HT4623 Can't update billing information
I am having problems with downloading free apps in the App Store. I keep getting a message to verify billing info. When I do it says wrong security code, when I am putting in the right info. Please help
that error code happens for three reason here they are
-the code is wrong
-zip code on file with itunes is different then the bank
- you have a outstanding balance with itunes
If the first two are not the reason go to expresslane.apple.com and email itunes asking if you have out standing balance

you should be able to set it to none there -
Becouse of expire of credit card I updated billing information by providing data of new credit card but system just says "We're sorry, the billing information on file could not be used for this payment. Please update your information.". What exactly is wrong?
Are you 100% sure that every detail of your information is the same in each place?
Make sure that EVERY DETAIL is the same in every place you enter your information
-right down to how you spell and punctuate the parts of your name and address

iOS 7 is compatible with the 5th generation iPod touch, and any older iPod isn't supported. As iOS 7 doesn't show up as an update, your device isn't supported -

Hello dear people,
I have recently received an email stating that ''We noticed that the payment method you use for your Creative Cloud membership will expire soon. Please update your billing information to ensure uninterrupted access to your Creative Cloud applications, services, subscriptions, and cloud storage.'' This is because my Debit Card has just expired and my monthly payment for Photoshop+Lightroom is due to be collected on 14th. I would like to add the information of my new debit card, however when I go to 'manage plans' I can not find an option to edit my billing information, only to 'Cancel plan', which I am not willing to do. I would very much appreciate your help in pointing out where and how I could change my debit card details. And maybe also change my country, because I registered with Adobe ages ago, however my country of residence has changed since, but it does not allow me to change my address (country).

After upgrading to iTunes 7.0, I'm starting to notice that I can't update the song information such as Name, Genre, Artwork, etc... My iTunes library resides on a afp volume mounted on an iMac. I've doubled checked the permissions and the logged in account has read/write/modify access to this volume. If I open the the selected song in finder for instance, I can rename the file. If I convert the file to mp3, iTunes is happy to make a copy and can write to the volume but the copy can't be edited either. Selecting "Convert ID3 tag...." on this song result in an error box "Could not convert ID3 tags for all of the selected song. The songs may be write-protected or of the wrong type.". Again, the file is not write protected. What's puzzeling is that not all files are affected. Some mp3's in the collection can be edited while some can't. Anyone experiencing this as well? Any clue?

Trouble Updating Billing Information
I'm attempting to make a purchase of a TV episode on itunes via a Macbook Air laptop and because this is the first time I've used my Apple ID on this device it won't allow the download until I confirm my billing information despite that I'll be using $10.17 I've still got from a gift card I redeemed at the beginning of the year.
I've moved and replaced an expired debit card since last using the account but am unable to submit the necessary changes to my information as it claims to not match my bank records. I'd changed my bank account to reflect my new home address before I even left the previous (It was my grandparents house so it was already ours just in renovation) and a notice unexpectedly appeared by SNAIL MAIL at the address informing that it had been processed. I'd then activated my replacement debit card the moment I received it in September.
So there is no logical reason my "bank record" whatever that's even referring to should not be reflecting the information I'm trying to enter into my itunes account.
What can I do?Yes, this is totally broken. My zip code is 03746, which is not in the iTunes database. This is my CC billing zip code.
Just had the same problem with Zappos this week. I guess I'll just stop buying things until the systems integrators figure out that there is a post office in Cornish Flat, NH with an 03746 zip code. Maybe I should post a photo of a sign from the building or something?
In case anyone with authority actually reads this, FYI: "Cornish, NH" has a post office with zip 03745 - this post office is actually located in Vermont, not New Hampshire. Those of us that live in "Cornish Flat, NH" have our own post office, 03746, which apparently doesn't exist, except I visit it every few days and get my mail, including my CC statements, addressed to 03746. If you have an iPad 1, you can only update to iOS 5.1.1. An iPad 2 & 3 can update to iOS 6.0.

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect to your computer & click on the "Update your device using iTunes".
Tip - You may need to disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily. Then download and install the iOS update. Be sure and backup your iPad before the iOS update. After you update to iOS 6.x, the next update can be installed via wifi (i.e., not connected to your computer).

I can't update my billing credit card, and I don't know who to contact.Seems to have worked on Chrome. Didn't work on FF for me. At first Chrome gave me the same error, but on the second attempt, it worked.

If you're running iOS 5 or later, go to Settings - General - Software update. (use wifi for this)

Here are the last OS versions for each iPod generation:
An original iPod Touch can run iPhone OS 3.1.3
2G model: maximum iOS 4.2.1
3G model: maximum iOS 5.1.1
4G, 5G can run iOS 6.

Sorry but no. iOS 4.2.1 was the last version of iOS an iPhone 3G would run. If you have iOS 4.3.3 on your phone, then unless your iPhone was hacked, you actually have an iPhone 3GS which can upgrade to iOS 6. You can confirm your model here:

I have the first generation iPad, and It seems I am no longer able to update iOS. My applications seem to quit suddenly and my iPad seems to almost be un-usable. Safari seems to be the application that hardly ever works. Is there a solution?
You can't update your iPad past iOS 5.1.1
Many iPad 1 owners reported slow downs with iOS 5.
Under the Settings app, General category under About, how much storage capacity does your iPad have left?
You could try a hard restart or reset by holding down the sleep/on-off button and home button simultaneously.
Once the screen goes black, wait about two seconds, then let both buttons go.
See if this changes anything.
