Could someone tell me how I can move all my saved messages from my Outlook into my mail as I wish to only use mail in future.

I Wonder if your sitting there laughing at us as if there is some big conspiracy about selecti all and deleting all from our iPhones and iPads.
The conspiracy.
Why can we not just not select all in the mail inbox and then delete all, if we do not want to delete every single one of them then deselect the few that we do not want to delete instead of having to select the thousands we do want delete individually.
And if you do make a mistake and delete the wrong emails by selecting all, then go to your trash and reinstate the ones you did not want to delete
I think 99% of us know how to DELETE emails individually, as you put it.
That's just sarcasm and if not then then your not fully understanding the question asked.
I would also say that probably 99% of us want to be able to select all and delete all if that's what we desire.
I would just like a honest answer of why we cannot select all delete all rather than giving me a load of rubbish about encase we delete something we didn't want to delete.

Here is an easy way to move your messages from Phone Memory to Memory Card or from Memory Card to Phone memory In Nokia models.
1- Install latest version of Nokia PC Suite and connect your set.
2- Open Nokia Communication Centre. (Select Phone Memory or Memory Card from which you want to move messages to other memory)
3- Select all messages in a single folder (Inbox/Sent Items or from My Folders) and click on file> export. This will create *.csv file.
4- Download NBU Explorer 1.8 from http://www.soft82.com/download/windows/nokia-nbuexplorer/ (You must have installed Windows Installer 3.1 and Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5 to run NBU Explorer. You can easily download these from Microsoft Site,)
5- Open *.csv file in NBU Explorer and click File > Export All. (Your all messages will be exported as *.vmg files.)
6- Disconnect and connect your phone again in Nokia PC Suite.
7- Now set your target memory in your phone for messages.
8- Open Communication Centre and Select your desired folder then click on file > Import messages by selecting multiple messages *.vmg files. (You don’t have to import messages one by one but you can import all messages in a single folder at once)
9- And you have done it.
10- You can import *.csv list in Nokia PC Suite rather *.vmg files, but in this case, all the spaces (blank spaces) in your messages will be lost. All the text of your messages will be merged to a single line. So exporting via NBU Explorer is recommended.

How to move status messages?

Ok I am aware that Google Chrome and IE have the same issue (The fact that both IE and Firefox has decided to emulate Google chrome is disturbing to me.) But that aside, many sites I visit have dynamic content in the lower left corner of the web page. Status messages from the browser overlay this content.
How can I move the position of the status messages to the right bottom corner?
(And yes! when you had an actual status bar these messages did not interfere with the web page)

You can use a custom style rule to force it to the right (normally it appears on the left for left-to-right languages unless it would impinge on a link you are hovering):

Custom style rules can be applied to Firefox by creating/editing a userChrome.css file (see: [http://kb.mozillazine.org/UserChrome.css]) or using the Stylish extension ([https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/stylish/]). More detail on those if needed.
But the above rule doesn't prevent the message from obscuring whatever is behind it. To move the message off the page and back into a proper status bar, you might consider https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/status-4-evar/

How to move saved emails from pc to iPad?

my wife is moving from a pc dosbox to my old ipad2.
She has saved mail in catagories on her pc. The catagories moved to the ipad, but the content of each did not.
Any ideas how to move content to the ipad?

ps: the ipad was synced to my MacPro, not the dosbox. But the mail box from her hotmail transfered the catagories.

How to remove saved messages

I have 6gb of messages(saved) on my phone, and I have deleted every text on my phone.

I have figured it out how to delete the (saved) messages, you simply go on the conversations. Press and hold the text and it should come up with Copy, More. Press More and you should see on the top left that says Delete all. I did it and it went from 2GB down to 100MB.

Did you try select the emails, drag and drop on the Trash Folder?

The Part interface that the Message class implements describes 3 ways for getting the content of a message. To use an Input Stream, you can call the getInputStream() method on the message itself, rather than System.in.

Can anyone tell me how to move my email addresses from Mac Mail to Thunderbird

Hi all.
I've been having so many problems with Mac Mail that I decided to give Thunderbird v17 a go. It automatically imported my emails and account settings but hasn't imported my email addresses. I know they'll automatically be added as and when I reply to incoming emails but I assumed there would be some way of adding my existing contacts in one go. Searched the net for a solution but came up empty-handed. Any help you can give me will be much appreciated.

Can't move imported messages to inbox on Mail

I just finished importing my lifetime of email from Eudora into Apple Mail 4.5. My Eudora IN box became just another mailbox called "in" in Mail. I am trying to move the messages from this mailbox to the Inbox of Mail, but everytime I try to this I get the following error message:
The message could not be moved to the mailbox “(null)” The destination mailbox does not exist.
But of course it exists! It Mail's default inbox.
Can anyone help me figure out what to do?

Is this the Inbox of a POP account? Try using Rebuild on both the account Inbox, and this import mailbox. Rebuild found in the pull-down under Mailbox.

Hi, I use gmail and want to delete the messages in my all mail folder. Whenever I empty my trash, the mail keeps popping up in my all mail folder. I don't like this!

hullabaloo, we appreciate this device info! Should definitely be possible. If you go to your Voicemail Box, you can select Delete>on the bottom right hand corner, the option to choose Delete All should appear. This way you can delete them much quicker.

PC Mac: How to move "saved photos" album?

I am moving my iTunes library from my PC onto my MBP and I need help on moving my ENTIRE iPod touch's content off its iTunes onto my Mac. I have done the songs/apps/podcasts via the "Share" option.
Anyways, I want to sync my iPod Touch w/ my MBP's iTunes asap and just need help so the pictures (from the "saved photos" section transfer over as is; I have over 6200 of them, ahem.
Unless, of course, the "saved photos" album stays the same even if you switch to another iTunes or would it get erased when synced to a new library? I HATE ITUNES FOR THIS VERY REASON. They need to come up w/ a more efficient to transfer iTunes-to-iTunes, the hassle is way too much.
I would love if anyone has better ideas on how to switch iPod touch content over from a PC iTunes to a Mac iTunes.

Photos on your Touch don't sync with iTunes but with photo programs such as iphoto or Photoshop elements. If you've never done this then photos saved on your iPod are only on your iPod. iTunes will backup your iPod, including your photos, when you sync with iTunes but you won't be able to browse them on your computer this way.
If you've moved over your entire iTunes library as mentioned above then you will be able to continue syncing and backing up your iPod with it as normal.
