My co-worker has given me his iPod to take home and transfer his music to my laptop, however, I am unable to access his music to download it to my computer. How does this work?
You need to transfer the iTunes Library from the most recent backup you made before the hard drive was replaced.
You can't transfer the full iTunes Library from the iPad back to iTunes.
There are third-party Windows applications that will transfer data from an iOS device, but they don't re-create the iTunes Library exactly as it was before. -
I just received a new macbook pro. I am looking for a usb3 external storage 500 GB drive. Some manufacturers of drives aren't for sure their drive will work with the new system. Does anybody have any suggestions for drives that will workw
There seems to be a problem, just now, with the USB 3 ports on the new MBP's supporting eternal USB 3 drives. Some people have no luck at all - can't even recognize the drive - and some are reporting USB 2 speeds (those who drives are recognized). I'd call a dealer such as LaCie or OWC to see if they have USB 3 drives that actually work with MBP's with USB 3 ports. You may have to wait for a software/firmware update.

I updated my iPhone with the new update..and then it turned off...instead of turning back on it tells me to plug it into iTunes..and when I do iTunes tells me that my phone is in recovery mode and needs to be restored..is there anything I can do without restoring it?
Same thing happened here ~ tech guy at a local authorized Apple repair store said it had something to do with improper backup from which the restore would be made. Still have a phone that asks to be connected to Itunes but won't do anything else . . . frustrated.

How do I take screen shots with the new update iOS 5 on my iPad and iPhone?
When I try to take screen shots on both my iPad and iPhone they both come up with the screen to shut down the devices. I've updated both with iOS 5. Any clues on how to take a screen shot with iOS 5?

Press and hold the Home button and use the on/off or sleep/wake button as a camera shutter button for the screen shot.
Or while pressing and holding the on/off or sleep/wake button before the slide to power of appears, use the Home button as a camera shutter button - this must be done before the slide to power off appears. -
How long does it take to install the new iphone update, my iphone is been stuck at the same % for over a hour.
The update should not take more than 5 minutes to download and update.
I would recommended pressing on the sleep/wake button for a few seconds untill you see the 'slide to shut down' bar. Shut the device down and try again. -
With the new update, can you send emails with pictures from Photos?
I haven't updated my iPod Touch. Just curious about the Mail program. Does it work like iPhone that you can send photos from your Photos?

I failed to register on photoshop in time. How can I work with the photos I have there?
I already have photos on my computer in Photoshop but I failed to register within the time limit, so now I cannot do anythiing with my photos. How can I get to use my photos that I already have on photoshop? I am just now signing up for an account on Photoshop.

Your photos aren't stored in Photoshop. They are stored on the hard drive, they only open in Photoshop.
Check your hard disk for the photos you're searching for.

With the new update OS 10.3.1.1565, my bluetooth wouln't turn off.

I haven't seen an issue where Bluetooth won't turn off...seen it where it won't turn on.

Restore it thru iTunes. At the prompt about using a backup, choose the other option to set up as a new iPhone.
Or, go to Settings/ General/ Reset/ Erase All Content and Settings, then don't select a backup.
