Your Apple ID is tied to the US store. Log out of the store, then trying logging back in.

In addition to what FelipeV is telling you, I advise you to contact your friend and have him remove the iPhone from his apple id through icloud.com. Otherwise, if in the future you want to update the iOS or restore the iPhone for troubleshooting a problem, you may find that you cannot activate it again due to the feature Activiation Lock in iOS 7.
Once your friend has done this, you should deactivate Find my iPhone on your iPhone iCloud settings and then activate it back with your own Apple ID.

Actually, everyone missed one point, when a device is priced, the cost of icloud storage space for that device is also included in it that is why they are able to give you 5gb each for each user ID, in nutshell there is nothing free coming with apple device purchase, it is paid for. What they are trying by giving only 5gb per user ID irrespective of the number of devices used is pure broadlight looting, they take money from you when you buy each device and give you nothing, This is a case of goods and services bought but not fully deliverd ie apple can be suied for discreminatory treatment towards it's users. I wonder why no one tried this yet in America where everyone sue everyone for petty things..... there is no one to take up this issue? . if tim got any love for the guys who shell out money for the devices his company makes, he should be implimenting this as priority before someone wake up from sleep and sue him.

There is no such thing as an unlock code. Sprint may have processed the unlock, and then requested you restore the iPhone using iTunes to complete it. But that's it. There is no code to enter, and nowhere to enter it any way.

Yes, and, I try to restore. I have the T-Mobile sim card in it just to clarify. It will not let me get passed that, it does not accept the t-mobile sim card. i tried restoring it using wifi, cellular, and i cant get i tunes. I am scared that if i take the tmobile sim card out and put the at&t one in just to complete the restoration process that the iphone will lock again and not read the tmobile sim card, then all my hard work has gone for nothing.
