HT4480 I have an App Store gift card that has been verified as active by tech support however, when I tap " redeem " I get no response at all on my screen. I have tried to enter it in lower case and upper case with no luck. Any suggestions???

My " App Store" card will not load on my I pad. Am I doing something wrong??

I have not seen this issue before, but why are you using 4.3.3 may I ask?

Have a app store gift card use it once, have a balance. Need a code for this card

If you've already redeemed the card then it's balance should be on your account, you shouldn't need to-enter it - I've never had to re-enter any of mine.

I have a gift card that has been redeemed once but still has money on it how do I reredeem it? If possible

Expanding on what Niel said, once you redeem a gift card, the amount of the card is registered in your iTunes Store account and the card can be trashed. All you need do now is log into your iTunes Store account, the one you redeemed the card through, and make purchases. The cost will be deducted from your credit balance automatically.
    A couple of caveats/warnings:
    - you can buy anything in the iTunes Store with the balance other than a gift for someone else;
    - if you don't have a credit card also registered to your account, keep careful watch on your balance so you don't overspend it. If you do, the purchase will go through but you won't be able to download anything else, even free content or items you already purchased, until you add another gift card or a credit card to cover the amount you owe.
    Regards.

  • How can I change a credit card charge to a gift card that has been redeemed?

I purchased items from the iTunes store, and thought I would be able to enter an iTunes Gift Card number when the balance was insufficient.
Instead, the iTunes store charged my Credit Card.  I would like to change this charge to use the redeemed account balance from the gift card.

Click here and ask the iTunes Store staff for assistance.

  • HT201209 Was given an App Store gift card (I don't have any devices for apps, just an iTunes/music gal) what to do?

I was given an App Store gift card (I don't have any devices for apps; I'm just an iTunes/music gal) what to do?
No gift receipt given with card; don’t feel right telling the person “thanks but this is wrong.” Especially since the nature of the thank you gift is from an emotional event for the gift giver.
My assumption is that if I attempt to redeem the App Store gift card that iTunes will apply it to a separate "ledger" for apps only and I will NOT be able to purchase music with the gift money.
I did not do what I did for this person with the thought of "oooh what I can I get in return?" I did it because I felt like it.

Yep, exactly. When you go to buy any of the iTunes Store cards in the Apple Store, they say "All cards work on the iTunes Store, App Store, iBookstore, and Mac App Store. ". So it's just labeling, something which confuses a lot of people.
    Regards.

  • Hi I have an iTunes account with my uk debit card but am currently in Australia, can I buy and use an iTunes/app store gift card in AU$ or am I only allowed to acces the store in gbp£ ?

Hi I have an iTunes account with my uk debit card but am currently in Australia, can I buy and use an iTunes/app store gift card in AU$ or am I only allowed to acces the store in gbp£ ? Cheers

I had the same error when trying to update my apps on my ipod touch. I tried to input my security code numerous times to no avail. I also made sure my billing address was the same as what my bank had on file. To fix the issue I went into iTunes, logged onto the iTunes store, went to account settings and reviewed my recent purchases. Turned out that I had made a recent purchase and didn't have enough money left on my credit card to pay for it at the time. I paid off the credit card, and then input my security code once more and now it works fine. I've heard that some debit or pay as you go credit cards require a minimum balance, so make sure you have at least that amount in your account.

  • I have received a $100 Mac app store gift card, can I use it on the Apple Store website to buy other products?

I recieved a $100 Mac App Store gift card with the Back to School promo, and I was wondering if I could use it on the Apple Store website to buy another product.

The gift card is restricted to use in the Mac App Store and the iTunes Stores. It will not buy Apple hardware on the Apple Store website.

  • Can i use itunes or apple app store gift card to do in-app purchases as a substitute for credit card?

I Heard that you can use the appstore gift card or itunes to do inapp purchases since they serve as credit points in the apple store
i think it could be since amazon appstore has amazon coins that do the same:
    1. Buying Apps
    2. buying inapp contents
    3. (or any hardware or others) not sure about this..
so i thought it must be true of what ive heard,
please confirm and if true, teach me how..
cause i dont have a credit card and its kinda too much to ask others to borrow from others..

iTunes and App Store gift cards are basically the same thing, both are redeemed onto your iTunes account and can be used to buy from the iTunes store, app store, Mac app store on Mac computers and the iBookstore - the cards that you shouldn't buy are Apple Store gift cards, they cannot be used with an iTunes account.
When you've redeemed it onto your account then your balance should show in both the iTunes and App Store apps on your iPad, and your computer's iTunes. On my iPad it shows at the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app under my account id and at the bottom of the Music tab in the iTunes store app (or you can view your account via Settings > iTunes & App Store and it should show on the screen that you are taken to). On my computer's iTunes it shows at the top left of the store's pages next to my id, and by logging in to view my account via the Store > View Account menu option.
If you are trying to download a paid-for item and you don't currently have a balance or other payment method on your account then you will be taken to the payment details screen so that you can either redeem a gift card or enter one of the other payment methods.
To redeem a card onto your account you can use the Redeem button at the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app, or the Music tab in the iTunes store app, on your iPad. Or you can do it via your computer's iTunes, either via the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage
Or by logging into your account via the Store > View Account menu option and selecting the payment details link on your account

  • I bought a $20 App Store Gift Card from Australia and i can't do in-app purchases because my apple id was created in Sri Lanka.

