Ok, so I ordered pinger's textfree without ads hoping it would speed it up, but it doesn't work.  How do I dispute the charge? thanks!

    If you had your bank refuse the charge as fraudulent, the iTunes Store probably blocked your credit card as stolen. Go here:

  • HT3702 I was double billed for something I only received one of.

    I tried to buy something through the iTunes app store within a game I play (Sims Freeplay) and I was charged twice. I only received (and wanted) one of this item, and am very frustrated trying to resolve the issue. I don't know how to fix it, aside from calling my bank to dispute the charges. I hate to do that, but since there seems to be no phone number or way to contact a human at Apple regarding iTunes issues, I'm at a loss. I found one phone number, but its answered by a machine and when you say the problem is iTunes related, it just refers you back to the website before hanging up on you...
    Does anyone know a beter solution than disputing the charge via my bank?

  • Just wondering if I'm looking for something that doesn't exist - can firefox automatically close the "print-preview" window after printing?

    I'm using the addon in my firefox toolbar to print preview website data then append to a pdf file. Sometimes I am distracted, then can't remember if I've gone through the process and printed/appended the page to the file. It would be helpful if there was a way that the print preview window would close after printing thereby confirming that the process has completed. Thanks in advance.

    I'm running different versions of firefox on different computers. I'm aware of the upgrade procedures. Same issue in later versions as well.
    The add-on is called "Print Preview Button 0.5" by sindre-wimberger which I obtained through the "Search Mozilla Support"
    However, that's not really relevant - to bring this back to basics the same situation occurs if you do <File> <Print Preview> then print the document. The print preview screen remains until manually closed. Perhaps there is a setting in "about:config"? Does anyone know if this is so? There is an entry "print.whileinprintpreview" but not sure what setting does here. Suspect if set to "False" then you probably wouldn't be able to print from "Print Preview" screen.

  • Valid license code for activation that doesn't work HELP!

    I had to reinstall CS3 back on to my computer after having to do a factory reset on the computer. I downloaded CS3 from Adobe.com since my CDs are in another state. After installation I go to enter my code for the programs and CS3 won't accept my VALID license code to activate the account. It worked perfectly fine before I had to reset my computer and it is currently installed on one other computer but I need it on this one! Please help! I talked with Adobe already and they said that since the product is outdated I needed to visit the forums to find an answer as to why my activation code won't work or if anyone can help with suggestions.     I am having trouble understanding what you are saying.
    Microsoft Office can't run on the iPad, only on the Mac. There should be a 25-digit product key you are asked to enter when you run the installer disc. This code is found on the box it came in. If you are not being prompted to enter this code, try to re-run the installer.

    I'm probably not in the right place for this, but my account was billed for something that I A) Did not buy, B) Did not want to buy and C) didn't even show up in my iTunes download page. What can I do about this?

    i was in the iTunes app and i was looking at some TV episodes and there was a free section. i clicked it and there were a bunch of episodes from the tv show "24" and i clicked download for the episodes that were available. then i went to the home page, scrolled down and there was about 3 dollers missing from the ballance that shows in the ios version of iTunes.
    i would really appreciate someone telling me how i can get that back or is there a way to restore that amount, becasue i clicked download for something that was free and didnt cost.

    Please check your purchase history first to see if the download wasn't for free. Maybe the store credit balance wasn't up to date and refreshed with the free download.

    Did you buy anything from the App Store? All of those stores are connected to the iTunes Store so that's probably why you got something that said iTunes on it.
    If you bought an app, for example, that was $30 you'll probably see "iTunes Store" on the receipt.

  • Why am I being billed for equipment that never worked from the get go, and that your representatives admitted never connected to the computer on your end?

    In September my husband and I were planning a cross country move and we thought that having a Jet Pack to go on line with while we were traveling would be a good idea. When we ordered it we told the representative that we did not need it until the 1st of Oct. as that was when we would be leaving. It arrived on our door on Sept 9th with the instructions to be sure and activate it within 2 weeks or we would lose the line. On the 19th we called in the activation and everything appeared fine. We hit the road on the 1st and Nothing, Na-Da, Zip, Zilch .... The equipment never worked from the get go! We called Verizon from the road on the 4th of Oct. to find out what was going on and the representative told us that the problem was with the computer on Verizon's end. We shut the equipment off for the rest of our trip and called for a refund on the 13th of Oct. We spoke to a representative named Juan, who again confirmed that it was Verizon's computer that had been the problem,  and we were assured that all fee's associated with the Jet Pack would be waived as the equipment never worked in the 1st place. He told us all we needed to do was return the broken equipment and that he would send us a return label. We received the return label and sent the equipment back on the 22nd of Oct. On our next bill no credits of any kind had been applied? We promptly picked up the phone and called Verizon again, on Oct 31st,  to find out what was going on? This time we spoke to Lou Ann. After about an hour and a half she finally managed to remove the fee's, or so we thought, and we hung up satisfied. On 11/5 our Nov. bill arrived again with no credits of any kind. We thought maybe the billing cycle hadn't had time to catch up with our most recent conversation so we called just to verify. This time we spoke to Moncheria. She did not understand what had happened and had to reenter the same refund that Lou Ann had earlier. Again another hour and a half on the phone. Today,11/28, we received our most recent bill and again no credits of any kind??? We picked up the phone and called again. This time we explained to Christian, (the above story), and she put us on the phone with her supervisor Carson. Carson proceeded to tell us that ALL of the previous representatives we had spoken to were wrong and that since we had not returned the equipment within 14 days of receiving it that we were beyond the limits of the refund policy, (which means we would have had to return it before we left on our trip), and the best she could do was offer us coupons for the future to offset THEIR mistake! No thank you I will keep my cash in my pocket!
    1st of all we ordered it for the 1st of Oct. not for 9th of Sept.
    Secondly we were told to be sure and activate it within 14 days or we would lose the line, never any mention of a refund time limit. (Who buys stuff anticipating an immediate refund?)
    And 3d THE EQUIPMENT NEVER WORKED IN THE 1ST PLACE!!
    Now Verizon is asking for $343.34 in fee's for something that never worked in the 1st place!! This is ridiculous and those fee's are defiantly under dispute! The way I see it trying to hold me to a contract that Verizon breached by sending out faulty equipment is just wrong!

Please go to your profile page for the forum, and look in the middle, right at the top where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases".  You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name beside your post, or at the top left of this page underneath the title of the board.
    Under “My Support Cases” you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information.  This should be checked on a frequent basis  as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions. Please keep all correspondence regarding your issue in the private support portal.
