I cannot get signal to my tv from Apple TV. I tried to restore , uptae etc.. no luck.... anyone can help?
Have you tried another HDMI cable? Or HDMI port on the TV.

No, nothing will prevent the computer from going to sleep when you close its display except third-party hacks that are designed to do exactly that. I strongly advise against using any of those, as they may interfere with successful entry into clamshell mode (and they carry other downside risks as well). Just wait until the computer is asleep (with its sleep light pulsing), then press any key on the keyboard. It sounds as though your setup is working as it's designed to do.

How can I acquire signal from the 2 counters on my 6034e board?
I want to record one analog signal and one counter/timer signal with Diadem 8. I have a 6034e board. AI is not a problem, but when I define a counter in Diadem, for one of the two counters of the board, I get no or strange readings.
In MAX, I can only test one feature: pulse counts. So I connect a TTL signal between the source and the digital ground, and it counts a random number, of around 20-30 pulses, for each trigger. Same in Diadem. When I try period measurement (connected at the gate) or others with Diadem, I don't get anything.
I believe my wiring is correct as I'm used to counters with the PC-TIO-10 c/t board. -
How to display multiple signals on the same chart/graph

I have a text file that has 21 different signals acquired through NI DAQ. I am able to read the file and display on the chart but the problem is all the signals have the same dynamic range -6 to +6 so when plotted they all show up on top of each other and one cannot really discern whats going on. Please see the attached image.
I am trying to ask the community for help on how could I display all 21 signals separate from each other so that the user can easily differentiate between signals. I thought about adding offsets to the signals but I dont really want to change the actual data and the data set is already large enough that I donot want to creat copies of data.
I am running Labview 10.0.
Any creative ideas.

Graph Question.PNG 19 KBUsing Stack Plots was my first thought too but it appears to be buggy these days. I know I've used it before with no problems but I can't get it to work now at all. In any case, stacking 21 plots will be futile since you won't be able to see any detail (unless you have a VERY tall monitor). Your best bet is to use property nodes to make the plot of interest become highlighted in some way.
EDIT: I think stacking only works with charts. You can select it on the right-click pop-up menu. Then, expanding the plot legend determines the number of stacked plots shown. Again, since there is so much wasted vertical space when stacking, you'll never be able to see 21 plots concurrently with any detail visible.

I have two Macbooks that are connected to the same Comcast Wi-Fi network modem. One of the computers has become very sporadic in receiving the WI-FI signal while the other is unaffected. Both have same operating system (10.5.8). I have restarted computer, and unplugged and retarted modem on several occassions to no avail--one still works the other inconsistent. Have spent a great deal of phone time with Comcast and they suggest acquiring latest OS. Does anyone know a solution to this problem?
This does not sound to be a router problem...You should try to uninstall and re-install the ethernet adapter/card installed in your computer...Do you have 2 Ethernet Adapter's by any chance...Check the Device Manager, Click on the Start button >>> Settings >>> Control Panel >>> Double click System, go to Hardware >>> Device manager, click on the plus'+' sign next to Network Adapters and see how many Ethernet Adapters are listed...
Also connect that computer straight to your modem and see check if you get the same message,that 'YOU ARE CONNECTED TO MORE THAN ONE NETWORK'... -
How come two signals of the same frequency show on the graph as having the same?

My assignment for school is to build a 2 channel oscilloscope, with generators too. Initially, I tried using a waveform chart, that actually showed a very "ugly" image. Just for testing, I left the chart there with hidden indicator.
The student teacher suggested I use a graph, which is ok, as far as the shape of the signal. The "time" axis however doesn't really show the time.
Thinking that it might show the samples, I put at the "nr.of samples" the reciprocal of the sampling rate multiplied with 1000,000 and the result was the same. The really strange part is that if I'd put two different frequencies for each channel it showed as is the signals had the same frequency.
And that's not the only problem... The while loop everything is in doesn't look like it's executing more than once. Now, I know the vi is pretty large but is that what makes it behave like that?
I also put cursors (like in the example from Fundamentals> Graphs and Charts > Programatically Control Cursors) that should be in the middle of the graph. Since I didn't use a chart, are the values at "Style" or "Pointer Style" different? (I wanted the cursors to be multi-plot).
Can you help me with any of that?