This is what happened: I bought a $20 App store gift card so i can get some gems on my Clash of Clans Account, once i entered the code i went into Clash of Clans and tried purchasing $10 worth of gems. But it says to change into the Sri Lankan Store but when i went to enter the code it said to change the store to Australia. I tried doing it by creating a new Apple ID. Once i went to the billing information i didn't enter my credit card details but i entered my Gift Card Code, although it said it was invalid. I did see i had $20 Credit Balance in my Apple ID. PLS HELP! Reply as soon as possible.

All iTunes gift cards are country-specific, so an Australian iTunes gift card can only be redeemed and used in Australia on an Australian iTunes account. And whilst you are in Australia you can only use the Australian store, the store's terms of use include having to be in a country.
Also all apps (and only other content from the stores) are tied to the account that bought/downloaded it, so only the account that bought an app can do in-app purchases in it - so the new account that you've created won't be able to do in-app purchases in that game as you downloaded by a different account. If you haven't spent any of the gift card on the new account then you could update your old account to have your Australian billing address on it and try contacting iTunes Support and see if they will unredeem the card or transfer its amount to that account : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

Not sure what you are trying to accomplish.
You have given no context at all.
Who is Standard bank?  What do they have to do with anything?
    What prepaid gift card?
What is a Sandton Mall gift card and what does it have to do with Apple or iPhone or whatever your issue is?
You bought an apps store gift card from where?  An iTunes gift card?  What country?
In what country are you trying to use it?
For what are you trying to use it?

  • What is the last day to get $100 App Store Gift Card?

Does anyone know when the current educational promotion (for the $100 App Store Gift Card) expire? I've looked everywhere and can't find it.
I went into the Apple store yesterday to buy a 27” iMac but the configuration I wanted was not in stock and was told I could order it online and have it shipped to the store. This morning I got an email from by Apple Visa saying they have a special 18-month No Interest offer on all purchases over $999 if I buy something at the Apple Store or Apple online store in between 8/15-11/1. I don’t mind waiting, but I was wondering, when does the current educational promotion (for the $100 App Store Gift Card) expire? I’d like to get the $100 App Store Gift Card and the no interest, but if the promotion ends before 8/15 I would have to make a decision on which has a better value to me.

Thanks I found conflicting schedules on the promotion, some say August 20, and some say August 6. But more often then not they have September 6 as the end of the deal. This is great, I have my iMac saved in my cart and I just have to wait 2 weeks to make sure I get the no-interest deal on top of the $100 card. Being able to spread the payments out makes it easier for me to add in some upgrades, hello I7, 3TB fusion, and 2gb video card... my daughter is going to be so happy, and she can load it up with $100 app store gift card.

No. Purchases from the iTunes Store have nothing to do with your phone service and will not appear on the phone bill.

  • TS1292 apple store to app store gift card

My boss bought me an apple store gift card and I was wondering if I could use it in the app store or solely in the apple store/applestore site?

Gift cards do not transfer, so if you have an iTunes card, it's usable only in the iTunes Store, and if you have an Apple Store gift card, it's usable only in the Apple Store. You may be able to use an Apple Store card to purchase an iTunes card, but I'm not sure so you'd have to ask the Apple Store.
    Regards.

  • How to redeem a U.S. $ App Store gift card on a Canadian PC

We spend 6 mos. in Canada and 6 mos. in the U.S.
Purchased an HP PC in Canada and installed Itunes
    Purchased an Ipad in U.S.
Received a U.S. dollar App Store gift card but when I attempted to redeem the card via my PC ITunes it was rejected because the PC
    country is recognized as Canada.
    Help!

You would have to be located inside the borders of the U.S and have a U.S. iTunes account with a credit card issued in the U.S, billed to a U.S. address in order to use a U.S card.
The same is true of each countries iTunes stores and gift cards

  • App Store Gift Card Refund

    Hello
I recently bought an item on the App Store using a App Store gift card and was unhappy with the purchase which has problems with it. I have requested a refund and was sent a email from Apple that said the following...
Recently you reported an issue with Call of Duty® 4: Modern Warfare™ using iTunes Report a Problem. This email confirms that you have been issued a refund of $20.99 for this purchase.
However, when I check my balance in the app store it does not show that I have been refunded. Does this just take time or what?

The App worked to  begin with but within a couple of weeks it was then no longer available, the support was no longer available either, and even the web page was taken down.  It came up as Forbidden on the Server.  So it wasn't working anywhere, so yes, it appeared to me to be a fraudulent App which got people to pay money for it which was then useless.  Am not fighting for more.  Where did I say that.  It cost £19.99 and I expect to have a refund for that amount, not part of it.  Not a Credit to my Account either.  If you buy something in a shop (UK) that doesn't work you are entitled to a refund not a credit note.  Classed as 'not fit for the purpose intended'!
Perhaps here in the UK we have better and clearer consumer rights than in the US.
