I can not buy anything because I forgot the answers to the security questions. I tried answering them but failed. What can I do!!!!!

I forgot the security questions and also the password (and even account id, sequrity questions,... becouse I didn't use for a long time) for security info email of my apple id. Now I want to change the security info email with another. What Should I do?

Even if I'm not despertate, creating a new Id is good Idia. But I think I must create another email address also since I can't use the first email adress as an apple id for the new one. That means I should check everyday the new email address also, that is making life complex. Better to try the 1st solution. Thank you very much.

The reset link will only work for the rescue email address that you currently have on your account. If it's wrong (you won't be able to change it until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

When they've been reset you can then use the steps half-way down the page that you posted from to correct your rescue email address for potential future use

hey, how do I reset my security questions? i done it before many times but today i forgot the security question answers. also, I've been using the same devise everytime which is my ipod touch.

Read the HT5312 page that you posted from, it has instructions for how to reset them i.e. if you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) on your account then steps 1 to 5 half-way down that page should give you a reset link.
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer your questions) then you will need to contact Support in your country to get the questions reset.

If you decide not to provide a rescue email address, you can't reset your security questions and answers yourself later in the event you can't remember the answers to your questions. You'll need to contact iTunes Store support to have your questions and answers reset.

Yesterday was attempting to download music.my daughter used her itunes account and added the $30 i had purchased. since she had not used the account ina while she forgot the security ? and it locked us out for what the rep said would be 8 hours..

yesterday I attempted to download music after purchasing $30 itune card from my daughters laptop..It cam to thje point where it asked 2 security questions and we were incorrect both times since she had not used it in 4 yrs..It locked us out. Had a rep call and he could not help since it was blocked. he sadi it would take up to 8 hours to go back in and we can changed the security ?s...How do I get there to do that?

Please go to your profile page for the forum by clicking on your name, and look at the top of the middle column where you will find an area titled "My Private Support Cases". Contact applecare support at 800-275-2273, ask for someone in account security - to reset security questions. After the advisor verifies your identity, they can reset your security questions.

The option to send reset info only appers if you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account. Or you can email iTunes Support at iTunes Store Support.
If all else fails:
Go to: Apple Express Lane;
Under Product Categories choose iTunes;
Then choose iTunes Store;
Then choose Account Management;
Now choose iTunes Store Security and answer the bullet questions, then click Continue;
Sign in with your Apple ID and press Continue;
Under Contact Options fill out the information and advise iTunes that you would like your security/challenge questions reset;
Click Send/Continue.
You should get a response within 24 hours by email.
Another user had success doing the following:
I got some help from an apple assistant on the phone. It is kind of round about way to get in.
Here is what he said to do and it is working for me...
on the device that is asking you for the security questions go to "settings", > "store" > tap the Apple ID and choose view"Apple ID" and sign in.
Tap on payment information and add a credit/debit card of your preference then select "done", in the upper right corner
sign out and back into iTunes on the device by going to "settings"> "store" > tap the Apple ID and choose "sign-out" > Tap "sign -in" > "use existing Apple ID" and you should be asked to verify your security code for the credit /debit card and NOT the security questions.
At this time you can remove the card by going back in to edit the payment info and selecting "none" as the card type then saving the changes by selecting "done". You should now be able to use your iTunes store credit without answering the security questions.
It's working for me ...I just have to put in my 3 digit security pin from the credit card I am using.
