OS 5 updatee, I can get anything to do what it needs to do. I have added all of my apps to my computer file, even updated those that needed to be updated. When I finally get ready to up date to OS5 and hit the prompt, I am sent to a ;paid that tells me everything that will be updated, but there is nothing on theat page re uiring me to accept. So I close that page and hit download again, and I get to the page again. If I hit syns, I am syncing 1 out of 4, however it barely makes through the 1st backup, or sync---I'm not even sure what it is doing because sometimes it refers to sync, whi;le other times if refers to back up. Can someone help me? I've been working on this now for 2 solid weeks and it is very frustrating. ould I be signed in to my itunes account before I plug in my usb attaching my phone? Should my phone be ON and should I uno that It is completely on? I don't remember having to do this before. I am NOT using a MAC. I.m using Windows 7, just as I always have,.

A few battery tips...
You can start using it out of the box, or charge it, whatever you like, doesn't matter either way.
You cannot overcharge the device, thus you can leave it plugged in as long as you like.
You can and should charge as often and as long as possible... deep discharges are hard on lithium batteries. Normal mobile use will usually result in the one charge cycle/month that Apple recommends although it's OK to fully discharge and then recharge to 100% every once in a while to recalibrate the battery meter.

when conecting to Itunes). Since my updates Itune wont let me drag and drop any files' even pictures that
were taken with my Iphone on 4.3.3.
Please help as we have no itunes music in Israel, only apps and i cant copy any of my old music from my computer
to my iphones.
If it helps, i am using a pc with 32 bit windows 7.
Other from the obove Itunes works fine and does sync pictures from my computer to my Iphone from "my pictures" folder.

The title of my initial post is a bit misleading. I already took a chance deleting one of the iPhones, hoping if I deleted the wrong one, I can still reauthorize it (all with the same Apple ID acct, so not subject to 90-day waiting period, right?) The iTunes database just updated itself, and it says I have 4 "devices" "in the Cloud", but 5 "computers" associated w my account. How can I find out what computers are associated? Isn't there a list I can see? I dont have a clue what computers they might be. If I use the "Deauthorize All" option, is it a pain to add them all back in. I assume I would have to log in from each computer to reauthorize each one. Would I have to be running the newest OS or version of iTunes to reauthorize? I think I have a PowerBook G4 Titanium with an older OS and iTunes. I'd like to keep that authorized, if possible.

Recurring theme with the 4s losing alerts except for the phone ringing. Most complaints seem to center on the 7.1 upgrade. The fix is dodgy, putting in a charger, playing a you tube video then pulling out the charger and wiggling it until you get the sound back. When you get the sound back, the volume buttons start to work again. Alternate solutions involve cleaning the docking port with a toothbrush, running a pick over the electrodes etc.

Having a hard time deleting two junk mail messages! I press edit , I check the message, I try to delete and a screen message appears telling me the message cannot be removed! Not sure what to do here! Please advise?

Did you try swiping across the message in the preview window rather than use the Edit button? If you still can't delete the messages, quite mail and reboot the iPad and try again.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
If that still doesn't work, log into your email in a web browser and delete the junk mail there.
