You can't delete anything from your purchased list if that's what you're asking. You can hide them from view in iTunes (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919), but not on your phone if you're running iOS 6.

You can't.
Return the phone to whoever you bought it from and get a refund. Without the previous owners password you will not be able to enter your own iCloud acount, and when you update the phone, you won't be able to re-activate it as it will be locked to the previous owners account.
You should've checked the phone was not locked to someone else's iCloud account BEFORE buying it.

Airport timing out before it can connect...PLEASE help???
I have a powerbook g4 that is running 10.5. I am trying to connect to a wireless network but it either won't read the signal at all or if it does it "times out" before it can connect. The person at the apple support line told me to check my network settings before replacing my airport card, but I don't even know what that means! Since i'm no longer under warranty she won't tell me anything other than to post here and pray for help.

You may be having problems with interference between multiple networks. You can try a program like iStumbler (http://www.istumbler.net/downloads/istumbler.html) which will identify all the networks within range. Make sure the one you want has a strong signal and that no other networks are on the same channel.
By the way, what it means to check you network settings is to go into system preferences>network and select Airport. Check all the tabs and make sure it is configured correctly. If not, you may need to use AirPort Utility (assuming you are using AirPort) to reconfigure it.

After clearing cash on my mac ( Go to folder: ~/Library/Caches and clear all, than to Library/Cashes and clear all again) applications won't lunch any more..I tried to delete apps like VLC player, firefox.. with app cleaner and again download and install the new one but it's the same..goes for all apps that are not originally part of Yosemite. I have done this cash clean up very often on Maverick without any problems. This time I done it again because I could not open my web site, the server has blocked me and I was trying everything including deleting cash from mac. Please advise me what to do..?!? It sounds like you may have multiple problems, but none of them are likely to be caused by malware.
First, the internet-related issues may be related to adware or a network compromise. I tend to lean more towards the latter, based on your description of the problem. See:

If investigation shows that this is not a network-specific issue, then it's probably adware. See my Adware Removal Guide for help finding and removing it. Note that you mention AdBlock as if it should have prevented this, but it's important to understand that ad blockers do not protect you against adware in any way. Neither would any kind of anti-virus software, which often doesn't detect adware.
As for the other issues, it sounds like you've got some serious corruption. I would be inclined to say it sounds like a failing drive, except it sounds like you just got it replaced. How did you get all your files back after the new drive was installed?

deleteing apps for your ipad is disabled. If you are the owner of it go to Settings>general>restrictions and then turn deletieing apps back on.
If you have a jailbroken iPad that will proberly not work.

I'm trying to delete apps to clear up space. I have several that I no longer use. However when I hold down the app and they begin to wiggle no x's are appearing. I dint want to reset my iPad because I don't want to lose game status on the apps that I do use. How else can I get rid if these apps?

I have iPad 2 with 8.1.1. When trying to delete apps, the crosses appear, the icons 'jiggle' but won't delete, then neither the home button or the power button will work, and I have to leave it for 10-15 minutes until it returns to 'normal'. This has happened the last four times i tried to delete an app.
Hi OldPete71$$$... You are not alone. I am taking my iPad3 to the Apple store later today - I had to wait to get an appointment - for this very problem. This error did not occur until I updated to 8.1.1. I have not tried letting the device sit, I have been doing a hard reboot to recover functionality. If it's any consolation, I *can* delete apps through the iTunes interface, it's just very sloooooow. I can't delete internet shortcuts that I've stored on the home screen this way, though.

YOu won't be able to delete it from your iphone. On your outlook account you'll need to create a different contact folder and move it there, then when you sync your iphone uncheck the sync for that folder you created.

Is this normal working??Try a reset and see if that helps : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

These apps you wish to delete aren't ones that came included with the iPad, are they? Those cannot be deleted. If these are apps you installed, try restarting your iPad:

Hi, when you say you have tried everything... I presume you have gone into Settings > Store and logged out and back in with your account details?
You could try purchasing an app via iTunes to see if its an issue with the device or the account you're using.

My issue is that on my computer she would update her iPhone with Software updates via iTunes.
I have gone and deleted her backups that were still sitting on there.
If I want to update my Apps on my iPhone when due her Apple ID and password request will come up as an option to use that account if I knew the password and it's synced from my Computer even though she has been gone 7 months now. Is it a syncing issue or is her Apple ID stored in my iTunes backups somehow and keeps coming back? Do I need to de-authorize her account from my Computer?
