I had a hard time keeping my phone charged at one time, so I called/visited my local retailer of Verizon, and they ordered me a new battery (first step after cleaning my phone. Not like it was dirty anyways). Got a new battery, put it in, still same problem. Would not charge...boo! So, I bring it back, and they order me a replacement phone, since it "is still under warranty, and insured". When I first brought my phone in, the young lady said, "That is why it is not charging; it was the charger port, that is why it was not charging. It is as loose as a goose" So, that is why she ordered me a new one.
So, get the new phone, put "new battery" back in. All is good, all of what, 2 maybe 3 weeks later. Now it is doing the same thing again. Checked the charging port, it is fine. Bring it in, to the store, and questioned the young man behind the desk, and find out why I was charged the $299.95(+taxes & s/h). He said, "it was because the old phone was because there was "corrosion" around the port." Of course, there was not a single note of it being loose. He continued, and said it was because it was there had to be a time where you spilled something on it, even if it was a drop of any kind of liquid. Or, you/ or someone else, had it in the shower with them." (Really, a drop of liquid, or taking the phone with me in the shower?) How I could I get a "drop" of liquid in it, if I had an Otter-box on it, or why would I take it in the shower with me? I admit, I am not the sharpest tool in the shed, but, really? Come on now!
Since, I have to now pay for it, I am kind ‘a wondering if anyone else has, or had the same problem with their phone (s). My wife has the same phone and she has not had this same problem. Makes me wonder. Since, my phone is doing this again, if it is something that I am doing wrong with it or not. So, now they have ordered me a new battery, and we will see if this will be a new fix, or "good bye to Verizon." Any comments, or suggestions, please email wife and me, and let me know. Check the image exceptions: Tools > Options > Content: Load Images: Exceptions - See Options window - Content panel
A way to see if images are blocked is to click the favicon (Site Identification icon) on the left side of the location bar and click the "More Information" button.
This will open the Security tab of the Page Info window (also accessible via Tools > Page Info).
Go to the Media tab of that Page Info window.
Select the first image and scroll down though the list with the Down arrow.
If there is a tick-mark in the box Block Images from... then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.

I imported a cd that I purchased and I can't get it to sync to my phone. All the songs have a grey circle in front of them and the names of the songs are grey as well. How do I get iTunes to see them so they can sync to my iPhone?.

In the Gen 4 they offer "Settings" then "Reset Settings" Then it asks, "Do you want to reset your iPod?" I click on "reset" but then nothing resets. :-( This is what makes me think it might be locked or something....

HT204053 I let my friend put his ipod on my itunes. I got a new iphone 5 and when i try to update apps,i put in my current apple id and then it asks for his apple id password, which i dont know and i want to get rid of his.

When i try to update my apps, it asks me to put in my password for apple id. I put in my password but then it asks for my friends password for his itunes, because i let him sync his ipod on my itunes. How do i remove his account off my itunes where i dont have to put in his password.

Also when I apply the safety copy it only imports the app the phones have had in common, so none of the apps that only the iPhone 4 had doesn't come in, only the ones I and the iPhone 4 has had in common. So you say the only way I can use the Apple ID to download on the old iPhone 4 is if I delete the apps that are in the phone and then download them again? How will that change the ID to download/update from. Won't it still have mine to update/download from?

HT5622 I got charged for something that was free

i was in the iTunes app and i was looking at some TV episodes and there was a free section. i clicked it and there were a bunch of episodes from the tv show "24" and i clicked download for the episodes that were available. then i went to the home page, scrolled down and there was about 3 dollers missing from the ballance that shows in the ios version of iTunes.
i would really appreciate someone telling me how i can get that back or is there a way to restore that amount, becasue i clicked download for something that was free and didnt cost.

Please check your purchase history first to see if the download wasn't for free. Maybe the store credit balance wasn't up to date and refreshed with the free download.

iTunes Plus is the name for the option in iTunes that allows customers to buy music at the iTunes Store that is free from digital rights management, or DRM.
Digital Rights Management, or DRM, is designed to prevent unauthorized sharing of files. This especially became a big concern for the music industry after the rise of Napster, Limewire, and Kazaa.
DRM, even the DRM used by Apple on iTunes Store content, prevented that. Apple's DRM allowed users to share files on only up to 5 computers.
According to TUAW, the new iTunes Plus songs have information embedded in them that identifies the user who bought and shared them by name.
This means that if you share your music and record companies want to track you down and sue for you copyright infringement, it's going to be easy.

Tap Settings > General > International. Make sure the Region Format is correct.
As for your Apple ID. Tap Settings > Store > Apple ID > iForgot
Resetting your Apple ID may help.

IPhone "cannot restore backup" at about 75%; why? And why am I paying for this?

I'm trying to restore my iPhone 4S.
After logging into my account it starts downloading my backup. At what is roughly the 75% mark, a message pops up saying "cannot restore backup". It takes about an hour or so to get to this point.
I have tried to do this three times with my latest backup. I just tried a fourth time using a backup from earlier this month and the same thing happened.
Is the backup too big? It's 42.8GB.
I should note that I'm using a very stable broadband connection.
It really makes me ask the question; why am I paying for such trouble? (you don't need to answer this question )

Looking at my broadband usage shows that only about 3GB of the backup is downloaded with each attempt, so I'm guessing size does not matter (in this case).

HEY! this may sound crazy but i was having the same problem... I just kept touching my screen and not letting the screen lock or turn black and it worked.
