Just go to the wireless network preferences and empty out all the stored wireless networks.. then scan and connect to the local wireless.
Select them and tap the - button below it.
Once they are emptied out.. it might be good to reboot the computer with the remember networks unchecked.
Start with a clean slate.

I believe you can manage your laptops with one Apple id, but I recommend that you have individual Calling ID's for each laptop. This calling ID is under the "You can be reached for calls at:" line when your in Facetime preferences. This will allow you two guys to call each other on your laptops, plus you don't have to be bothered by people calling him, or visa versa.

My friend bought the Lion upgrade for her MacBook. She would also like to upgrade her desktop Mac which is current running Leopard. Does she have to buy SnowLeopard for her Mac first? Both computers use the same apple ID and password.

With a new iMac i can't print wirelessly to my existing HP or Epson printers. They currently work thru wireless network with my windows desktop. Both printers get the same error: printing job not accepted. They appear ro be recognized by the Mac. Help!

I've looked at many threads and tried suggestions from this site with no success. Neither printer (HP 1010 and Epson Artisan 810) are Airprint supported. in checking the printers via the imac in System Preferences the printer 'kind' is listed as Airprint. I've tried to change with no success. So yes- I need some experts help and suggestions!

It sounds like you are getting this error message when trying to print to a Wi-Fi printer. I want to recommend the troubleshooting in this article named:
Troubleshooting printer issues in OS X

Make sure that the printer is powered on, has ink / toner, and that there are no alerts on the printer’s control panel. Note: If you cannot clear an alert on the printer's control panel, stop here and check the printer's documentation or contact the manufacturer for support.
Ensure the printer is properly connected to a USB port on the Mac or AirPort base station / Time Capsule. If the printer is a network-capable printer, make sure that it is properly connected to your home network.
Use Software Update to find and install the latest available updates. If an update is installed, see if the issue persists.
Open the Print & Scan pane or Print & Fax (Snow Leopard) pane in System Preferences.
Delete the affected printer, then add the printer again.
If the issue persists, try these additional steps:
Reset the printing system, then add the printer again.
If the issue still persists, reset the printing system again. Download and install your printer's drivers. Then, add the printer again.
Contact the printer vendor or visit their website for further assistance.

Have just changed my phone and network. Now have 5c.
Previous I had 4s as does my husband.
When he got his phone he connected it to our Apple Mac and from that point on
Our phones became as one as he did not name his!!! This has been so

As it happens I don't have an iTunes library so can create that at later date.
How do I seperate us now I have new phone ?
Do I get a new apple ID or just name my phone or will it be ok now that we have
different handsets?
Please help I won't want his apps and music and he won't like girly stuff either!

Yes, you can certainly create a new Apple ID at appleid.apple.com (which will have to be associated with a different email address from your current ID) and then change the various settings and applications on one of your iPhones to use this new ID.

One of my team members has access the other one doesn't what's up with that. Both are on the same payment account.

Only trouble is it looks like there's a bunch of editing work I have to do. Before the recent download I had gone through my 500 albums and had everything sorting the way I wanted it. Answers can only be as helpful as the details provided, and there is very little hear to go on. What happens when you try to connect? Is there an error? If so what does it say. How are the devices connected? WiFi, Ethernet? Which ver of ATV do you have? Best guess is that you are using WiFi and the probably go away if you use a wired connection to ATV.

I have multiple in app purchases on my ipad and i downloaded the same apps on my iphone, and signed into gamecenter and icloud but when i go on my iphone nothing is htere except the original app i backed up both devices, but idk what to do after that

We have two Ipod Touches in the Home and two Ipads. Right now one of the Ipads has a separate user indentity. Can both Ipods be used to use the same library with different user ids's and different passwords.

We have two Ipod touches and two Ipads in our home. Right now both Ipods are using the same used id and password to access itunes and sync music. But recently both os us have downloaded the Ibooks segment to our Ipads and now the only way to sync the second Ipad for Ibooks is to use the same used id and password. But the problem is that with our two Ipads in the home, we established two separate used ids and passwords one for each. Is there a way for me to still use the second Ipod touch and the second Ipad with completely separate userids and passwords. In other words to share the music library I have accumulated and yet to sign in each with our separate identities. That way the Ipads can sync and the Ipod touches can sync. Is this possible.

This is to avoid piracy. What could happen is, people could buy music, and give it away for free online. Usually it is then you buy a complete album off iTunes that it will only be available on one device. It is tied to that account, and the device must be registered to that account to listen to it.
