Try a reboot press & hold power button & menu until Apple Logo comes on then wait
you will not lose any data.
That may fix your problem.

Fixing an OSMF bug where if it was off-screen, it wouldn't load up until the video was onScreen. This was affecting effects, and we should load up the video as long as either autoPlay=true or autoDisplayFirstFrame=true, even if we're not on-screen.

Does the ext directory have the php_oci8.dll? In the original steps the PHP dir is renamed. In the given php.in the extension_dir looks like it has been updated correctly. Since PHP distributes php_oci8.dll by default I reckon there would be a very good chance that the problem was somewhere else. Since this is an old thread I don't think we'll get much value from speculation.

Iphone 4 set up query have a brand new iphone 4, I have plugged it in using the wall charger and it does not seem to be doing anything. Trying to turn it on it is not working either. Is there some vital part of set up I have missed or is this a dud??

I have just received a brand new iphone 4 in the mail. I have plugged it in using the apple wall charger for around 3 hours now and it does not seem to be doing anything. Tried to plug it into the computer, again no response. Trying to turn it on has not had any success either. Should I be concerned that the screen is blank and not showing a charging symbol?? Have I missed some vital step in set up??

Try resetting the phone:
Press the sleep/wake button & home button at the same time, keep pressing until you see the Apple logo, then release.
Then, launch iTunes & connect your phone...what happens?

I have a brand new iphone. my home wifi router has a mac filter. I can't use my phone until the wifi is set up but i cant set up my phone until it connects to the internet. is there a way to find the mac addreess without getting to the settings menu?

Try turning off Mac filtering temporarily on your router, finish the setup, then turn it back on. Or use another WiFi hotspot, such as an Apple store or a carrier's store. Or McDonalds. Or Starbucks.

Brand new iphone 5 in recovery mode straight out of the box, is this normal?!

Hi all,
I got my new iphone 5 upgrade today, inserted sim card and plugged it in to my laptop to copy everything over from my 4 but when it's plugged in to either the laptop or the charger, the black screen with the silver apple just keeps flashing every few seconds and it won't power on.
I've tried doing a reset (keeping home and lock buttons pressed) and it came up with the connect to itunes screen but this was while it was plugged in to the main charger so as soon as I unplugged it to plug it into itues the screen went blank and it's back to square one!!
**update** the boyfriend managed to get it to the connect to itunes screen and itunes reported that it had detected an iphone in recovery mode and it needed restoring.
So, it this normal to expect a brand new iphone to be in recovery mode?!

Well first just to let you know the "connect to iTunes" screen or also knows as "the usb cable pointing to iTunes" means to connect it to iTunes to initially set the ipod up. Now if you already have done this or dont get the option to try forcing into recovery mode and then restoring the ipod followed in this article. Also make sure your computer and iTunes is up to date with the latest software.
If not i would try connecting it to anther computer with iTunes 9.0.2 installed and then call Apple if that doesnt work since you purchased it from the Apple online store.

So, the day i got my white iPhone 4s 16 GB it already started to turn itself off at all times.
Sometimes every 5 minutes, sometimes every hour.
So, i sent it in since the next Apple Store is a 2 hour car ride from where i live.
The first time it got back to me and the information sheet said that there was nothing wrong with my iPhone and that i probably just synched it wrong.
But the day i got it back it started acting up again. Same Problem as before.
So...i send it in again telling the really nice man at the Apple Support Hotline that i would like to have a replacement for my new but faulty iPhone, he responded that he will see what he can do.
The repair statis quotes that a replacement Phone is pending.. Does that mean i get an all new one??
As the title said my Phone is only 12 years old. Does the 14 days thing from Apple include replacements for Phones which have been sent in for service?

Replacements via Apple tech support are usually refurbished units, not new stock, though none of us here can say with certainty what you will receive. But you will not be able to tell the difference between new stock and a refurbished unit, and refurbished units generally go through more extensive testing than do new units, so getting a refurb may well be better than getting new stock.

Any help appreciated! I recently ungraded to OSX 10.7.5 (Lion) and ever since, I am having trouble with my mail that I did not have before. When I am going through messages and I use the trash button, it sometimes deletes multiple messages that I have not even opened or read yet. I only click the button once. HT4528 Is there a fix for calendar sync issues between iPhone 4S and Outlook?

My boss has an iPhone 4S running iOS 6.0.1 and a Microsoft Exchange 2003 email account and has consisent sync issues with her calendar. The problem only seems to come up with calendar invitations. Usually, when people send her calendar invitations the events get added to her Outlook calendar on her PC but not on her iPhone. More recently she also sent out invitations through Outlook that also didn't appear on her phone. She has also accepted invitations on her phone that did not appear on her PC. The problem seems to have gotten worse more recently.
Does anyone know of a way to fix this? I tried deleting the calendar through the phone's settings and re-installed it but it didn't solve the issue.

There was a reported issue with Exchange and iOS with re-occuring meeting invites. Not only did it cause issues on the device, but on the Exchange server side it created huge logs and high utilization on the CAS. This was an issue on iOS 6.0.x - 6.1.3 (at which time it has been fixed from 6.1.3 on). This was attributed to the iOS version and happened on all devices (not just the 4s).
I am not sure if this is what your employee is experiencing or not - but this is one that we had, and we asked all running iOS 6 to upgrade to the most current release (oddly enough, we did not see this in iOS 5.x devices).

The only path for your device is iOS 7.0.6 since it is iOS 7 capable. As long as you stay on your own protected network you are probably pretty safe. On anyother network, do OT send any sensitive information.

Is there a fix for my imac monitor burning highlights into blue shapes on my screen?

Whenever I leave an image or window open on my imac for longer than 5 minutes the white boxes or white in the images burn a blue shape onto my screen. It is apparent in every program and finder, but overly so in photoshop. Is there a fix for this or do I need to take my computer in? I've tried changing my display settings to AdobeRGB 1998 and turning down the brightness but neither fixed it.

Image persistence on LCDs is not permanent like screen burn on CRTs.

Personally I use a Hot Corner to Sleep my displays when I get up or when I'm not looking something. I also have the Display Sleep timer set to 10 minutes, just in case I get up and forget to use the Hot Corner.

If it's because you were using Office 2004, the eight year old version of Office that was written when Intel processors were not used in Macs, then there will be no fix. Lion dropped support for PowerPC applications, as has been widely reported since Lion's release last August.
You can upgrade Office 2004 to Office 2008 or Office 2011. You can use iWorks 2009 that can open Microsoft files. You can use a number of free applications that are also capable of working with Microsoft documents. You can go back to Snow Leopard, if you have a backup. Or, if you have an external drive or room to add a partition to your current drive, you can install Snow Leopard on it.

You should be able to remove the passcode by restoring the device. Do the following:
1. Connect the device to the computer to which you normally sync;
2. Open iTunes (Note: If iTunes prompts you to enter the passcode, try another computer that you have synced with. Otherwise, go to "If you have never synced your device with iTunes" in http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1212 )
3. Right-click the device in the left column of iTunes and select Back up (read this article on how to restore http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766 )
4. When the backup is complete, select Restore
5. When finished, restore from your most recent backup
To restore read the restore section in this article http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766
If that doesn’t work you will need to perform a factory restore to remove it.
