Welcome to the Support Communities!
I'm sorry to hear you are having issues with your iPhone. The red End Call button should still be working.
For initial troubleshooting, I would suggest restarting and resetting your iPhone, and also updating it to the latest version of the iOS software, which is iOS 6.1.4.
iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
Restarting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Note: Reset your device only if you are unable to restart it.
Resetting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

Without knowing all of the information we can only guess .... And my guess would be that you did not have the apps selected to sync from iTunes on your computer. If the apps are in iTunes on you computer, select them to sync and sync again.

Same happened here on my iphone 4. I heard it's something about bad meta data in the music files but I've no idea. It seems to be fixed by deleting the music from the iphone and then syncing it back on. No need to reset so far luckily!

VZW to VZW text messages have call back number in every message after Tango update

First of all I want to say how much I appreciate VZW rolling out the WP updates in a timely manner for once (is this the first time they've ever done so, for any phone?), even with the outdated technology (or just the one device), and I'm sure it'll keep us WP faithfulls happy for a little while longer. However I do have an issue with the latest update because it seems like VZW has been affected in such a way that now I have a "Call back at xxx-xxx-xxxx" after every text message received from a Verizon customer. At first I thought it was my friends and family telling me to call them back, and I did (to some degree of annoyance caused me and others) and now its just a plain nuisance. Some web perusing resulted in a few others having the same issue and only on verizon so far
I know who's texting me at any given time because their names are displayed on top and if I want to call them all I have to do is tap the name (and if no name then the number is so displayed), so displaying "call back at" so and so is just unnecessary and only serves to clutter up an otherwise clean nested message history/interface. So my question is there a way to disable this (which I have yet to find) or does VZW know about this error and plan to fix it, hopefully very soon? Or is this an issue with microsoft?

I found the answer to this problem. I think it depends on what kind of phone you have, but I was able to turn off the CB# in the messages. I have a Samsung Stratosphere. I was able to go into Messaging, then the menu icon, then choose Settings. Under the settings there was a choice called Callback enabled. I was able to to uncheck this choice and now my callback number no longer shows up. Hope this helps everyone!

I have a new question: I've now transferred my back up datas to my new iphone. They wanted me to register, so I registered (as my old apple ID) and then they asked if I want to restore backup, I did that too. after the restore back up process, the only things that aren't there were my music and apps! what should I do to get them into my new iPhone?

Call fails after last update

Can anyone help me, after the last update from Apple to my iphone 3g I get call fail after call fail. It is getting embarassing at work where I rolled these phone out.

Standard troubleshooting is
1)Reset: reset your iPhone by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.
2)Restore as new or from backup: see page 141 of the manual for details...http://manuals.info.apple.com/enUS/iPhone_UserGuide.pdf
Note the last sentence of the Restore paragraph... "In iTunes, you can also restore from a backup without deleting data stored on iPhone."

Sudden blank monitor screen after recent update ... Why?

I'm the lucky owner of two ATV2s ... I use one on our regular Sony TV. I works just fine. The other one has been hooked up in an uncommon setup with a 24" cheap Samsung PC monitor. I then use AirPlay to stream audio to a good AirPlay speaker. It has been working so sweet until today when I decided to update the ATV software.
After the update the ATV refused to forward a signal to my monitor. Is there a particular reason why this happen? Should we expect a major move from Apple on TV's or are we not supposed to use Samsung gear in conjunction with Apple gear ;-)

Why did iCalendar loose view formatting on all browsers since yesterday on Windows 7?

iCalendar on Windows 7 formatting view lost from Safari, Firefox, and IE. No background and no style exists. Was ok yesterday. Reboot did not change anything. Any ideas on what is happening?

Hmm. Wish I'd seen your posts earlier, I could have saved you some trouble. It's nothing on your machine. It's a problem at Chatropolis. I am able access a page on one of the two machines, the one at cs10.chatropolis.com. But the one at cs7.chatropolis.com, while the server is there, and can be pinged, sends back a "404 - not found" response.

He's simply mistaken when he says they are coming off your computer. What issue(s) did you have that you have reset Firefox?
Maybe the reset didn't finish properly.
Do you have an "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop or was Firefox not able to move the folder and is it still in its old location?
