HT5137 Has anyone ever had just the apple logo come up and then nothing else? I've tried resetting but no go.
I was updating to ios7 and my iPad froze. I tried the restart sequence but nothing.
Keep us updated with what happens after letting the battery fully drain.
If it still remains stuck at the Apple logo, try manually placing and connecting the device to iTunes in disk mode.

Problems installing OS
I have an iMac 21.5 (mid-2010) and I'm trying to install a new hard drive. When I choose the installation disk the Apple logo comes up and it stops there. Then the mouse and keyboard goes dead. I'm trying to install 10.6. Any help would be appreciated. ThanksSince you have a new hard drive, there is nothing on it, so you need to boot from an external source (and probably format the hard drive before installing an OS). Are you booting from the 10.6 install disk? Better yet - do you have a bootable backup clone or at least a Time Machine backup?

My new iphone 4s would not discover bluetooth. I called apple, and the guy was great!!! He told me to hold the top button and the home button together and do not let go until the apple logo came up, this would do a hard reset. Then when it reboots, you turn on your bluetooth in paring mode, and then turn on the bluetooth on your iphone 4s and it will find your bluetooth device. Simple, yet it works!!! Hope this helps those of you having the same problem I was having trying to connect your bluetooth.

just updated my iPhone 4s to ios6, now my phone won't turn back on. The apple logo comes on and sits then shuts off. Then comes back on and just sits.I have held down the home button and on/off switch several times to reset, but same problem persists.
Place iPhone on Wall Charger for at least 10 minutes. Then keep on charger and Reset, hold both home and power buttons until the iPhone begins to start, this can take about 20 seconds of holding both buttons while on charger. If still problem, open iTunes 10.7 on computer, connect iPhone to computer with USB Cable, hold both home and power buttons for about 20 seconds until iTunes recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode, then click Restore button of iTunes. If still problem, try DFU Mode Restore, here are the steps. Open iTunes on computer. Connect iPhone to computer with USB cable. Hold both Home and Power buttons, after exactly 10 seconds release the Power Button, keep holding the Home button until iTunes recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode, usually about 20 seconds time. If the iPhone screen is black, blank this is DFU Mode. Click the Restore button of iTunes. DFU Mode can be difficult to enter sometimes, just keep trying. DFU Mode is a black, blank screen with iTunes saying Recovery Mode. If still problem and there is Warranty or AppleCare make Genius reservation and take to Apple for resolution.

I purchased a refurbished MacBook Pro (MACBOOK PRO APPLE MD385LL/A)
I did go to newegg and purchase / install 16 GB of RAM
It worked fine for the first week or so, now I shut down and when I restart - it starts - then the apple logo comes up and it looks like it wants to continue - then a white screen comes up and stays.
This just started.
I got this fix from on line
Shut down the computer.
Plug in the MagSafe power adapter to a power source, connecting it to the Macbook if its not already connected.
On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time.
Release all the keys and the power button at the same time.
Press the power button to turn on the computer.
It works most of the time How do I fix this permanently? Can you try putting in the old RAM to see if the problem persists?

Hello warhogs17,
After reviewing your post, it sounds like the iPhone will not turn on past the Apple logo. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help the issue.

Iphone 4 will not start up....the apple icon comes on and then goes off and then comes on and then goes off continuously....any ideas?
1. Try doing a hard reset:
Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/wake button simultaneously for about 15 seconds and release when the Apple logo appears.
2. If that doesn't solve it, use: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808
Using this article will erase everything on the device, so make sure you have a backup!
If you get specific error messages/codes in iTunes when updating/restoring, check this: http://support.apple.com/kb/ts3694 for causes and solutions
Good luck

My iPod Touch shows the Apple logo splash screen and then turns off.
When I turn my iPod Touch on, the Apple logo is shown and then it turns off. After a few seconds, it shows up again. It continues to do this non-stop. Is there anything I can do? Any help would be greatly Appriciated
Let the battery fully drain. It may take awhile. After charging for at least an hour. If the iPod does not cycle on and off any more try:
iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
Otherwise it appears you have a hardware problem and an appointment at the genius Bar of an Apple store is in order. -
I tried to update my iPod 4th generation while it was charging and when I came back to check on it the screen was red and it wouldnt go off, and my ipod wasnt charging like it was supposed to. I found out how to get the color of the screen off but my ipod always has the low battery thing and when I charge it sometimes the screen turns blue or the apple logo comes up bright and then it gets dim and stays there. My ipod wont turn on, and I really want it to work again. Help me please! Also, I noticed my ipod battery hasnt been lasting long as it should efore this happened.
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order. -
I was adding music and getting ready to sync so I plugged in my iTouch and the screen went blue and the apple logo came up with looks like a download line but nothing is downloading, How do I fix this??

Please help, my iMac will not start up, the apple comes up and the wheel goes round but then I am left with a blank white screen. Has anyone any ideas.
Locate your original install disk (it's grey) and use it to restart your iMac by holding the "C" key during startup. Use the disk utility to repair your harddrive.

I have already tried to start in safe mode. No go. I tried the single mode option as well. Volume ok. I don't have the os x disc. The computer was given to me because they could not fix the problem. Not computer smart. Does anyone have any ideas?
Apple may still supply the original restore CDs/DVDs for a nominal fee. Have your serial number and model information available when you call them. You do not have to be the original owner.

dropped my iphone...getting nothing..let it charge foe a day and still nothing.
Since you dropped and damaged your phone, you've voided your warranty. As such, you can bring it in to Apple for an out of warranty exchange, which will cost 199.00 USD. Or, since it's now out of warranty anyway, you can Google an iPhone repair shop in your area and see if it will cost less than that for repair.

Has Anyone Ever Had All There Music Deleted Off I Pod Then Not On I Tunes Account Either?
Has Any One Ever Lost All Music And Not On I Tunes Account Either?
The problem is I am an importer of French Antiques and only come out twice a year with a container. I hold a sale for one month only!!! The nature of the antiques is such that I have to spend 6 months looking for items, especially at the right price as the retail market is very poor at the moment. I then contact my customers who are interested in Antiques (ony 2-5% of the poulation) and they come to look or collect anything that I have purchased for them. I have lost over 60 new contacts in the last three weeks when my contacts list dropped off.
