The lock with a circle is usually the rotate for your screen etc.
Do you get an error message when trying to connect to any WiFi's?

Restore iPod from Disk Mode
Disconnect iPod from your computer.
Manually put iPod into Disk Mode.
Open the latest version of iTunes and connect iPod.
Restore iPod.

I went away for a weekend and when I came home my iphone would not connect to my home wifi. I have tried everything I could think of. Reset the phone, the network settings, the router everything that I could possibly think of. Other devices will connect to the wifi but just not the phone.
Remove all power from the router for about 15 seconds. If that doesn't fix it check if you have MAC filtering enabled on the router. If you do the iPhone needs to be added to the Allowed list.

I am still having problems with my music videos freezing (all purchased on iTunes) since the update. The first day of the update, no problems...played 6 hours of music videos and no freezing. As for question #2, you call tell how iTunes is sorting songs by the up or down arrow next to a header name.
Even the original order that the songs were entered or date added or last played can be sorted.
Much easier with a mouse or touch pad. -

It's Orientation Lock, which will kee the screen from rotating when you rotate the device.
It's accessible from Command Center- swipe up from the bottom of the screen. You should see the icon to turn Orientation Lock on or off. -
