If you have a external USB enclosure - trying installing your hard drive in that enclosure and connect it to your usb port - restart your macbook while holding down the options key. If you Macbook boots to your desktop then you have a faulty cable. If you get the same error, then your hard drive just died on you.

You need to turn off find my ipad in settings
Then restore to factory settings ipad will then be
as new then enter you Apple ID and password

I just finished another "experiment".
I transcode the whole clip 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 to another ext Western Digital HDD and got the Error -50 too. Problem is this ext Western Digital HDD is Daisy chained to the LaCIe.
So, I tried transcoding to another ext Western Digital HDD connected to my router. And this time NO PROBLEM.
So, I should readjust the FW800 connectors.
What do you mean by the controller of the Firewire ?

Place the iPod in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

You have to enter the Apple ID and password. You are running into the Activation Lock

Still have a problem with paying bill/dd's. As my next bill is due by the end of the week (23/9/11) I will be billed for the whole amount. Due to current circumstances I need to be able to have a monthly budget. This is something I tried to do but without going over old ground this is currently not working. As setting up a DD requires payment of outstanding amounts I am looking for now is options which BT can offer to be able to pay my bill in regular monthly payments. I also have been charged for late payments which is not helping the issue. Could you please clarify what options are available for me to do this? I believe that I have shown 'goodwill' on my behalf to make payments but to stop this from remianing an ongoing problem I would like to resolve this ASAP. Thanks.

My daughter's iPod touch 5 first crashed when listening to iTunes Radio, then it started losing my wifi connection, especially if We went to safari to search. The screen continues to crash, by turning dim then black very suddenly, or green with lines then black. I've rebooted. I've reset. I've tried backing up onto iTunes for a restoration, but have lost many pictures and some apps. One other strange occurrence is that the time has changed on its own. It's like it's possessed. What happens if you tap the home button from that page?
I think you must have push turned on for your mail, and that is the first thing it is trying to do. But from anyscreen, any time, if you hit the home button, it should return you to the home screen. From there, go to settings and do the work on the mail section.