First of all, I would suggest you to synchronize all actions according to data flow concept : try to link all property nodes with error wires... That way, you MAY notice some warnings/errors. Then you should try to group functionalities into clusters, that way your code would be easier to debug...
Then your While Loop runs as fast as possible (which makes your processor to run at 100% all time long), you should consider using a timing function to slow down the loop.
Then using "Graphs", the X-axis will display the number of samples in the array to plot. If you know the sampling frequency of your signal and the number of samples in the array, you can try use "Xaxis.Multiplier" property node to convert the number of samples into time.
Then for your cursors, you should consider using "Cursos List" property node... It's not really cool to program it (lot of options) but it works very well and allows you to deeply customize your cursors.

I have a problem with my iphone 4. My 3G always stays activated but I lose my network signal. The bars all get lost and I'm not able to receive / send sms, mms or phone calls. Could you guys please help me fix this problem? Ios 5.1.1
I haven't gotten a new sim card because the problem has been presenting itself in various cards not only mine. So far, all I've done is reset my network settings.
Last night, I turned off the 3G tab and it had all the signal bars. Today, I did the network reset and it's working apparently. But like I said before, previously the bars just disappear and the iphone only has the 3G activated. -
Ios7 clock app I can no longer see the time or cell signal at the top of the screen.
I just updated to ios7 I have the iphone 5.
I can no longer see the cell signal or time at the top of the clock app. I actually have to leave the clock app to see what time it is or try to read the analog clocks in the time zone section. I have a friend with a 4s, and they can still see the stuff at the top of the screen. Help? I just got my cable company to switch my wireless router to a wired one considering now I have the wireless airport device (the newest one) but now I can't get a wireless signal. The router works when directlyplugged in,the aiport wireless device is green. I've tried going through my new MacBook Pro settings and it the diagnostics check, it says network changes detected, I tell it that it "yes" does connect to a cable modem, it tells me to restart it, after I do it asks if there are any other devices hooked up ( firewall) and when I say no it tells me that it can't fix the problem.
Now I know that I probably have a new IP address because of the cable company switching the boxes but it was working fine with the other box, now there isn't a signal to be had on it!
Please anybody out there that can help!!!??Any time you change networking hardware it is always a good idea to perform a complete power recycle with the new equipment. Check out the following AirPort User Tip. Please post back your results.

The problem would seem to be in the firewall in your router. Have you tried disabling it? I assume you've updated the router firmware, right? Consider bypassing the ISP provided router (using it as a modem only) and unsing another device such as an Aiport Express.

i had recently followed orders to restore my iPhone 3gs (iOS 6.1) from a question on apple support. However it was working fine before that, it's just that my phone didn't have signal. So it said to restore my iPhone and now it says that the Activation server is temporarily unavailable and when i plugged it into my mac, it said that i ddn't have a sim card installed. What can I do to fix this besides bring it to the store? it also bugs me because this answer was supposed to work but it just messed my phone up even more. I have a macbook air and and hdmi that i have used many times, but not all of a sudden the tv won't recognize the hdmi. The computer flashes when it is plugged into the hdmi but the tv says "no signal" and the airplay displays option says "no device detected" and the drop down bar is grey and locked.

My Mac Mini was not sending a signal to the monitor. I powered down using the power button and now it will not start. When i power up I get a strange 2 tone sound, like a warning alarm. The fan starts, and the light comes on, but no screen.
I have tried with a wired USB keyboard and mouse using a single screen. Powered up with option pressed. No change.
Reset SMC no changeRun the Apple hardware test to see what it tells you. Run the extended test when prompted, which can take awhile.
