    Hello tgvgoffart,
    Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with verifying your Apple ID.  I recommend resending the verification email using these steps:
    You can also resend the email verification if the email address is not verified:
    Sign in to My Apple ID to manage your account information.
    Click Resend under Primary Email Address.
    Verify your changes by following the link in the email you receive from Apple, then signing back in to your account.

  • Hi everyone,I've. Had my iPad for over 2weeks now ....and still haven't received the email to verify my Apple ID can anyone tell me what else can I do? Thank you

    I have registered for my new Apple ID for ver 2weeks and I still haven't received the email with the verification code What can I do?

    To get rid of "pop-up ads and other crap on my computer when I am on the internet", click on Safari in the Menu bar, and select Preferences. Next select Extensions. Delete all of them. Restart Safari.
    The first step in addressing the black screen is an SMC reset.
    Shut down the computer.
    Plug in the MagSafe power adapter to a power source, connecting it to the Mac if its not already connected.
    On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time.
    Release all the keys and the power button at the same time.
    Press the power button to turn on the computer.
    Note: The LED on the MagSafe power adapter may change states or temporarily turn off when you reset the SMC.

    Ok, I'm new to this forum but here is my problem
    Usually I can read Email using my primary Apple E-mail account BEFORE I updated my Ipad into IOS 8.
    After I updated my Ipad into IOS 8 (non-jailbreak and from IOS 5 jailbreak), My Ipad says that I need to sign up an Icloud email to use the Mail App.

    When I signed in with my primary apple Email account and opened my Mail App, It used my Icloud email instead my primary apple email.
    I tried everything Include making an email aliases but my primary apple email uses @Yahoo.com and I can only use aliases of @Icloud.com
    Can someone please help me so I can read E-mails when people send an Email to my primary apple account? Because I need to see those subcription mails and change my password of my online game account(<- This one is URGENT).
    And sorry for my bad English because I'm Indonesian.

    Welcome to discussions,
    go to settings/mail, contacts.../your mail account/outgoing mail server settings/ and see if you put in the needed password to access your mail server.

  • Are socket needed to send emails?????

    hi guys,
    lets say i need to send an email notification everytime i finish doing a cetain task....do i need to create and use a socket to send these emails????
    thanks in advance for any help...
    lost and blur.
    Below are the codes to send email:
    (So are socket needed???)
    public void execute(String mailto, String mailcc, String mailsub, String mailbody){
    //session object inside the catch block also(in case of DCOException).
    DCOSession ds = null;
    try{
    ds = new DCOSession(); // Create new DCOSession object
    ds.login("erstest02"); // Log in as current Notes client user
    DCOMail dm = new DCOMail(); // Create new DCOMail object
    dm.setDcoSession(ds);// Pass DCOSession to mail
    //dm.setDebug(true);
    dm.setSendTo(mailto);
    dm.setCopyTo(mailcc);
    //dm.setBlindCopyTo();
    dm.setSubject(mailsub);
    dm.setBody(mailbody);
    //System.out.println("before mail sent");
    dm.send(); // Send the mail
    ds.logout(); // Log out of the session
    System.out.println("mail sent to "+mailto);
    }catch(DCOException e1){
    e1.printStackTrace();
    try{
    if(ds!=null){
    ds.logout(); //Log out of session even if exception is thrown
    }catch(Exception ee1){
    System.out.println("Exception thrown while trying to logout of session");
    ee1.printStackTrace();
    }catch(Exception e){
    e.printStackTrace();
    try{
    if(ds!=null){
    ds.logout(); //Log out of session even if exception is thrown
    }catch(Exception ee2){
    System.out.println("Exception thrown while trying to logout of session");
    ee2.printStackTrace();
    }

    lets say i need to send an email notification
    everytime i finish doing a cetain task....do i need
    to create and use a socket to send these emails????Yes, sockets are needed to send emails. However, you don't need to deal with them yourself. You can use the JavaMail API. It will hide those low level details from you and let you deal with concepts that are related to sending emails--addresses, contents, servers, etc.

  • I need to backup emails so I can uninstall and reinstall TB how?

    TB will not let me send emails. I can receive, but not send. I have double checked the settings and even conferred with my ISP who also can't figure it out. I have resigned myself to having to export or save my emails (I have several email addresses) uninstall TB and then reinstall it to regain a working copy.
    TB has slowly deteriorated over the past few months. Today I had issues with 3 out of 5 of my email accounts. one gmail and the others from my local ISP.
    How can I export the messages in a format that will allow me to bring them back into an email program?
    I've gotten various error messages and believe the TB software has been corrupted. IMHO the only fix is to reinstall a clean copy........
    How can I make sure all traces of this copy are gone?

    Basically your issue will not be fixed by reinstalling.
    HAving said that, most send issues once incorrect settings are excluded arise from anti virus programs (they are not all that good at mail on the whole.)
    A standard diagnostic is to restart your computer in safe mode with networking and see if the issue resolves. If it does then anti virus changes are indicated until a working arrangement is found (Personally I just turn off email scanning, as it offers only marginal protection for maximum issues)
    Restart the operating system in '''[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Safe_mode safe mode with Networking]'''. This loads only the very basics needed to start your computer while enabling an Internet connection. Click on your operating system for instructions on how to start in safe mode: [http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/windows-startup-settings-including-safe-mode Windows 8], [http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/start-computer-safe-mode#start-computer-safe-mode=windows-7 Windows 7], [http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/start-computer-safe-mode#start-computer-safe-mode=windows-vista Windows Vista], [http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/windows/xp/all/proddocs/en-us/boot_failsafe.mspx?mfr=true" Windows XP], [http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1564 OSX]
