can be reached by iMessage at. If your phone number is showing there, select it as your Contact address. If it doesn't appear in there, take a look at the end of this article for help.

Hi Apple friends, my question is regarding, the last iOS 6.1 upgrade, why it include the LTE 4G to the iPad4 and iPad Mini with Telcel in Mexcio, and Why it was not for the iPhone 5?, when Apple will enable this feature LTE 4G on the Iphone5 to Telcel?
And Apple won't tell you. All they will tell you is what countries are supported for LTE right now. You can express your interest to Apple via their feedback pages, if you wish:

but you will not receive a reply. It may be waiting on Telcel to approve. They may not feel that their LTE network is robust enough to handle that much load yet. But I'm just guessing. We'll just have to wait and see what develops.

I've checked your account, and see no issues with your subscription. So, if you're using a web browser, please log out, clear the browser cache, and then log back in to https://cloud.acrobat.com. And, if you're using Reader, make sure that you're logged in—you should see your name listed in the upper-right corner. If not, click the Sign In link and then sign in with your user name and password.

Why does IBA not include the table of contents when exporting in PDF? I can seee the TOC in iBooks Author but when I want to see what it looks like in a regular PDF, the TOC does not show up.
Strange question you ask here. Not sure why that is relevant to "why" IBA won't publish a table of contents in a PDF.
But since eyou asked, it's simple, I want to author some books in IBA and also see what they look like - completed - in PDF. Again, any suggestions as to a work around so I don't have to cut and paste back into Pages? -

Anyone know why, firefox does not remember password for a site when you remove password from the view password site? I removed a password for a site that was not remembering the correct password for the "view password" window and now it does not guess the password and does not remember the password for that site. All other sites are being remembered.

== After I deleted the password from the view password window.The saved password feature worked well, but the site I had saved the password for required that I change the password. I have found no way to update the password in Firefox. After I deleted the saved password, Firefox did not ask if I wanted the new password saved. When this happened before, I removed and re-installed Firefox, and then it worked. I hope there is another way to update a password.

My iphone 5 went into search mode and I can't place or receive calls or use the internet but my text messages work. Sprint had me do a master reset and my phone doesn't work at all now I can't get it past the activation. Will I have to pay for repairs in store because I didnt get the Apple care plan when I purchased it. Is my name even sent when I send text messages? If so, is there a way to not display my name when I send text messages? When sending a text message, I would like to only display my phone number.

It is possible for the recipent not to have your name for your number in their address book for your contact info, but the recipent must do that.
So does that mean just my number will show when i send a text to the person using an android phone?

Have you ever received a text from a phone number that is not in your address book? If so, what do you see? You should see the phone number only. The same applies for someone you are sending a text to. -
My imessage is not working at all is because when I send a message to my friend the bar of sending complete but it doesn't send what I can do please heeeeeelpppp !!!!!
2-3 days ago, iMessage just stopped working on all my devices (2 iPads; 1 iPhone; 1 Mac), and it hasn't come back since. iPhone waiting for activation, the rest just don't send the messages.
FaceTime and iCloud work fine.
I really hope this is resolved soon, because I rely heavily on iMessage for the majority of my communications, and I need it back ASAP as I'm on holiday and out of my home country. -
When I send text messages to my wife's iphone I receive the sent message to my iphone. Is there anyway to prevent this from happening?
Having seperate apple ID's will fix it, but here's how to fix it without adding a new ID.
Go to settings, messages, send and receive, be sure your number is the only one checked. If her number is checked as well you will receive your texts to her as well. -
