I have the same question here, cheged my password over iforgot.com and it still the same.
Maybe I need to use the old password to unlock my iPhone?
I also went to icloud.com/find and there's nothing there.
But my device still locked.
Any idea?

It's a really bad idea to post your email address and IMEI number - it's an invitation to spam and a security risk - and I've asked the Hosts to remove them.
Are you saying that the phone is locked because the previous owner left his ID on it? If this is the case only he can unlock it, either by giving you the ID and password, or by removing it from his list of devices (see the page you came here from). If you cannot contact him and get him to do this you will be unable to use the phone.
Or are you saying that you locked it and have forgotten the ID? In that case please see

Please follow these steps in order to get it working properly again.
Please change your Apple ID back to your old email address (that you used as Apple ID before) here:http://appleid.apple.com
Then go to all your devices - iPhones, iPads, Mac etc. - ("Settings > iCloud") and delete your iCloud account from this devices (+ turn off Find My iPhone, but I guess it will ask you that anyway)
After that go back to http://appleid.apple.com sign in again, and now change your Apple ID again to your new email address.
Finally, set up your iCloud account on all your devices again.
Now, everything should working properly again.

You don't. Take it back to them and ask them to unlock it. If they refuse, or if they have now vanished off the face of the earth, you own a brick. There is no way past the activation lock without the proper credentials.

Ipad continues to use my old Apple ID and password. I can't remember the password. I have created a new Apple ID but icloud is still locked up with the old one. Help.

Last week I changed my Apple ID. I was having some problems with getting "incorrect ID or password" message. sometimes it would accept my info and sometimes it wouldn't. I got tired with messing with it and decided to just create a new Apple ID and password. The new ID has worked ok, but my icloud account still comes up with my old ID. I tried to change that but couldn't without signing in with the old ID. I did several times but I always get the message "incorrect Apple ID and password". I tried using other password but nothing worked. Now I'm not sure what the password is. I have asked for a password reset to be sent to me but nothing comes ( using my regular email ). I have tried using the secret questions and I get them all correct except my birthday doesn't jive with what they say. I really need some ideas. My icloud account is essentially locked to me and isn't backing up my stuff. that's about all I can think of to tell you.

I got the "wrong answer", so the next time I asked for an email authentication. I am still waiting. I don't know what the usual time for waiting normally is. I am still waiting for an email reply from three days ago. I'm not going to hold my breath. My ipad is out of warranty but I may have to beg for help from support? I'll wait awhile longer. You have run into Activation Lock. Without the requested AppleID and password,
you will not be able to activate the iPhone. Return it for a refund if you can.

How can i restore an iPhone 5 from Recovery Mode loop with broken lock/sleep button?

I just tried to delete all my data from my iPhone 5 32gb iOS 7.0.4 (with not working lock/sleep button) to install iOS 8.0.2 and after that the loading bar appeared on the screen. When it finished, the iPhone rebooted and went into Recovery Mode loop and it is still in it (after 3 hours +). Also, iTunes doesn't detect the iPhone at all.

Earlier this evening I finally decided to update my iPhone to the 5.1.1 software. However after it freezing slightly it appeared to update normally and requested to plug into iTunes. On doing this the "iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery" message appeared and asked me to restore. However I have recently been on holidays and hadn't had chance to back them up to my laptop yet and I understand that by restoring you lose all data that isn't backed up. Is there any possible ways of saving my photo's any help would be much appreciated as I am completely useless with technology!!

when you plug in your phone to your computer, do you not see a autorun box, that ask you to view folders or contents in your phone. then you can import your pics to your PC. Take a look at the link

Can i get my songs back after recovery mode?

the music i had in my iphone wasnt bought from the itunes store i just copied them from my blackberry, i was having trouble with my phone so i decide to put it into recovery mode and once that was done, i did a restore and everything came back except my songs. Is there a way i can get them back?
