Try adding .epub to the end of the name.
I assume you are aware that to open an .epub file you need a special app, not TextEdit or Pages, right?

I just got off the phone with senior level support at apple. There are two things she had me do to fix this problem.
1. Uninstall itunes and then re-install version 10.7 from the apple website here: http://www.apple.com/itunes/
2. Then go here: http://support.apple.com/kb/dl837, this will take you to the Quick-time version 7.7.3 for Windows page, download & install this version. You will need to reboot after this install and once you have finished you should have no problems opening Itunes.

When printing a multi-page document, my computer only prints the first page. How do I correct this problem?

Using Explorer, I found how to correct this problem by going to "print preview" then selecting an option to print all pages. Firefox does not have the same selection.

This can happen when Firefox has misread the paper size from the information supplied by Windows. Clearing it can involve finding some obscure settings, but here goes:
(1) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste '''print''' and pause while the list is filtered
(3) For each setting for the problem printer, right-click and Reset it. The fastest way is to right-click with the mouse and then press the r key on the keyboard with your other hand.
Note: In a couple other threads involving Brother printers, the preference '''printer_printer_name.print_paper_data''' was set to 256 and when the user edited it to 1 that fixed the paper size problem. If you see a 256 there, you can edit the value by doubling-clicking it or using right-click>Modify.

If someone from Adobe could GUARANTEE that this problem would go away if I
purchased CS4, I would pony up the cash and do it. However, I'm skeptical
about that because I just saw someone else post a message on the forum today
who is running CS4 and getting the exact same runtime error as me.
I'll try un-installing and re-installing as Admin, and if that doesn't work,
maybe I can find a used copy of CS3.
In the meantime, I'm also wondering if a Photoshop file can carry any sort
of corrupt metadata inside it once it has errored out? Reason I ask is, I
had to port all of my old PSD files to the new computer, and I only seem to
be getting this error when I attempt to work on one of the files that
previously got the runtime error when they were sitting on my XP machine.
When I create new files from scratch on this new computer, they seem to be
working just fine (at least, for now).
If so, I would probably be smart to never open those troublesome
"errored-out" files again.

Exporting a Pages document into a PDF format

When I export my pages document towards a PFD format, the arrows to my pictures are changing, change color or move. Anybody know why and how to solve this? I tried a the export qualitiy levels and this did not make a difference. The first one is the PDF version and the second one Pages version

How did you create the arrows?
Line with arrow head in Inspector > Graphic?
What color did you apply to the arrows that change color?
Have you applied a shadow to the arrows?

What happens if you go to iTunes > File > Devices, do you get the option to Sync iPhone?
You could try a reinstall of iTunes. OS X Yosemite: Reinstall apps that came with your Mac

When trying to export a pages document, it say error while printing....

When trying to export a pages document, it says 'error while printing' when I want to save as PDF. I used to be able to do it but for some random reason it won't let me anymore. Even when the printer is not plugged in or turned on it says it. Is there a setting I can change? Does anyone know how to fix as i can't email any documents and I don't know what else to do. thank you, I can't print or save any old pages documents. I will create a new one and see if that helps. I have tried from the print dialog but it says the same thing. I will try something in another application. Could it have been when I updated pages? I only recently got broadband so did a heap of updates that were a bit overdue.

Murray is right. Padding (and margins) is added to the width. However, when using percentages, you should never use figures that add up to exactly 100%.
Browsers need to convert the percentages to pixels. Because pixels must be whole numbers, some percentages are rounded up, which results in the final element dropping down below its neighbours. With percentages, it's much safer to use values that add up to 98% (99% often works, but 98% is safer).

Don't save. Close the documents.
Pages '09 should still be in your Applications/iWork folder.
Pages 5 will damage/alter older files, something Apple didn't tell its users.
Pages 5 is a severely stripped down version with over 90+ features removed.
We recommend trashing/archiving Pages 5 after Exporting any files you may have saved back to Pages '09.
Also rate/review Pages 5 in the App store.

I have a OSX IMAC Version 10.8.5. I got pages at the same time I purchased this computer. I use a document to write all my passwords. Seems like when I E-mail myself the document from pages, I have not been able to type in the document, it acts like it is locked. I checked all the "lock" and "unlock" fields, and none of them were locked. I notice the document says PDF. How do I correct this? Seems like I've tried everything. Which email provider are you using? There are different solutions possible for different providers. Yahoo is having trouble with attachments, outside of any Firefox issue. I've seen a Google user fix this by manually adding the mail URL to their ad block program- which mistakenly perceived the webmail page as an advertisement.
