hey man no need to go to any nokia care....its just you are not able to work up the code...
try this solution first :
hope you would have got a usb mouse at your place....use the usb on the go to connect a mouse and use it to enter the code ...voila and you are done...you can also use it to soft reset your phone in case the touch screen doesnot work...

I just got a new iPad 3 and the touch screen drag and select feature has stopped working.

Now, in order to select, I have to click an icon or link (this brings up a box around the icon/link) then double tap to select it. Pretty sure it is a setting or feature I activated. Anybody know how to fix?

if it only happens on one specific video, has it occurred to you that the issue is very likely that video, not an issue with the iPad?

I can not do either. when I insert a memory card the screen does not change either so unable to print pics directly from the printer it will work from the computer so it works fine that way. what should I do or what needs to be fixed? Try the stamdard fixes to rule out a software problem:
- Reset. Nothing will be lost

I can't do that as the top half of the touschscreen is unresponsive. any suggestions? teaches me to use the backup services offered in the future, but i still need a short term solution for this time.

I'm sorry to hear your screen is cracked spence425. I know its difficult to use the phone while its damaged. I'm happy you are receiving a replacement device. Have you saved any of your pictures and other data to the cloud? Here is a link about the cloud http://vz.to/1mF0GIx . Unfortunately, you will be unable to remove any data from the phone if the screen is unresponsive but if you are looking to transfer data to your new phone, it would have needed to be saved via the cloud first. IOS7 installed OK to my iPhone 4S and worked OK for a while but I have somehow managed to completely jam my iPhone 4s. The touch screen won't work except for up and down gestures (some of the time). I can't make or answer calls, I can't even power if off. I can't access the hardward ID which Apple support seems to require for Chat.
It might have happened when I was accessing my camera bypassing the lock screen!
All I know is that the thing is now useless and it looks like I will have to wait for the battery to run down to see if powering it back up afterwards will solve the problem.

I have since discovered the "hold down home key and power button" together for a few seconds and this seems to have worked .... phew!

Stuck with a message on the touch screen - checking device

This is an officejet 8500 wireless - the computer OS is Vista 64
The touch screen on the printer is stuck with a message that says "checking device" I cannot cancel or stop unless I unplug the printer. This occured after a paper jam.

First, make sure there are no little pieces of paper left in the printer. This document can help you check it out:

If you still get the message on the screen, pull the power cord out while the printer is turned on. Wait 15 mseconds. Hold down the # and 6 keys on the front while you plug the power cord back in. This should reset the printer and, with luck, will clear the message.

No option in control panal to turn on or off touch capability. I have no computer background so cant really get to technical. Is something simple turned on or off located in some mysterious place? I found the driver at the above link. I installed the driver, disabled my graphics card and rebooted. The touchscreen worked. Then I enabled the graphics card. So far so good. Hope I dont have to do this routine too often.

My iPod Touch (3rd Gen) is having problems with the touch screen being unresponsive, too responsive, freezing and constantly resizing. It varies between not responding when I tap the screen and acting as if I double-tap or tap and hold when I tap. Every so often it freezes for a minute or so and then comes back. The scren is constantly changing sizes too such that I often can't see most of the top status bar or other edges. This makes typing almost impossible, ruins most games and generally makes everything difficult, but otherwise the iPod is working correctly. Powering off, shutting down apps, letting it sit have not worked. This has happened once before months ago, but the issue resolved itself somehow. Is this a common problem? Is there a fix?
